- A gust of wind blew ever so gently, pushing Twilight's mane a bit back. She didn't mind, it felt nice. The purple pony stood from on top of the Ponyville library observatory deck. It was almost night, and a few very dim stars showed in the sky. "What did I do to deserve this? Why did it have to end this way?" The pony pondered with grief. But it had to. It had to end. She knew no other way to make the pain stop. She took a gulp of air, held it in intensely and approached the edge of the deck. She slowly breathed out through her nostrils as she put her two front hooves on the safety railing. Peace was soon to come. She looked directly down, spotting the unforgiving treacherous ground, almost mocking her. It had no feelings! It had no pain! No suffering! She calmed down, as her last moments were upon her. She never wanted it to end, but she had no other choice. She looked up, almost wishing somepony would help her, but nopony was there. "Nopony is going to help, because nopony wants to help! They're all selfish bastards!" Twilight grunted angrily through gritted teeth. She couldn't stay mad. Twilight wanted somepony to help, just anypony. She had no idea what they could do though, and alas, nopony knew what was happening, they all thought she was better. They didn't understand. She looked at the blissful horizon. The sunset was a beautiful array of yellow to red hues. She stared deeply at an orange strip of sky as she shed a tear. "I didn't want to admit it, it was easier to lie, and hide the hurt and emptiness, to smile instead of cry. There is one pain I often felt, which nopony will ever know. Without you I'm empty, only half of a whole." She recited as she slowly turned around and looked up at the sky. It was going to be the last thing she was ever going to see, she only wished it could of been her Pineapple. She then pulled herself up over the safety railing, standing upright on her to back legs. She closed her eyes, spread out her arms, and let herself do a backwards leap of faith. As Twilight fell she quickly thought about her beloved Pineapple. She thought about his long green spikes, and his perfect, small orange body. He was perfect for her, but for some reason it ended all to soon. She felt herself touch the ground as she smiled. Her bones snapped out of place and her neck broke. Her mangled body lay dead with a blithesome expression on her face.
