Why Roblox is not a bad game.

For those of you who are arguing about Roblox being a good or bad game, here's what I have to say.

Roblox community for the most part is the same as it has always been. There will always be that one large group of dumb kids with no common sense. Minecraft's community is no different, and we all know it.
The thing is, there are genuinely good games on there. A lot of us teenage/young adult users (including myself) are actually passionate to make good games. The innovation in game development for roblox is exponentially improving.

The difference between minecraft's community and roblox's community in terms of innovation, is that our community of innovative people is smaller (probably a couple thousand vs dozens of other active users), while Minecraft has a much larger group of talented users. In terms of quality though, I think its a tie. Roblox is under-rated because of mistakes made in the past, and peoples unwillingness to accept that it has gotten better. The admins actually listen to us now because we can communicate with them ( via the invite-only developer forums ), we actually make money off of developing games ( I cashed out $1250 from 500,000 robux recently ) and there are some people who have cashed out for $12,000. Its absolutely incredible.

Some may argue that their memberships are expensive. The truth is, Roblox has to pay for about 150 servers around the globe, so that all users can easily share their games. They host everything for you, and they still offer the game for free. At least they aren't forcing users to port forward their servers and host them on their own. Minecraft is technically doing the same thing with the introduction of realms, but you don't have the option to host realm servers for free (because they aren't doing advertising or anything).

Anyway, I don't really have much else to say. Spread the word, and hopefully one of these days, the message will break through that Roblox is an excellent platform to create professional games. Although great games may be tricky to find, they are out there.
