  1. The Retarded Child of Hughes and Hendrix: It's been at least an hour or two since you boarded the plane on the way to Tsuen, hopefully with the intention of participating in the MD League you were mysteriously invited to.
  2. Neal: (( yep, sure has ))
  3. Joe: CONVERSE AMONGST YOURSELVES
  4. Neal: (( guess I've been reading something ))
  5. Tuco: *Asleep, drooling over self*
  6. The Retarded Child of Hughes and Hendrix: The plane itself is relatively sparse, the seats occupied by a few bored-looking civilians, whether or not they have anything to do with the anticipated league being ambiguious
  7. Neal: (( what, do complete strangers usually talk on planes ))
  8. Lydia: *staring out the window due to all dem electronics being banned*
  9. The Retarded Child of Hughes and Hendrix: The plane appears to be experiencing some degree of turbulance, making the flight attendant fall over clumsily
  10. Neal: *aw yeah, perspective*
  11. Flight Attendant: Whoops! Silly ol' me!
  12. Tuco: *Startled up, looks around, snort*
  13. Flight Attendant: Here, would you like some complimentary peanuts? @Drooling sleeping idiot
  14. Tuco: SInce you woke me up, sure, why not?
  15. Flight Attendant: Here you go fine sir! *Hands the idiot special DEEZ NUTZ brand Peanuts, extra-salty*
  16. Tuco: *Omnomnomnomnomnomnomnom*
  17. Flight Attendant: Here, would you appreciate som-?
  18. tKujo: THEN SUDDENLY, the plane begins to shake and a faint explosion erupts from the first class section!
  19. Tuco: *Spits up peanuts*
  20. Neal: *head jerks up* What on earth was that?!
  21. Flight Attendant: Aw LAWDY! Did the pilot eat one too many of my complimentary dried beans?
  22. Lydia: Hey, you're a stewardess, right? What just happened?
  23. Tuco: *Tries to look at the front of the plane from seat*
  24. tKujo: Suddenly, a figure arises from the smoke billowing from the first class area.
  25. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): ALRIGHT, LISTEN UP!
  26. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): THIS HERE IS WHAT WE'D LIKE TO CALL A STICK-DOWN!
  27. Catherim (Battle Mode): I-isn't the proper term a stick-up?
  28. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): DID I -SAY- YOU COULD TALK?
  29. Catherim (Battle Mode): I-I'm sooorrrry!
  30. Neal: A planejacking? You have to be kidding me.
  31. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): NOW PREPARE FOR ALL VARIETIES OF TROUBLE!
  32. Tuco: (The hell do they want with some minor plane like this?)
  33. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): AND MAKE IT UH...QUADRUPLE
  34. Lydia: Is this a joke? Some kind of in-flight performance?
  35. Catherim (Battle Mode): Did you just not think of a good motto yet?
  36. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): Well uh, I left the lyrics at home, so I'm just winging it right now....
  37. Flight Attendant: Oh my! It appears we are bein' robbed folks!
  38. Flight Attendant: Don't worry, being robbed is a perfectly harmless process so long as you follow the proper protocol!
  39. Neal: Don't you have procedures for this kind of thing?
  40. Lydia: I don't know, it seems kinda fishy. Why would robbers bomb the plane they're on? I still think this is some kinda show.
  41. Tuco: (Probably don't want anything from me. You don't just rob a plane for no reason.)
  42. Flight Attendant: Why of course! We have it installed into our televisions for your convenience!
  43. Flight Attendant: *Presses a remote*
  44. television: *Bewoop* See passengers, dealing with a plane robbery is a perfectly harmless feat that's easily dealt with a few easy steps
  45. television: However, we didn't quite have the budget to think of those steps yet, so yeah.
  46. television: Let's just hope you really don't see this video, I mean we REALLY hope you don't, because if you do wooo, god help you!
  47. Neal: W-why would you even publish that? That was completely useless.
  48. Tuco: Forgot to edit it out?
  49. Tuco: *Speaks because everyone is speaking*
  50. Lydia: Was an in-flight movie too expensive?
  51. television: Well crap, if this thing is running this long, the only step I can think of is to just do whatever your captors ask for and panic really hard as to, um, make things a bit more shaky for the robbers.
  52. television: That's all! BYE!
  53. Flight Attendant: Huh, well that sure was something!
  54. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): OKAY! In case you don't know, we're members of the greatest evil team in the world! Team Cosmos! That's what it is!
  55. Catherim (Battle Mode): I-I always thought it was Team Comet...
  56. Neal: Gah... nothing to it, then, guess I'll just wait until they come through. Glad I didn't bring much.
  57. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): It's Team Cosmos now!
  58. Tuco: (Team this team that, no organizations or nothing. No originality.) Can you just go rob the rich passengers or whatever you're gonna do please?
  59. Lydia: Pst..stewardess lady, I think you need to hire better actors. These guys are forgetting their lines.
  60. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): H-hey! We aren't actors! Now hand over your stuff before we really gotta shake this plane down!
  61. Tuco: Yeah, nobody's stopping you. Go and take -their- stuff. *Shoves mouthful of peanuts in face*
  62. tKujo: The plane itself begins to shake like CUH-RAYZEE, rumbling as smoke billows from the side
  63. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): See! Just like that!
  64. Catherim (Battle Mode): Um...did we install more than one bomb here?
  65. Lydia: *points to fat guy* His peanuts are worth more th---whoa! Isn't that a little dangerous for a play!
  66. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): No! No we did not!
  67. Catherim (Battle Mode): Then...what was that explosion?
  68. Neal: *starts looking around for mechanism to turn chair into floatation device*
  69. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): I have no idea, and truth be told, I'm pretty scared right now!
  70. Tuco: ......
  71. Tuco: Can you just get out your boss or whoever set up the bomb out to do the talking
  72. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): Shut up fatty! We're the only ones here!
  73. Catherim (Battle Mode): So um, you have no idea what that was then?
  74. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): Catherim, you do NOT need to make this any more stressful than it is right now!
  75. Lydia: Are there any more participants?
  76. Neal: (( « 1d20 = 2 » saving through to resist Khold's mind control ))
  77. Neal: (( welp ))
  78. Lydia: (( « 1d20 = 1 » ))
  79. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): What? Of course not! Now if you don't give us your stuff, we wil-
  80. Lydia: (( (FEDUP) ))
  81. tKujo: Yet another esxplosion erupts from the side
  82. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): Okay, now I think this is worth worrying about!
  83. Neal: (( did I find anything in regards to emergency procedure ))
  84. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): What the heck is going on Catherim? I demand you to check!
  85. Tuco: Shit! Stop talking to us and go fix your stupid explosives!
  86. Tuco: THEN rob us. Them. THEM.
  87. Catherim (Battle Mode): Um, uuuh.....
  88. Flight Attendant: Oh hey! Look directly to your left, out the window!
  89. Flight Attendant: I wonder what that may be!?
  90. Tuco: *Herp a derp derp look*
  91. Neal: Hey, lady, is this plane going down or what?
  92. Lydia: Uh, okay...
  93. Lydia: This part of the thing, too?
  94. Lydia: (( « 8d8 = 26 » ))
  95. tKujo: Soaring above the skies, a magnificent look of a city in Tsuen can be seen! But more importantly, it seems to be ravaged by a giant monster that's firing beams into the sky.
  96. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): Oh! Well that would do it!
  97. Tuco: ......
  98. Flight Attendant: Well! Seems we're quite in a predicament!
  99. Neal: « 1d8*1d8*1d8*1d8 = 5 * 5 * 6 * 2 = 300 »*1d8*1d8*1d8*1d8]
  100. Lydia: Oh, jeez, they really shelled out the money for this one.
  101. Neal: (( shit ))
  102. Neal: (( whatever ))
  103. Neal: (( ... ))
  104. Neal: (( wait what ))
  105. Lydia: « [1d8]*[1d8] = Invalid expression: [1d8]*[1d8]. »
  106. Lydia: (( obv ))
  107. Neal: ...okay, what the bleeding hell is that.
  108. Neal: (( « 1d8*1d8*1d8*1d8*1d8*1d8*1d8*1d8 = 1 * 6 * 7 * 8 * 8 * 6 * 8 * 6 = 774144 » ))
  109. tKujo: Looking out, it appears to be a gigantic dinosaur-esque creature, far beyond the scale of any Pokemon you've seen
  110. Tuco: This isn't a damn show. (How close are we to the water for when we inevitably have to jump out the bloody plane)
  111. Messatsu: GGURRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH
  112. Lydia: Oh, I know. But I think it's the only way to keep sane in this situation.
  113. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): Huh....were we planning that at any point in time?
  114. Catherim (Battle Mode): No, don't think we were.
  115. Neal: *rushes over to the window to get a better look*
  116. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): Huh, so um...
