Traits:
Nopony really remembers where or when Gharzak the Dispicable was born. What is known is that he
was born among the worse members of Diamond Dog society, the bandits, the pirates, and the slavers. Growing up he engaged in all these dispicable pastimes. Through his extreme physical strength and durability, and utter ruthless demeaoner he managed to beat, slash, and claw his way to the top of his bandit tribe. Through merciless and horrible diplomacy he united the numerous tribes of his hilly homeland. Tales of his atrocities soon made their way across Equestria, and his reputation as a horrible villain was sealed. Gharzak began bringing Warlocks and Necromancers into his service, and made pacts with all manner of devils and unclean spirits, to grant his armies power over his enemies. The Guards were slain in piles by his horrible Tartarian blessed hordes. He led his horrible dogs over several Equestrian villages, killing the men and enslaving the old, the women, and the children. One day, when he was sitting on his felthrone, in the icy mountains of northern Equestria, in his tower of doom, treating with the astral representives of Tirek and Grogar, making arrangements to move from his simple raids to a full scale invasion of Equestria itself, a simple young pegasus, no more then ten years old, broke out of a nearby barrel, holding a wooden sword. Apparently the brain-dead young child had heard of Gharzak and his horrible deeds, and travelled miles by foot and riverboat to face Gharkzok in person. Gharkzok humored the young wannabe hero, and engaged him in conversation. The young pegasus hero, through a combination of clever argument and song, broke Gharzak's icy heart. He banished his demons and followed the young boy home.

When Gharzak arrived at the young pegasus house, black armor covering him head to foot, the boy's mother just about died of shock. They treated the Dark Lord to supper, and allowed him to stay in the guest room as he explained what had happened in his horrid domain in the north. The next day he was arrested without a fight by the Guard, who took him to Celestia, and when she heard his story, she gave him pardon on one condition. That he travel Equestria, learning the ways of Goodness and the magic of friendship, and sending her reports of what he was learning. Thus began the new days of adventure of Gharzak the formerally dispicable.
