Pokémon Let's Go, Eevee! Any% Speedrun (Butterfree)

Q: What are you trying to do?
A: I am trying to beat Pokemon Let's Go, Eevee! as fast as possible with Butterfree as the primary pokemon, using Eevee as the secondary pokemon for the first half and Kabutops in the second half.

Q: What is your best time?
A: No best time yet from me, but wartab did a blind Butterfree run on 12/08/18 with a time of 5:11:53. In regards to practice, my time is looking at around 4:30:00 as I have not had much time to sit down and practice the mechanics of the game as much as I would like

Q: What is the World Record?
A: Official WR is 3:04:27 by Headstrong1290 on September 6th, 2019

Q: What do the colors on the PokéDex Counter mean?
A: White = Do not own | Black = Owned | Blue = Do not own, but can evolve into

Q: Why are you doing Butterfree instead of anything else that seems to be 1000 times faster?
A: I made a joke in a chat that a Butterfree speedrun would be hilarious for them to try out, and I started considering it more and more, and I felt that with proper calculations and routing, it could work and be quite fast. With the addition of 2C being allowed for the Any% route, I felt that Butterfree would be a lot easier than with just 1C, which was the original plan with this route back in December of 2018. Also considering they added Category Extensions into the PSR community, I felt it was finally time to work on this

Q: What is your goal?
A: My goal time is 3:45:00 or lower. I expect to hit that after a few runs and getting comfortable with the mechanics/movements themselves. The route is also not fully optimized, but I am currently working on that

Q: Are you trolling?
A: Nope! This is not as bad as other run ideas that have been tested/thought about.