  117. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): Can we forget this all happened?
  118. Tuco: Hey, you, robbers. Did you bring along an escape plan?
  119. Tuco: Per chance?
  120. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): Like, um, are there any chances of you safely landing this thing?
  121. Catherim (Battle Mode): Hmm, actually, we were! It should be over-
  122. Neal: That'd be nice, wouldn't it?
  123. Lydia: Just ask the pilot to do it.
  124. tKujo: A massive hyper beam eradicated the upper half of the plane
  125. Neal: (( BUT YES, DID I REMEMBER THE PRO- ))
  126. Catherim (Battle Mode): Oooh, and there it goes...
  127. Lydia: Yep. Just the pilot.
  128. Tuco: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
  129. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): Hmm, well...
  130. Tuco: *Scrambles about for parachutes*
  131. Flight Attendant: Okay, don't worry passangers, we will all be fine!
  132. Neal: it's PROBABLY pretty fair to worry right now, but come on, do these seats come off? Is there a boat?
  133. Flight Attendant: All you have to do is have your tray table up and your seat in the upright position!
  134. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): Well...well.....
  135. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): WAAAAAAAH
  136. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): I DON'T WANNA DIE!
  137. Neal: Then you SHOULDN'T HAVE BLOWN UP A PLANE.
  138. Catherim (Battle Mode): Aah, aah, don't cry, I think if we all just put our heads together...
  139. tKujo: The back of the plane begins to descend into the ground, leaving you in a near Zero-G state
  140. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): I always wanted to fly before I die~
  141. Neal: So... now would be a good time to ask if anyone has any flying-types.
  142. Tuco: It wasn't these dumbfucks! It was the giant monster! I'm gonna die, but I'm NOT gonna die knowing I died to these idiots.
  143. Lydia: I do! Oh, but I don't think it'll be of much help.
  144. Neal: Please tell me it's not a Pidgey or something.
  145. Neal: (( how long do we have before impact ))
  146. Lydia: Nope, it's- Hey, wait, can you even release Pokemon here?
  147. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): Though I never even got a kiss from our dear leader....
  148. Lydia: Well, worth a shot...
  149. tKujo: It's falling really fast. Maybe about 1.5 minutes
  150. Neal: (( does the plane still have wings? ))
  151. Lydia: *hits release button*
  152. Tuco: Well at least you're not dying a virgin you fuckin' whore! *Very panicky, still running around looking fruitlessly for parachutes like idiot*
  153. tKujo: It has one wing
  154. tKujo: Meaning it's also spiraling
  155. Neal: (( oh god why ))
  156. Lydia: See? Practically useless.
  157. Neal: ...does it know Fly?
  158. tKujo: THIRTY SECONDS TILL IMPACT
  159. Neal: You two, the would-be robbers, surely you have anything at all that can help.
  160. tKujo: By now you're starting to feel lightheaded. You may or may not black out soon
  161. Lydia: It doesn't!
  162. Lydia: I guess it can sorta glide around though.
  163. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): Uh, of course we do! Let's see! Um...
  164. Tuco: Alright. So since you're all incompent fucks, you IDIOTS are gonna grab onto me. I'm a psychic. RIGHT BEFORE the crash, I'm gonna teleport out onto the ground and we won't splat.
  165. Electro : Gally?
  166. Neal: *sizes him up skeptically* Can... you do that?
  167. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): Electro! Do you have any ideas how do get out of this mess?
  168. Electro : ...vantula?
  169. Tuco: DO YOU HAVE A BETTER IDEA?!
  170. Lydia: Eurgh, really? *undoes seatbelt* This is probably more dangerous than before. Anyone else's head hurt?
  171. Tatsuun (Battle Mode): He has no idea either!
  172. Tuco: Target: Self.
  173. Neal: ...
  174. Neal: *walks away silently back to seat*
  175. Neal: *buckles in*
  176. tKujo: Now you must all make con checks to avoid blacking out
  177. Neal: « 1d20+1 = 3 + 1 = 4 »
  178. Neal: obv
  179. Lydia: « 1d20-1 = 15 - 1 = 14 »
  180. Tuco: « 1d20+2 = 7 + 2 = 9 »
  181. tKujo: Neal blacks out
  182. tKujo: You all black out
  183. Neal: (( WELL AT LEAST I BUCKLED IN FIRST ))
  184. Eldin: *least I'm probably awake, due to being flyin type and all*
  185. Lydia: *slumps onto floor(
  186. The Retarded Child of Hughes and Hendrix: You all wake up in what appears to be an extremely run-down building. The ceiling is busted open, and small amounts of wreckage from the plane litters the area.
  187. The Retarded Child of Hughes and Hendrix: It's cold, wet, and probably very dirty
  188. Neal: (( so how much damage do we take from the fall ))
  189. Lydia: Ooogh...and I thought my head hurt before...
  190. The Retarded Child of Hughes and Hendrix: Faint sounds of screeching can be heard around the building
  191. Tuco: *Gets up off ass, looks around at area I'm in, sees if the robbers are nearby*
  192. Tuco: Well. . .Uuuuuhhhh. . .
  193. Neal: argh.. did that really just happen? *rubs head*
  194. Tuco: My teleport must've worked. I saved us. And we ended up wherever this is.
  195. The Retarded Child of Hughes and Hendrix: Nobody appears to be nearby except a few people you saw on the plane. That is, Lydia and Neal.
  196. Neal: (( I hope we still have all our shit ))
  197. Neal: (( please tell me we still have all our shit ))
  198. The Retarded Child of Hughes and Hendrix: Yeah sure
  199. Lydia: Oh, I wasn't even near you. Did I teleport too, then?
  200. Tuco: Well yeah it has some range.
  201. Neal: Er... I guess that's the only explanation for it? Thanks, Mr...?
  202. Lydia: Oh, and you made it out after all! And those annoying robbers are gone. Today's not such a bad day after all.
  203. Tuco: Tuco. We'd. . .Better get away from wherever we are though. That monster's still probably out there.
  204. Tuco: You hear that screech?
  205. tKujo: One of the televisions from the plane drop down from the ceiling.
  206. Tuco: ...
  207. Neal: Where the hell are we, anyway? Some sort of abandone- jesus!
  208. television: Bewwoooop!
  209. Tuco: *LOOKS UP*
  210. television: If you're somehow hearing this, then congratulations! You survived a crash that most certainly should have been lethal
  211. television: In fact, it's a wonder that this television somehow survived along with you.
  212. Neal: *turns up volume a little bit*
  213. television: Funny how that works!
  214. Lydia: They prepared for everything.
  215. Tuco: ...
  216. Tuco: Yeeeeeeah I didn't teleport that.
  217. Lydia: What if it explodes, too?
  218. Neal: I'm not sure why it would.
  219. television: But don't panic! I'm sure you're thinking to yourself "gee, now I'm stranded on a deserted region without any materials whatsoever, and I'm surely gonna die too! Man, I wish I died on impact!"
  220. Lydia: Well the plane did, I don't see why it couldn't.
  221. Neal: Pretty sure the robbers didn't get to this. And those may have been some pretty terrible peanuts, but I don't think the stewardess lady would have boobytrapped it.
  222. television: And trust me, I sometimes wish I died on impact too! Well, it's not like I CAN die, as I'm just a prerecorded message on a television!
  223. Tuco: « 1d20+5 = 5 + 5 = 10 » int check to try to remember anything awkward about boarding the plane
  224. Lydia: Whoa, the person who recorded this sure was a darky. So are we just going to loiter here, or find a way out? It's too wet in here.
  225. tKujo: You recall actually the robbers you saw earlier boardin the plane, and getting up to leave to the front. They weren't in their battle armor however.
  226. Lydia: At least I made it to Tsuen, I guess.
  227. Neal: *checks belt to make sure pokeballs are still there, already confirmed they were earlier, thank god*
  228. tKujo: It's a wonder how you remembered that in the first place.
  229. Tuco: Well this TV. . .Can't be from the plane. Doesn't make -any- damn sense. We must just be in some abandoned. . .Whatever this is.
  230. tKujo: The screeching gets louder, and you see that rocks are raining from the girders.
  231. tKujo: None of them are hitting you, but damn are they getting close
  232. Neal: (( animal/pokemon screeching or mechanical ))
  233. Tuco: *Flees to try to get some cover*
  234. tKujo: Animal/Pokemon
  235. Tuco: *Not wanting to go outside, assuming monster is there*
  236. Neal: Yeah, this place isn't safe.
  237. Neal: Let's look for a way down.
  238. Lydia: What say we ignore that and hope it's nothing bad?
  239. Neal: Sounds like a great way to get horribly injured.
  240. Neal: Something I'd like to prevent.
  241. Tuco: I teleported us onto the island still, obviously.
  242. Tuco: The monster's probably outside this building
  243. television: Now at this point, this is usually where you're starting to get annoyed by pesky wild Pokemon!
