- Sylvannas is one of the first deities to enter Erilen, and while her peers had toiled with the heavens above, she had spent most of her life guiding life below.
- Spheres of Influence: Sylvannas is seen as the goddess of dreams and traveling.
- Symbol: Sylvannas' holy symbol is a butterfly with astral wings.
- Depiction: Sylvannas is described as a Sylvan giantess, with butterfly wings that contain all the beauty of the clear night sky.
- Month: Sylvannas' month is Syls, and is the first month of Spring.
- The Feywild: Sylvannas holds domain over the Feywild, a mystical realm filled with the magical creatures known as the Fey. The Feywild is just as colourful as its inhabitants; rivers run pink, the grass comes in blues, and the skies are a seemingly permanent rainbow of pastels.
- Notable Relations
- Tarnathwen(Daughter): Sylvannas shares an uneasy bond with her daughter after Alron's fall, seeing her rather capricious and vengeful nature as too dangerous. Still, the two work together and manage to get along just fine.
- Alron(Son): Sylvannas sees Alron's great change as both a lost cause and a failure of a mother on her part. She believes that her depraved son is truly long gone. Followers of Alron and Sylvannas clash quite often.
- Azeral(Father): While it is a known fact that Sylvannas was born from the Earthlord, Azeral himself remains a bit of a mystery; his betrayal to humanity and descent with Rhysvial caused Sylvannas to harbor a deep hatred for the elemental titan.
- Churches and Clergy
- Sylvanian churches are found far and few between. Her followers very rarely stay in one place, and instead are often found traveling across the globe. Still, her temples are found at certain points of the world; most notably Valonde parts of Ormanal. Traveling clerics often form small caravans to act as a mobile church, which in turn helps aid travelers and those lost by showing them the way.
- Actual temples of Sylvannas are, naturally, Sylvan in design, with sleek, curved architecture. The shrines are crafted of marble etched with floral designs. Travelers that stop by these churches will often frequent here to share their tales of adventure.
- Holy Texts
- Sylvanian Shrines: Sylvanian walls are left by worshipers across the world. These walls depict various journeys and hints for fellow travelers, with an aim to guiding them in finding their way, or perhaps, begin a new journey.
- Book of Ordeals: Sylvannas' holy text. Details the basic edicts of the faith, and is typically packed with multiple adventure stories. There are several different texts in these books; only containing her edicts, but have their own set of stories. The Book of Ordeals is also often used by traveling priests to gather the tales of other adventurers along the road.
- Notable Equipment
- Star Knife: A weapon modeled after the compass rose; with a handle found through the center. Resembles chakrams, but has points for each cardinal direction
- Rituals
- The Swallowtail Harvest: A celebration that consists of capturing various butterflies; typically crimson swallowtails. The butterflies are caged until midnight, while waiting during this time, participants celebrate through feasts, dancing, and various games. The butterflies are then released at midnight. A butterfly landing on someone is considered to be a good omen. It is celebrated to commemorate Sylvannas' aid to Xalon by transforming the two into a butterfly, allowing for the two to swiftly notify Amelia of Alron's demise.
