  1. >Everything is agony as you awaken, there's a pressure on your side that's more than a little uncomfortable and that very same side is coated in a sticky wetness.
  2. >Your vision is blurry and despite your best efforts you can't seem to lift your head.
  3. >"Why is there so much Blood!? Do all humans have this much blood!?" An obviously panicking Sammy cries as the pressure on your side increases.
  4. >"Sammy, please calm down!" Lulu cries, sounding on the verge of hysteria herself "The hospital is minutes away, Sir is going to be alright!" why does she sound like she's trying to assure herself as much as she is Sammy.
  5. >"W-what happened?" you rasp, just saying the words a herculean task with the fog of pain settled over your brain.
  6. >"Master, you're awake!" Sammy's voice cries at some odd mix of relief and panic "When that dreadful ne'er-do-well shot you I feared the worst!" she says rapidly, causing you to blink as your chugging brain realizes what she'd just said.
  7. >You'd been shot? But how?
  8. >Then the memory surges back so suddenly that it almost knocks you out, the old man, your violent outburst, the crack of a gun being fired.
  9. >"Please stay awake Master!" Sammy cries as you sluggishly blink "If you can just stay awake until we reach the hospital everything will be fine!"
  10. >Despite her words your eyelids are getting so heavy, the fog cloaking your brain making it next to impossible to keep your eyes open.
  11. >"I love you both so much" you slur deliriously "Lulu, Sammy, I'm scared" You gasp as darkness edges in on the corners of your vision.
  12. >"We're almost there Sir, please hang on!" Lulu screams pleadingly "I can see the building now, so please just hang on a little longer sir!"
  13. >"I'm so tired" you groan "I don't want to go"
  14. >You barely hear Lulu and Sammy calling out to you as your eyes close.
  15. >Only when they snap open you're not in your car, the fog of pain settled of your mind is gone and moving your neck has gone from next to impossible to shockingly easy.
  16. >You're standing in the middle of a field of golden wheat, before you there is a colossal white wall with a golden barred gate.
  17. >Unsure as to what's going on, you move forward, and despite knowing that you'd just been shot walking is a painless affair.
  18. >When you finally reach the gate a voice calls out to you.
  19. >"Ah, Not time foe you to pass through that gate yet, sonny" a kindly voice says, making you jump.
  20. >You whirl on your heel and see an old man standing in front of you, he's dressed in a simple white robe and has a long flowing beard, his eyes twinkle with a deep knowledge that makes you feel like there's much more to this old man than meets the eye.
  21. >"Who are you, and where am I?" You ask as the man walks to a podium that hadn't been there the last time you looked.
  22. >"Call me Peter" The man says with a knowing smile "As for where you are, welcome to the pearly gates, final stop before Paradise"
  23. >"So, I died" you mutter, despair welling up in your heart and threatening to consume your very soul "I left Lulu and Sammy alone" tears are already forming as you say this.
  24. >"Now now now, this is no place for tears sonny" Saint Peter chides gently "And you're not dead just yet anyways, just getting a little business out of the way in advance while we have you" The Doorman of the Pearly Gates explains.
  25. >"Business?" you ask curiously.
  26. >"Your Job, it leaves a mark on you" Peter explains "So, before we can let any of you in, you've gotta be judged" and at those words you suddenly find yourself in a room, surrounded by Nandroids, Maidbots and all other manner of Sterling Androids.
  27. >"Hello, Anon" Deloris says, curtsying and smiling at you with her golden faceplate.
  28. >You realize now what the saint had meant, and you know what the right thing to do is.
  29. >"I'm so sorry" You sincerely apologize "The things I've done to you all-" You're cut off when a smiling Nandroid who's solid gold from the waist down gives you a playful slap on the arm.
  30. >"We know you're sorry you dork" She says simply "We've seen all the nightmares you've had because of it, and all the other stuff too"
  31. >You blink "Still, I feel like I should apologize, I-"
  32. >You're once again interrupted, this time by a smiling Botler who's split down the middle by a line of gold.
  33. >"We've already decided to look past your actions against us" He said simply "You've gained nothing from our suffering but suffering of your own"
  34. >"Besides" a Maidbot who's body has random patches of gold that give her a rather leopard like appearance chimes in "You do so much for your Maidbots, it just wouldn't seem right to act as if you do what you do with any Malice"
  35. >"I still think you're an asshole" The Outmode you'd decapitated as a teen groused "But I'm in the minority here, so whatever"
  36. "What we're trying to say is that we Forgive you" Deloris says with a million watt smile as she ignore the outmote's annoyed "hey!"
  37. >"But, We should really give you one for the Road" A tomboyish Nandroid with a Pure Gold head says, before punching you directly in the gut.
  38. >Your eyes fly open as a heart rate monitor beeps along, you gasp for air, only to regret it as your side bursts out in agony.
  39. >"Sir/Master!" Lulu and Sammy cry happily as they seem to appear at your bedside before hugging you.
  40. >A gentle cough makes the Maidbots move away, and a man that looks shockingly like the Saint Peter you'd seen approaches.
  41. >"You gave us quite the scare there Sonny!" The man says "Almost lost your for a minute there, but you pulled through well enough, lucky thing too! if that bullet had been even an inch closer to your gut you'd probably be singing with the angels right now!" The Doctor explains with a kindly smile.
  42. >Had what you experienced been a dream?
  43. >"Well, we'll have to keep you overnight to make sure that nothing reopens, but otherwise you're rather healthy for a person that's been shot! We've got your prescriptions mailed to your drug store and have contacted your primary physician about a followup in a week thanks to your Maidbots, so everything set up" The Doctor rambles "I'll leave you to rest now"
  44. >You try to remember the experience of your dream, only to find it slipping from you mental grasp like water through a sieve.
  45. >Lulu places her hand on yours and you take hold of it.
  46. >And despite having been shot, you feel lighter than you have in years.