  244. Lydia: I'm starting to dislike that TV.
  245. Neal: Alright, even if it's outside, we can still at least get down.
  246. television: Now, I know you may be thinking "Hey! I'm really starting to dislike this TV now! Why did it survive of all things?"
  247. Neal: *looks through hole in ceiling, any chance of catching a glimpse of monsterthing*
  248. Lydia: *ignores TV* Oh, yeah! I think I might be able to glide down.
  249. television: To which I say, oops, I think we may be reaching the point where-
  250. tKujo: The television is crushed by a larger rock.
  251. Zubat: Skreeheeehee!
  252. Neal: Now? Really?
  253. Zubat 1: Skreeskreekee!
  254. Zubat: Skreeskree?
  255. Zubat 1: Keee keee
  256. Tuco: How long's this place been abandoned?!
  257. Neal: (( are we allowed to release Pokemon or has combat started already ))
  258. tKujo: There is no combat yet. The Zubats are just laughing at you from the rafters
  259. Neal: (( alright ))
  260. Tuco: *Does not release Pogeyman*
  261. Neal: Yeah, we could probably use some backup here. *steps back, releases Ralphie*
  262. Lydia: I say we ignore them and hope they're nothing bad.
  263. tKujo: The extra weight from your Pokemon causes the girder to shake.
  264. Tuco: Just move. They don't even have eyes.
  265. tKujo: Yes, turns out it's a bit fragile
  266. Neal: ...alright.
  267. Zubat: Heeheee!
  268. Zubat: *Keeeheee!
  269. Neal: Let's... spread the weight out a bit.
  270. Neal: *clambers over TV*
  271. Lydia: Yeah, so we can put pressure on all of the joints!
  272. tKujo: The girder begins to steady itself a bit, though it still feels really shaky
  273. Zubat: Keeheeeheee!
  274. Tuco: *Balancing awkwardly up on top* *Goes to teleport to the closest section to the bottom as possible without splatting against ground*
  275. Neal: ...there sure are a lot of tho-
  276. Neal: (( obv ))
  277. Zubat: Keeesheeshee!
  278. Zubat 3: Kweeee!
  279. Lydia: Abandon ship, then!
  280. Tuco: That's what I've been trying to tell you to do!
  281. Tuco: If you wanna fight them so bad do it on the damn ground
  282. Neal: oh, shoot! Quick, Ralphie, use Bubblebeam on that rock before they drop it!
  283. Zubat 3: *HOLY SHIT THEY'RE GETTING CLOSER*
  284. Lydia: *grabs Gligar's foot thing* You think you can get me down a bit?
  285. Ralphie: *SHIT GUESS I BETTER ROLL*
  286. Tuco: *Has been waiting for GM to acknowledge my teleport*
  287. Ralphie: « 1d20 = 12 »
  288. tKujo: well obv
  289. Eldin: Gliiii.
  290. tKujo: You indeed teleport like a motherfucker
  291. Lydia: Sure, okay, whatever that means. Just go to...*looks around for a close beam* That one!
  292. Neal: *KEEPS LOOKING FOR A WAY DOWN, FUCK YOU, ZUBATS*
  293. tKujo: Your bubble beam hits something. Specify where you were aiming it
  294. Tuco: *Looks to see what the fuck is at bottom*
  295. Ralphie: the boulder yo
  296. Lydia: « 1d20+5 = 18 + 5 = 23 »
  297. tKujo: It does indeed hit the boulder, causing it to fall off of the Zubat's toes.
  298. tKujo: The boulder hits a supporting girder, causing your platform to creak and tilt horribly.
  299. tKujo: Dex check to grab onto something
  300. Neal: « 1d20-1 = 4 - 1 = 3 » what dex
  301. Neal: exactly
  302. Neal: ...
  303. Neal: right
  304. tKujo: You in fact begin to slip and fall
  305. tKujo: Dex check to grab onto another girder
  306. Ralphie: do I save or something or just watch my absolute idiot trainer flail
  307. Neal: « 1d20-2 = 14 - 2 = 12 » crs
  308. tKujo: Ralphie does indeed need to save
  309. Ralphie: « 1d20+5 = 18 + 5 = 23 »
  310. tKujo: Neal grabs onto a fragile girder, while Ralphie manages to safely leverage himself onto a more stable one. Neal and Ralphie are about 2 yards away horizontally.
  311. tKujo: The girder Neal is dangling from is a short way from falling horribly.
  312. Neal: Uh... little help here?!
  313. tKujo: A few girders begin to rain from the sky. Lydia and Tuco must dex save.
  314. Lydia: « 1d20+5 = 11 + 5 = 16 »
  315. Ralphie: *coolly preens feathers*
  316. Lydia: Whoa! Watch where you're dangling, kid!
  317. tKujo: Lydia just manages to avoid a gigantic metal girder! If it hit her, she might have been crushed!
  318. Tuco: Send your dumb bat to save him or something.
  319. Lydia: Should I just jump the rest of the way? Alright, Eldin, go fetch him!
  320. Tuco: « 1d20-2 = 7 - 2 = 5 »
  321. tKujo: A metal girder falls onto Tuco's head! « 1d12 = 10 »
  322. Tuco: *Cursespams as holding head walking around*
  323. Lydia: Ohh...*looks around for footholds*
  324. Neal: *just dangling overhead with all 8 Str*
  325. Eldin: *stares at Neal*
  326. Tuco: *Goes to continue climbing down*
  327. tKujo: You see a few footholds fashioned from the fallen girders. You can probably climb 20 feet with them.
  328. Neal: Er... alright, so...
  329. Neal: *tries to grab onto its... back? or how do I even hold on*
  330. Neal: *tail then*
  331. Eldin: *I have a tail*
  332. Neal: « 1d20-2 = 7 - 2 = 5 » *GUESS I MAKE A CHECK THEN, OH BOY*
  333. Neal: *OOOOHH BOY*
  334. Lydia: *I GUESS I JUMP DOWN TO SOME FOOTHOLDS IF THEY EXIST, LET'S DO THAT THEN*
  335. Tuco: *Says what is said in skype youtube comment style*
  336. tKujo: You fall, and hit another few girders.
  337. Lydia: « 1d20+5 = 4 + 5 = 9 »
  338. tKujo: The girder that fell knocks the footholds that wre holding Lydia off.
  339. Ralphie: *watches him fall*
  340. tKujo: However, said falling foothold manages to break Neal's fall a bit.
  341. Neal: aaaahh!
  342. Lydia: Oh come on, this isn't even funny!
  343. tKujo: Neal in fact manages to land on the very thin upper region of the girder, which is now about to fall horribly.
  344. tKujo: Better dex check both of you
  345. Lydia: « 1d20+5 = 7 + 5 = 12 »
  346. Neal: « 1d20-2 = 2 - 2 = 0 » mfw I roll higher
  347. Neal: NOPE
  348. Tuco: Effect: You may reroll any die, or have any ally reroll any die.
  349. tKujo: Lydia manages to break her fall. However, Neal not only slipped, but fell all the way back into a pile of junk in the rearside of the building.
  350. tKujo: From what Neal can see, the floor you're on is still quite a ways up. It's a good thing you didn't fall all the way.
  351. Lydia: Nn...I have to stop lending out my POkemon, nothing good ever comes of it..
  352. Neal: owowow
  353. tKujo: Around the area you can see mounds of junk littering the place.
  354. Neal: *one of them with me and the purple flying rat in it*
  355. Neal: *delightful*
  356. Tuco: « 1d20+5 = 19 + 5 = 24 » *Inspects junk*
  357. tKujo: The junk appears to be nests formed by the Zubats.
  358. Eldin: OBV
  359. Ralphie: *uses Metal Claw on wall, slides down*
  360. Tuco: *Goes to see if there is a window to look out*
  361. tKujo: They all appear to be empty by now, save for a few scraps of food.
  362. tKujo: Part of the bulding is peeled off, leaving it obvious how high you are. (About 15 stories)
  363. tKujo: There are no monsters in sight however. But you can still hear much screeching.
  364. Tuco: Monster must've gone to another part of the island. . .Either way we've got a hell of a long way down.
  365. Neal: *lets go of Gligar*
  366. Neal: Er... thanks for trying, I guess. My bad.
  367. tKujo: The room is mostly featureless apart from the junk mounds, and a few doors give you some exit options.
  368. Tuco: *Goes to go through random door, just doing a casual hand motion for others to follow him*
  369. Neal: *gets up, dusts self off*
  370. Ralphie: *curtly nods to Lydia*
  371. tKujo: The door opens up, and you see yet another giant row of girders suspended above a stage.
  372. Lydia: *goes through the damned door*
  373. Neal: Don't tell me we're going to have to climb down this entire thing..,
  374. Neal: Do they not believe in elevators here?
  375. Lydia: Maybe there's a dumbwaiter. I think you and I could fit.
  376. Tuco: Well if we -don't- keep going, the monster will show back up and accidentally knock the building over with his tail or something.
  377. Lydia: At the rate we're going, WE'LL accidentally knock it over.
  378. tKujo: A large swarm of Zubat appear to be flying about the area.
  379. Neal: couldn't you just teleport us again before we hit the ground?
  380. tKujo: None of them are near you, but they're certainly in sight
  381. Lydia: Oh boy.
  382. Tuco: Move before the damn bats notice us this time.
  383. Lydia: Move where? More down?
  384. Tuco: *CLIMBS DOWN WITH NON EXISTENT DEX* « 1d20-2 = 4 - 2 = 2 »
  385. tKujo: You slip and fall onto the girder.
  386. tKujo: The girder breaks slightly, causing a scrap of metal to hit another one
  387. tKujo: Said falling girder seems to hit something, responding with a SKREEE
  388. Neal: See, that's why we take this slowly!
  389. Lydia: That didn't sound good. Hey,can I have my Flying-type Pokemon back now?
  390. Neal: Yeah yeah, he's yours.
  391. Zubat: Skreewrryyyyy?
  392. Neal: *pulls fatass up* C'mon, let
  393. Neal: 's keep going.
  394. Zubat: Skreeeee!
  395. Lydia: Erk... You, big guy, don't be moving anymore, you hear?
  396. Neal: Hey, are you doing alright? That was a pretty nasty blow to the head you took.
  397. Lydia: Just do that teleport thing, at least it doesn't make noise..
  398. Tuco: Could be a lot better.
  399. tKujo: All of the Zubat seem to be moving out of their way, as if to make room for something.
  400. Badass Golbat: KUURRUUUUSHIIIIIII
  401. Neal: Alright, well hold- that thought, actually, that is a HUGE Golbat.
  402. Zubat: Skeeskee!
  403. Tuco: ...*Releases Pogeyman on top of anything it can stand on since there is apparently something to support my fat ass*
  404. tKujo: You have startled the badass golbat. Now would be a good time to run.
  405. Neal: *WELL SHIT, WHERE*
  406. Neal: *THIS IS A TERRIBLE MAP FOR A CHASE SCENE*
  407. Lydia: And down I go!
  408. Lydia: *grabs tail*
  409. tKujo: You release the Ivysaur onto a supporting girder.
  410. Tuco: Ivysaur, Sleep Powder on the giant ass bat. Shoot it in his mouth. *Goes to TELEPOAT MAIO to bottom*
  411. tKujo: There appears to be enough stray beams around to hop down to
  412. Neal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK6TXMsvgQg
  413. Lydia: Down, down, down!
  414. Lydia: « 1d20+5 = 1 + 5 = 6 »
  415. Ivysaur: « 1d20 = 2 »
  416. Badass Golbat: The Golbat appears to just be getting pissed off.
  417. Neal: « 1d20-2 = 9 - 2 = 7 » *LET'S HOPE THIS WORKS*
  418. Neal: *OF COURSE IT WON'T*
  419. tKujo: Lydia trips and falls, causing a girder to just go FLYING off, flipping and hitting another girder, causing a chain that hits a girder directly above the badass Golbat, making it hit it.
  420. tKujo: Also, she takes « 1d12 = 6 » Damage
  421. tKujo: Neal just manages to grasp onto a girder with his hands.
  422. Badass Golbat: KUSHEEEEEN
  423. Lydia: OOFH! Argh..have I been putting on weight or something?
  424. Neal: You know what, this is no place for a penguin. *calls Ralphie back*
  425. tKujo: The Golbat is now STEAMED, and seems to be commanding an order to the Zubats.
  426. Neal: *is there ground beneath me*
  427. Lydia: Try it again, same direction!
  428. Neal: *as in*
  429. Neal: *AT LEAST REMOTELY CLOSE beneath me*
  430. tKujo: The ground is 30 feet up, though a few girders are littered about to break your fall.
  431. tKujo: *30 feet down
  432. Neal: *fuck it, let's hope this works* « 1d20-2 = 7 - 2 = 5 »
  433. Neal: *mmmmmmmm*
  434. Neal: this is far from ideeeeaaaaal *falls*
  435. tKujo: Neal just manages to grab onto a girder by the tips of his fingers.
  436. Neal: (( there we are http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxoUmh2FCX4 ))
  437. tKujo: The Golbat flies all the way up while the swarm gathers about in a sinister fashion.
  438. tKujo: The Golbat seems to be chewing on something and messing with bits of equipment, causing some sparks to fly out.
  439. Lydia: « 1d20+5 = 17 + 5 = 22 »
  440. Lydia: *GLIDES DOWN, SEE YOU FARMBOY*(
  441. Tuco: *Returns Ivysaur*
  442. Neal: *huf, huf* Alright, that wasn't so baad
  443. Badass Golbat: KURUSHAAAN
  444. Badass Golbat: *Breaks something apart*
  445. tKujo: The room has now COMPLETELY BLACKED OUT
  446. Lydia: This is not my favorite mode of transportation...
  447. Neal: « 1d20-2 = 10 - 2 = 8 » *this is not how I wanted to spend my day (cry2-
  448. tKujo: You are unable to see anything in pitch black darkness.
  449. Neal: *guess I can't grab onto anything*
  450. Neal: *as I can't fucking see*
  451. tKujo: You clumsily fall about while being startled
  452. tKujo: The sounds of Zubat swarm about you.
  453. tKujo: « 1d12 = 6 » Neal takes this much damage
  454. Neal: Okay, desperately scrambling down a 15 story building in pitch blackness while pursued by Zubat, oddly enough, is NOT something they teach in medical school.
  455. Neal: No fire types either?
  456. Lydia: Well, at least they can't see us.
  457. Neal: They don't have to.
  458. Lydia: I got an idea, maybe..
  459. Tuco: They don't even have eyes.
  460. Lydia: Well now they REALLY can't see us!
  461. tKujo: A zooming bat flies by and scratches Lydia on the cheek. « 1d20 = 5 »
  462. Tuco: *Was on the ground first, tries to remember the location of any doo*
  463. Tuco: *door
  464. Tuco: « 1d20+5 = 15 + 5 = 20 »
  465. tKujo: You find a door, knob and all.
  466. Tuco: Over here, found a door.
  467. Tuco: *Does NOT immediately go through because I will just fall to death presumably*
  468. Lydia: Did I just feel something pass by me?
  469. tKujo: For now, let's just say Lydia draws a small amount of blood.
  470. Neal: *scrambles in direction of the voice*
  471. Neal: *er, Tuco's*
  472. Neal: A door? Room? Shelter?
  473. Lydia: Alright, let's get out of here!
  474. Neal: *slams into Tuco's flabby body as he hasn't entered*
  475. tKujo: The door leads to a room, still dark, but there's faint amounts of light in the corner.
  476. Neal: *maybe not*
  477. Tuco: *Pushes him in*
  478. tKujo: the screetches of the Zubats appear to be tryng to follow you
  479. Neal: *tumbles head over heels into the room, obv*
  480. Tuco: *Follows in if he does not hear a horrible splat*
  481. Lydia: *WALKS INTO THE ROOM (D)*
  482. tKujo: Sadly you do not
  483. Tuco: *Slams door*
  484. Tuco: (Still no light?)
  485. tKujo: There's a faint amount in the room you're entering.
  486. tKujo: It appears to be yet another stage. Thankfully, none of the Zubats appear to have folowed you.
  487. Lydia: Am I the only one thinking that the architect here was really lazy.
  488. Lydia: ?*
  489. Neal: You are not.
  490. Neal: *stands up... again*
  491. Tuco: You almost blow up in a plane crash and get eaten by a golbat
  492. Tuco: and you just go admiring archietecture.
  493. Neal: TERRIBLE architecture.
  494. Neal: Seriously, this is like out of one of those video games.
  495. Neal: Or something.
  496. Lydia: Reveling in the mundane is a good way to keep one's mind in tact.
  497. Tuco: . . .Kinda is actually.
  498. Tuco: Well new plan.
  499. Tuco: *Releases Ivysaur again*
  500. Lydia: We look for cheat codes?
  501. Neal: Right, hold still a sec.
  502. Tuco: Ivysaur, make a vine path down to the floor.
  503. Neal: *slaps a Hello Kitty bandaid on the obese mexican wrestler*
  504. Jeremy: *ARM CUT OFF*
  505. Blaine 1: HOLY SHIT
  506. Blaine 1: SHOVE A POTION IN THERE
  507. Neal: *restore 20 HP yo*
  508. Tuco: *Does not see the branding of bandaid in dark* Uuuhhh, thanks?
  509. Lydia: Well, you two stay here and play doctor...I'm gonna keep going.
  510. Neal: Now, that's infused with *technobabble* to *technobabble*. It might itch a bit, but don't take it off for at least five minutes or so.
  511. Ivysaur: Ivysaur: *Is attempting to make a threaded path to ground*
  512. tKujo: You make it to the ground, where a few more doors await you.
  513. tKujo: HOWEVER, suddenly a loud screeching begins to fill the area. Sounds like the Golbat. Thankfully it is out of sight.
  514. Lydia: I sure hope this is the actual bottom, then..
  515. Neal: *any windows*
  516. tKujo: There is a single window, from where the light source came from.
  517. Neal: Somehow I doubt it. *looks down*
  518. Lydia: *looks out window I guess*
  519. tKujo: For some elaboration, this building appears to be situated in a giant abandoned city. It looks like something straight outta Mad Max.
  520. tKujo: But yes, you are still quite high up.
  521. Neal: Does that answer your question?
  522. tKujo: There is indeed one nearby building about a block away.
  523. Lydia: Anyone say we go to that building?
  524. Neal: (( same height or what ))
  525. Lydia: Maybe it has, I don't know, stairs or something.
  526. Tuco: Anything's better than what we've been doing, yeah.
  527. tKujo: It's slightly shorter than the building your in, but it's still pretty tall.
  528. tKujo: *you're
  529. Neal: Can the vines reach that far?
  530. tKujo: Then, right while you're looking out the window-!
  531. Badass Golbat: KURUUUUUSHIIIII!
  532. Badass Golbat: *The Golbat rushes right at you!*
  533. Lydia: This joker again?
  534. tKujo: Or at least he would
  535. Lydia: *dives out again*
  536. Lydia: ...
  537. tKujo: But he's suddenly intercepted by a giant hand.
  538. Lydia: *dives DOWN*
  539. Neal: *RIGHT OUT THE BUILDING*
  540. Neal: *GG*
  541. Lydia: « 1d20+5 = 12 + 5 = 17 »
  542. Neal: Hoooooookay, there's that plan out the window.
  543. Neal: Er, I mean, going out the window is out the window
  544. Tuco: This big one's out for blood. It'll probably just keep following us
  545. Neal: the... plan
  546. Neal: you know what nevermind
  547. Messatsu: KUUUREEEESHAAAAAAA
  548. Neal: RUN
  549. Lydia: Where?
  550. Badass Golbat: Bleck!
  551. Tuco: No don't run you idiot it's a damn Golbat
  552. Tuco: He's way faster
  553. Neal: I DON'T KNOW, WE NEVER ROLLED PERCEP
  554. Tuco: Ivysaur, get ready for a Skull Bash
  555. Neal: That golbat just got eaten in case you somehow missed
  556. Lydia: Oh, well, uh, good./
  557. Messatsu: *Yeah it probably ate it*
  558. Lydia: But you know?
  559. Lydia: I've got this STRANGEST FEELING...
  560. Lydia: That we have bigger problems than a Golbat right now!
  561. Tuco: I TOLD YOU it was still out there!
  562. Neal: The worst part is that I can't even disagree
  563. Neal: *so yeah, what does this room look like*
  564. tKujo: The room is the same as usual, with doors in the front AKA, right where the monster is
  565. Messatsu: KORREEEEESHAAAAA *The monster begins to swipe at the building. Better dex check*
  566. Neal: >dex
  567. Neal: (( Why don't I just jump into its mouth ))
  568. Lydia: « 1d20+5 = 19 + 5 = 24 »
  569. Neal: (( save it the effort ))
  570. Lydia: *DEXES RIGHT OUT THE WAY*
  571. Neal: « 1d20-2 = 2 - 2 = 0 » here we go, save or die time
  572. Tuco: *Does not have infinite HP to hippoport*
  573. Lydia: (Y)
  574. Neal: and there you have it folks
  575. Tuco: « 1d20-2 = 15 - 2 = 13 »
  576. Messatsu: *YOU GET GRABBED BY THE MONSTER*
  577. Neal: *inhuman scream*
  578. tKujo: Tuco and Lydia however manage to dodge out of the way. The monster left some signifigant wreckage out of the building.
  579. tKujo: There's now a suitable hole to fall down to.
  580. Tuco: *TELEPORTS down the hole, not onto the gurders on the top of every single floor*
  581. Lydia: Well...
  582. Lydia: Here goes nothing! Same procedure, Eldin!
  583. Lydia: « 1d20+5 = 9 + 5 = 14 »
  584. Messatsu: *Lucky for you though, the monster didn't even notice the fact it grabbed you. It's too busy paying attention to the stragglers.
  585. Messatsu: *
  586. tKujo: You glide down safely, surfing down a sea of falling support beams.
  587. Ivysaur: *Is returned, again*
  588. Neal: ...*oh god it didn't notice me somehow, alright, don't make noise, don't make noise*
  589. Neal: *deep breaths, calm down*
  590. Messatsu: KUUUUUUUUu
  591. Lydia: Let's just keep going down then?
  592. Lydia: « 1d20+5 = 5 + 5 = 10 »
  593. tKujo: You continue to surf down, just barely missing a barrage of falling beams.
  594. Lydia: How tall is this building?!
  595. Messatsu: *The monster swipes the building with the arm that Neal is on. Better grab on tight.*
  596. Neal: « 1d20-2 = 14 - 2 = 12 »
  597. tKujo: You just manage to hold on, and the claw is just levitated over a safe spot.
  598. Neal: *do I REALIZE this*
  599. Lydia: Hey, where'd the big guy go, anyways?
  600. tKujo: You normally wouldn't, but damn are your self-preservation instincts kicking in like a Savate master.
  601. Neal: *oh sweet jesus ground*
  602. Neal: *lets go*
  603. Phatcat is disconnected.
  604. Phatcat is disconnected.
  605. Phatcat has connected.
  606. Tuco: *Obviously continues to shamble down the building*
  607. tKujo: You are now just barely straggling on a few sheets of concrete. The monster is looking about, as it appears to have lost track of you.
  608. tKujo: It seems you can safely climb down from here
  609. Neal: >safely
  610. Neal: you DO realize we roll for this
  611. Neal: right
  612. Lydia: *gets down*
  613. Tuco: *Continues sneaking down, assuming the giant monster will have scared away any fucking bats*
  614. Lydia: « 1d20+5 = 4 + 5 = 9 »
  615. Lydia: *gets on the floor; walks into dinosaur*
  616. Tuco: « 1d20-2 = 7 - 2 = 5 »
  617. tKujo: You manage to slip and fall, but land safely on your feet to a platform out of dumb luck
  618. Neal: *shivers in place for like a full several seconds after being SLAMMED INTO A WALL BY GODZILLA*
  619. Lydia: Haha...guess I'm still a little shaky...
  620. tKujo: Tuco manages to grab onto a beam, but it breaks, leaving him to fall
  621. tKujo: Better roll again
  622. Neal: *climbs down in the hope of ever living a normal life again* « 1d20-2 = 12 - 2 = 10 »
  623. tKujo: Neal manages to climb down, as shaky as he is.
  624. Tuco: « 1d20-2 = 8 - 2 = 6 » *Goes to grab onto anything at all*
  625. tKujo: Tuco is still falling.
  626. Lydia: Let's...
  627. Tuco: *hippoport*
  628. Lydia: Try again... « 1d20+5 = 5 + 5 = 10 »
  629. Eldin: *I unno, can I try an' save her or anythin*
  630. tKujo: Lydia manages to careen her way down. She can now see what appears to be a sole car driving about.
  631. Hilux: Vrooooooom
  632. Lydia: « 1d20+5 = 15 + 5 = 20 »
  633. Lydia: *tries to CUSHION FALL WITH A CAR
  634. Lydia: *
  635. tKujo: Lydia safely lands on the car.
  636. Hilux: H-hey! Goddamn debris!
  637. Tuco: *Dex check to slide down a pole to the ground hippo* « 1d20-2 = 20 - 2 = 18 »
  638. Hilux: Shit! Is someone there!? It's sorta hard to hear with all this ruckus!
  639. Lydia: Arrrhh.. That wasn't the brightest of ideas...
  640. Tuco: *Runs up and bangs on door* Let us in and drive the hell away from here!
  641. Neal: You know, this whole day has been nothing but falling.
  642. Neal: What's one more.
  643. Lydia: *clings onto car since it's probably moving*
  644. Hilux: Eh? *The car stops and rolls down it's windows*
  645. Lydia: Well they're not leaving ME behind, anyways!
  646. Neal: *dangles off edge to minimize fall distance, drops* « 1d20-2 = 10 - 2 = 8 »
  647. Prof. Chiba: Who's there? Can't you see I'm a bit preoccupied here?
  648. Prof. Chiba: Aw shit, this was probably a bad idea anyway....
  649. Lydia: No? I can only really see that giant monster over there!
  650. tKujo: Neal lands on his butt, taking « 1d6 = 6 » damage.
  651. Neal: Oof.
  652. Prof. Chiba: *Throws away cigarette* Anyway, I assume you'd appreciate a ride?
  653. Lydia: Yes, preferably IN the car, not ON it.
  654. Neal: (How can he be so casual about this??_
  655. Lydia: Guess that'
  656. Neal: __
  657. Tuco: *Just goes to shuffle past him, still in survival mode, to drive the fucking car himself*
  658. Lydia: s what I get for depending on Gligar...
  659. Prof. Chiba: Hop on in and hold onto your asses tight. This is gonna be one hell of a bumpy ri-
  660. tKujo: Tuco tries to shove Chiba aside, but he has his seatbelt on. I assume he just drives the thing while sitting on Chiba's lap.
  661. Neal: Hey, pull yourself together, man! This guy's offering a ride, least you can do is show the slightest amount of gratitude.
  662. Lydia: *tries to open car door with foot and slide in*
  663. Lydia: « 1d20+5 = 18 + 5 = 23 »
  664. Tuco: LESS TALK MORE DRIVE.
  665. Lydia: *YOU BET THAT DOOR'S GETTIN OPEN*
  666. Lydia: *RETURNS ELDIN*
  667. Neal: Fine, fine. Thanks, then.
  668. Prof. Chiba: BWOOOF! OH GOD MY BACK!
  669. Tuco: *Drives the car to the precise location of ANYWHERE BUT HERE*
  670. Lydia: How come I'm in the back seat?
  671. Neal: Because that's where you got in.
  672. Lydia: I got jipped.
  673. Neal: (( gypped? ))
  674. Neal: (( no ide ))
  675. Neal: (( a ))
  676. Messatsu: *With Tuco's clumsy driving, he pushes over a few rocks that catches the attention of Godzilla here*
  677. Messatsu: KUUUUUUUSHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
  678. Neal: DRIVE, YOU!
  679. Tuco: *FLOOR IT/10*
  680. Lydia: NICE DRIVING, JACK
  681. Messatsu: *The monster is now CHASING AFTER YOU*
  682. Lydia: GO!
  683. Lydia: GO GO GO!
  684. Neal: Look, I'm really sorry about thi- WOULD YOU JUST SLAM THAT FOOT TO THE GROUND AND GET US OUT OF HERE- really, it's just kind of a stressful situation for all of us
  685. tKujo: You drive onto a giant open road, then drive up a levitated highway.
  686. tKujo: Oh no! The highway is out!
  687. tKujo: You drive forward, breaking a few WARNING! Signs.
  688. Neal: This is just one improbable situation after another.
  689. Tuco: *DOES INDEED JUST DRIVE OFF THE EDGE IF NECESSARY BECAUSE FUCKING GODZILLA*
  690. Neal: *YOU WOULD*
  691. tKujo: You go flying out, across the broken edge and just barely managing to make it across.
  692. Messatsu: KURUSHIIDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA *The monster fires a gigantic Hyper Beam!*
  693. Neal: >HYPER BEAM
  694. Neal: >YOU'RE SHITTING M
  695. Neal: >EEE
  696. Lydia: SUMBITCH WHAT
  697. tKujo: The beam just barely misses you, but hits a nearby building.
  698. Tuco: *DRIFTS TO SIDE TO GET OUT OF FUCKING HYPER BEAM*
  699. tKujo: The debris rains atop you like a hailstorm. You can hear some pelting the roof of the car.
  700. Lydia: I've never been so glad for such a sturdily-constructed car.
  701. Neal: (( « 7d10+28 = 19 + 28 = 47 » ))
  702. tKujo: You travel forth throughout the highway, but the debris has now knocked down a nearby building. The building falls down like a rock, and now stands in the way of your car
  703. Tuco: (How much space is made after the jump we made?)
  704. Unknown command: "oox plus special attack ob- OBV". Try /help for a list of commands.
  705. Tuco: (It still following?)
  706. Neal: (( plus special attack obv ))
  707. tKujo: However, it seems you can try and floor it to drive through the window.
  708. tKujo: It is still trying to follow you, and doesn't appear to be letting his sight go for a while.
  709. tKujo: It's now about a quarter of a mile away
  710. Tuco: *Car has taken plenty of rubble, just drives through the damn window*
  711. Neal: *buries head in hands* Just go for it.
  712. tKujo: You drive through the window of the broken building. You just manage to drift along the walls, the various equipment raining down on you and cracking your windshield.
  713. tKujo: You break through the other side of the building, but now you're falling onto the road!
  714. tKujo: Not much you can do though, so you just take the rough landing.
  715. tKujo: About 20 feet high you were.
  716. Prof. Chiba: *Chiba is now just about knocked out at this point*
  717. Prof. Chiba: *He basically was the moment you sat your fat ass on him*
  718. Tuco: *Does just drive when it is 20 foot drop*
  719. Neal: (( naw, let's get some swerving here ))
  720. tKujo: The road begins to elevate some more, going quite high up this time.
  721. Lydia: *bounces, hits head on ceiling* ARGH! Suddenly I wish this wasn't so sturdily-constructed!
  722. Tuco: Oh so you'd rather we fuckin' exploded on impact then?!
  723. tKujo: However, KURAASH! The monster intercepts the road, lifting it far higher than any sane man would ever dare!
  724. tKujo: You go FLYING out into the distance, and into a nearby building.
  725. Lydia: Well, at least we won't have to climb down THIS one.
  726. Lydia: We'll be too dead.
  727. Neal: IT KEEPS HAPPENING
  728. tKujo: So likewise, you drift about trying to get to the other side. Though it is a pretty damn wide building, so it might take a while.
  729. tKujo: Hey, it seems to be a mall in fact.
  730. tKujo: Well that's nice, how about OH GOD, A GIANT HAND JUST PIERCED THROUGH THE WALL AND JUST BARELY MISSED YOU.
  731. Lydia: JUST KEEP DRIVING
  732. Neal: ...well this is sort of calming, except for that hand there. How are you all doing tonight, apart from the whole adrenaline-fueled chase?
  733. Lydia: Not that you have any CHOICE, but it feels good to say it!
  734. Tuco: THE FUCK DO YOU THINK I'M GOING TO DO?!
  735. Lydia: Die, most likely.
  736. Tuco: ISN'T THERE ANYBODY ELSE TO EAT ON THIS STUPID ISLAND?!
  737. Messatsu: KURUSSHIIII *You're pelted with more hands from every side, just barely managing to scrape your car*
  738. Lydia: What are you, a cannibal now?
  739. Neal: Technically, that's "what," not "how," but I'll take i- JESUS, alright.
  740. Tuco: WHY DO YOU EVEN CARE OH MY GOD AAAAHHHHHHHH
  741. tKujo: You drive all the way down, finally reaching the ground floor. You barely miss the monster's giant foot trying to kick your teeth in.
  742. tKujo: You finally drive out of the mall, and it appears the monster has now lost you, as it continues to rapid fire fist the mall.
  743. Neal: Hey, if you're GOING TO DIE, you might as well know the people you're dying with
  744. Neal: because YES
  745. Lydia: Huh, maybe it just hates malls?
  746. Neal: WE ARE GOING TO DIE
  747. tKujo: Driving for a few minutes has now confirmed this. You are home free at last.
  748. Lydia: Not anymore, apparently!
  749. Neal: ...
  750. Neal: well alright
  751. Lydia: So, uh, biggun, you might want to get your ass off the ORIGINAL driver of the car now.
  752. Tuco: *CONTINUES DRIVING THE FUCK AWAY FROM THE CITY UNTIL CANNOT SEE GODZILLA*
  753. Neal: Well, nothing a couple of muscle relaxers can't fix
  754. tKujo: You drive off into the distance, now onto a rainy highway.
  755. tKujo: Thankfully Godzilla is now but a dot.
  756. Lydia: Okay, seriously. I think he might already be dead.
  757. Tuco: *Goes to pull over from the side of the road and gets out of damn car*
  758. Tuco: *Pulls doctor's corpse out of the car*
  759. Tuco: *After deep breaths, inspects corpse*
  760. Prof. Chiba: *The professor just manages to catch his breath after being tossed out*
  761. Lydia: *gets out of car* Is he okay?
  762. Prof. Chiba: KUUUUUH! Phwuuuh....the hell are your hands all over me for?!
  763. Prof. Chiba: Do you think this is some kind of goddamn game!?
  764. Tuco: Well if you'd taken notice of the GIANT MONSTER KILLING US ALL I wouldn't have had to do that
  765. Lydia: I HOPE it is!
  766. Lydia: PLEASE tell me it's some kind of goddamn game!
  767. Neal: Look, again, we're sorry about that. Are you alright?
  768. Neal: I imagine... that must have been somewhat uncomfortable.
  769. Prof. Chiba: *Dusts self off* Well, I know for sure I'm takin' a shower once I get home.
  770. Neal: Eh, it's kind of raining.
  771. Prof. Chiba: Truth be told, my daughter is probably gonna kill me once I get back anyway. Never thought I'd run into something like that...thing far out here.
  772. tKujo: You saw about one car moving about. It looked very roughed up and slapped together.
  773. tKujo: You may have seen a few guns and rabid attack Pokemon hanging out the windows.
  774. Neal: What on earth WAS that thing, anyway?
  775. Lydia: Do we really, really need to know?
  776. Tuco: Your daughter'll kill you. . .If she's even still alive.
  777. Tuco: THat place was practically a ghost town
  778. Prof. Chiba: *Lights another cigarette* Machina Deus most likely.
  779. Neal: ...
  780. Prof. Chiba: Maybe you've heard of them.
  781. Neal: of course.
  782. Prof. Chiba: In case you didn't notice, there seems to be a giant MD stronghold in the city we were just at.
  783. Lydia: Not any more there's not.
  784. Prof. Chiba: No real way to get in, just like all the other goddamn buildings, but it's worth checking.
  785. Neal: We could try driving a car into it.
  786. Lydia: No, no it's NOT worth checking! I'm not going back!
  787. Prof. Chiba: We tried.
  788. Prof. Chiba: Either way, seemed to have been a bad time.
  789. Tuco: Is there a reason the monster hasn't just destroyed this place too?
  790. Tuco: When it was so OBSESSED with killing us?
  791. Lydia: Maybe its lady friend lives near here.
  792. Prof. Chiba: Probably no real reason. Any MD stronghold tends to just make things appear into existance.
  793. Prof. Chiba: Some of the quacks back home say they pull them from different dimensions.
  794. Prof. Chiba: Others say they just spawn the damn things themselves.
  795. Prof. Chiba: Either way, I don't fuckin' like it.
  796. Tuco: Well yeah, if they're making abominations to slaughter entire cities I'd be a little bit pissed too
  797. Neal: Slightly peeved, yes.
  798. Lydia: I think I'd just...stay away from those cities.
  799. Tuco: Oh yeah, fuck the people who live there. They can just die.
  800. Neal: Looks like they did.
  801. Prof. Chiba: Doesn't matter. That city was abandoned long ago in the first place.
  802. Tuco: ...
  803. Lydia: Well, yeah, that was pretty obvious. There weren't any dead people around.
  804. Prof. Chiba: Tsuen ain't exactly what it used to be. Most of the big city bigwigs moved the hell out decades ago.
  805. Lydia: Or ANY people.
  806. Neal: So what, it's just a stomping ground for the Deus?
  807. Tuco: How do they even keep something that big in there? Is the city just his playpen?
  808. Prof. Chiba: The population is much smaller now, but nobody has knocked the remains of what used to be there. Just because.
  809. Lydia: It sure seems that they're knocking them now...
  810. Prof. Chiba: So it all just sits there, completely empty. It's like something straight out of some shoddily-programmed computer game.
  811. Prof. Chiba: *Throws out cigarette, lights a new one* Well, let's get outta this place before any more wise guys find their way here.
  812. Prof. Chiba: And this time, I'm driving. Oh Arceus am I driving this time.
  813. Lydia: Shotgun!
  814. Tuco: Well you live here, right? Where are the cities that are, y'know, actually USED? By humans? Not a bunch of freaks in white coats?
  815. Lydia: *gets in front seat before that ASSHAT Neal does*
  816. Neal: Guess we're rotating then.
  817. Tuco: *Stuffs his fat ass into the back*
  818. Prof. Chiba: I don't live anywhere near this hell hole. I'm stationed all the way in Yeong'weon, hopefully abomination-free.
  819. tKujo: You drive far into the dark, dreary distance, reaching a sizable settlement of cities. Thankfully there are actually people around.
  820. tKujo: Chiba parks his car somewhere off, and invites you to his lab.
  821. Prof. Chiba: Ghr, outta smokes. Just great...
  822. Neal: (( looks like you've got one right there in your mouth ))
  823. tKujo: Around his lab, some poindexters are slamming their fingers onto keyboards at a furious pace.
  824. Neal: (( Bayfinder indeed ))
  825. Neal: (( disturbing how close that is to Baywatch ))
  826. Neal: (( Baywatch, Bayfind ))
  827. Neal: (( this is just the sequel ))
  828. tKujo: It has all the usual markings of a Pokemon lab. Some computers, large amounts of machinery, loads of papers strewn about on the floor.
  829. Neal: (( now where's David motherfucking Hasselhoff ))
  830. Lydia: (( hte Germans stole him ))
  831. Neal: (( sad ))
  832. Miller: Gah! Chiba! Where the hell were you!?
  833. Miller: We were looking for you everywhere!
  834. Prof. Chiba: Yeah, yeah, you probably heard the drill. Don't worry, I'm still in one piece.
  835. Lydia: Somehow.
  836. Neal: It was... a bit of a drive.
  837. Tuco: Yeah. A bit.
  838. Tuco: *
  839. Miller: I told you going all the way out there was a terrible idea!
  840. Miller: Machina Deus has finally stopped messing around....
  841. Prof. Chiba: Truth be told, I can't tell if they expected me or just fuckin' around as usual.
  842. Neal: Terrible idea or not, we're pretty lucky that he was there.
  843. Prof. Chiba: Either way, I'm alive, as much as these guys tried their damnest to invalidate this fact.
  844. Lydia: Yeah, but the whole plane crash and the giant monster? I think that cancels it out.
  845. Prof. Chiba: Speaking of, how the hell did you guys wind up there anyway?
  846. Tuco: Well yeah, that'll happen when Aggzilla back there takes down our damn plane.
  847. Prof. Chiba: Are you some kind of wandering outlaws?
  848. Lydia: *GETS OUTTA THE DAMNED CAR ALREADY*
  849. Neal: *We're in the LAB*
  850. Tuco: ^
  851. Neal: *I assume we got out ages ago*
  852. Miller: (( whatevs ))
  853. Lydia: *WE DROVE IN HERE*
  854. Tuco: ^
  855. Miller: (( YOU CRASHED YOUR CAR RIGHT INTO THE LAB ))
  856. Neal: *whatever, the professor did it*
  857. Neal: *I guess it's cool*
  858. Miller: Gee, I'd hope not! Or you'd be discharged for even more reckless behavior than usual!
  859. Tuco: Well I dunno about these guys, but I was comin' here for (Tourney). We were flyin' overhead when he knocked us out of the sky.
  860. Neal: Yeah, I was heading there myself.
  861. Prof. Chiba: ....
  862. Lydia: I'm certainly no outlaw. I think those other guys on the plane were trying, but failing.
  863. Prof. Chiba: .....tourney?
  864. Prof. Chiba: Oh! OH!
  865. Lydia: Oh, and there's that.
  866. Prof. Chiba: So you're THOSE guys! The ones I must have sent my requests to, right?
  867. Prof. Chiba: Ah screw it, I assume you forgot all about it by now.
  868. Neal: Requests? Eh?
  869. Lydia: Uh, yeah.
  870. Neal: http://pastebin.com/zpJjqih0
  871. Prof. Chiba: Well, it's a good thing I caught at least 3 of you.
  872. Neal: ...right, wow, I'd forgotten all about that with everything that's gone on today.
  873. Tuco: It's easier if you just pretend we got off the plane and nothing happened.
  874. Prof. Chiba: Here's the rundown. I really need you to enter this contest, as messed up as it may seem.
  875. Prof. Chiba: Researching the goings-on of the MD corperation has been killing me for the past year or so.
  876. Tuco: I wonder why.
  877. Prof. Chiba: So suddenly they just up and run a contest for trainers? Just like that? It's madness!
  878. Lydia: They do seem pretty mad.
  879. Tuco: We really have to let the rest of the world know what they're capable of.
  880. Prof. Chiba: Sadly, I tried to get a few men on the case, but every possible location is just locked out to ANYONE besides a specific archetype of people.
  881. Prof. Chiba: That is, Trainers or anyone who recieved a specific invite.
  882. Lydia: And participants fall into this?
  883. Prof. Chiba: Certain trainers at least.
  884. Neal: A specific invite?
  885. Neal: Well, you invited us, can't you issue invites to those other people you want to send?
  886. Tuco: What? You don't have any proof of the existence of those monsters or something?
  887. Neal: As... backwards as that is?
  888. Prof. Chiba: The damn corperation has an agenda all it's own. It knows just who to let in, and who to force out, just to maximize it's entertainment.
  889. Prof. Chiba: Nope, mine was a seperate invite. Didn't you recieve an entirely different paper before?
  890. Neal: (( Maybe? ))
  891. Prof. Chiba: I mean geez, how did you even find out about this whole shindig then? I mean, word of mouth probably, but....
  892. Prof. Chiba: Eh, whatever. It doesn't matter.
  893. Lydia: I for one got an invite, yes.
  894. Tuco: So why exactly did you get us again?
  895. Tuco: Because I don't feel like infiltrating an organization that can make THAT thing back there.
  896. Tuco: I just got out.
  897. Prof. Chiba: Don't worry, I assume you won't run into anything like that if you go the proper direction MD wants you to take.
  898. Prof. Chiba: Seems the thing just exists as a way to control the boundaries.
  899. Prof. Chiba: From what we've seen, MD just wants to play a game. It doesn't want to hurt anyone just yet.
  900. Lydia: You'd think someone would notice it or something. Though that brings the question of why it attacked a plane carrying participants.
  901. Lydia: Maybe they don't have any control over the thing.
  902. Tuco: Why would it even produce something of that magnitude if it doesn't want to hurt anybody?
  903. Tuco: What if they decide to unleash that thing on the world?
  904. Tuco: Huh?
  905. Prof. Chiba: Overcompensating.
  906. Prof. Chiba: Either way, I'm sure you know the drill. Follow the assigned route, and do whatever you trainer kids do nowadays. But most of all, I want you to collect information on this goddamn corperation for me.
  907. Prof. Chiba: I should have some equipment for you out back. Think my daughter was using it....
  908. Tuco: I will if they're really as fucked up as you say, but don't expect me to stick out my neck too far. (Or at all.)
  909. Lydia: Eh, how would we even go about that? Just because I'm wearing black, that doesn't mean I'm some kind of spy.
  910. Prof. Chiba: Just act perfectly natural. I'll have a say whether or not to bail.
  911. Prof. Chiba: Among them, try to study how the trainers and everyone within MD's borders are acting. There's also been a bizarre slew of disappearances that went on right when this silly party started.
  912. Tuco: So you gonna actually give us any instruction other than "Oh keep an eye out"? *Mocking hand motions/immitating tone*
  913. Tuco: *Obv said before*
  914. Tuco: Did they involve plane crashes?
  915. Prof. Chiba: If I could give you further instruction, hoo boy would I.
  916. Prof. Chiba: But I ain't studying these creeps just for the hell of it, am I?
  917. Prof. Chiba: If I KNEW how to handle these weirdos, I wouldn't be studying them in the first place!
  918. Tuco: Have you considered
  919. Tuco: Oh, say, I don't know, getting some video footage of a monster like that one back there
  920. Tuco: and showing it to the outside world?
  921. Prof. Chiba: Where IS my goddamn daughter anyway?
  922. Lydia: So we just try not to get attacked by giant monsters?
  923. Prof. Chiba: Eh? Oh, video footage of that thing is already out.
  924. Prof. Chiba: It just managed to upload, but its out for sure. It sure is a giant monster.
  925. Lydia: So, what, does everyone just think it's fake?
  926. Neal: Wouldn't you?
  927. Lydia: Not anymore, no.
  928. Miller: Eh? I think she's in her room, tinkering with some nonsense. Haven't seen her go out in a while.
  929. Prof. Chiba: Guh. I'll go check on her. Just you wait your asses.
  930. Miller: Phew. It sure has been rough today...so, how are you fellows feeling?
  931. Tuco: Terrible.
  932. Lydia: Compared to a few hours ago, I feel pretty good.
  933. Miller: Same here big man. I tells you, sometimes you just wanna run off and be the lead singer of a sub-par indie band.
  934. Neal: Still a bit shaken, to be quite honest.
  935. Lydia: Please don't do that.
  936. Tuco: .....
  937. Miller: You'd think a run-down has-been area like Tsuen would be the safest place in the world...
  938. Lydia: The homeless can be cranky.
  939. Miller: But noooo, the threads of fate just aren't about to let that happen. Now we have punks roaming the streets, and psychotic alien corperations stomping about like it's their playground.
  940. Miller: It just isn't fair I sa-
  941. Prof. Chiba: MILLER!
  942. Tuco: Yeah. . .But we -should- be safe -for now-. You got some place for us to-
  943. Prof. Chiba: WHERE THE HEL- HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THIS!? HOW DID YOU NOT SEE HER!?
  944. Miller: See her? Her what?
  945. Lydia: What's going on NOW?
  946. Prof. Chiba: *Holds up a sheet of paper* THIS!
  947. Miller: Huh? *Adjusts glasses*
  948. Tuco: The doc's surprised has daughter was taken on monster island.
  949. Tuco: *his
  950. Miller: "Gone to Black Dorado, I will save Garen by any means..."
  951. Lydia: *too far away to read it most likely* « 1d20 = 6 »
  952. Prof. Chiba: BLACK MOTHERFUCKING DORADO!
  953. Lydia: *yep*
  954. Miller: Oh, isn't that like....
  955. Prof. Chiba: It's a damn hellhole! A death sentance for a girl like her!
  956. Prof. Chiba: What the shit is- Garen! That's why!
  957. Lydia: What's why?
  958. Prof. Chiba: Garen! A punk my daughter has been seeing out and about for the past month.
  959. Prof. Chiba: I knew I couldn't trust that....
  960. Miller: Aw geez, well that's...
  961. Prof. Chiba: Alright, that's it! I'm gonna...
  962. Tuco: Well that sucks for you. Unfortunately we can only do so much as tourney goers. . .(Not letting him push this on me.)
  963. Lydia: Huh? From that, it sounds like she's going to HELP the guy, right? How's he supposed to do anything if he's caught himself?
  964. Prof. Chiba: *Takes a step forward* Gruh! My...argh, my back...
  965. Miller: Eh? You okay prof?
  966. Prof. Chiba: Y-yeah, think I may have cracked something before...
  967. Prof. Chiba: Aw geez, think the pain is just now starting to catch up to me.
  968. Neal: Hey, hold on now, I thought you were alright?
  969. Miller: Aw crap, this doesn't look good at all!
  970. Miller: How are you even standing? You're in no position at all to go all the way out to Black Dorado!
  971. Prof. Chiba: Grh, delayed pain is a bitch...
  972. Lydia: He got sat on by the biggest guy here, it'd be a wonder if he was just dandy after that.
  973. Miller: Guess it all just rushed up to you once you heard the news huh?
  974. Lydia: Not even counting the whole car chase thing.
  975. Prof. Chiba: Fffuuu....
  976. Tuco: Did you see his sorry ass lollygagging around lookin' at the sights?
  977. Prof. Chiba: You guys! You gotta help! I'm asking, no, DEMANDING you or SOMEONE to go get dear Juri out of that place!
  978. Miller: Erm, I'm still caught up in some paperwork you see....
  979. Lydia: Well, it'd better be someone who knows where it is.
  980. Lydia: Just for reference, I don't...
  981. Tuco: And how do you expect us to do that?
  982. Tuco: Why don't you, say, show us your strongest Pokemon. I'll bet you it's stronger than ours.
  983. Prof. Chiba: Ergh. *Puts hand into pocket, reaches out for something*
  984. Prof. Chiba: *Takes out sheet of paper* Here, this should be a decent enough map. It's what I used to drive all the way out there.
  985. Prof. Chiba: It's a bit crumpled up and stained to all hell, but it'll get the job done.
  986. Prof. Chiba: I'd love to give you some of my Pokemon, but I'm not sure if they'd even think of obeying you, even if I ordered them to...
  987. Prof. Chiba: Could be worth a shot I guess.
  988. Lydia: Why not give them to one of your scientists?
  989. Tuco: . . .Are they just too powerful?
  990. Neal: (( what, do YOU have gym badges? ))
  991. Prof. Chiba: They're stubborn, just like their master I guess, heheh.
  992. Neal: (( because I don't ))
  993. Tuco: (( I do not. ))
  994. Tuco: (( I should be able to buy badges ))
  995. Lydia: (( I got nothin ))
  996. Lydia: Yeah, you're stubborn...not to go.
  997. Lydia: How bad IS this place?
  998. Tuco: I just got out of a plane crash.
  999. Tuco: I'll stay here and rest the night, thanks.
1000. Prof. Chiba: Buncha low-level punks mostly. But they'd tear my daughter to shreds if they got their dirty hands on her...
1001. Lydia: So what, you're gonna send another girl in there to save her?
1002. Miller: Right, you probably should all rest just a little bit...
1003. Prof. Chiba: REST? We have no time for that!
1004. Miller: Now now, maybe your back will be better if you just sleep it off.
