  1. Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu!/Eevee! Co-op Catch 'em All F.A.Q.
  2.
  3. Q: What are you trying to do?
  4. A: Kerbis54 and I are trying to catch all 150 Pokémon in both Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! as fast as we can. I'll be playing Eevee and he will be playing Pikachu
  5.
  6. Q: What is your best time?
  7. A: Our best time together is 5:08:38. Kerbis54 has a faster time (5:04:00) with jyash4
  8.
  9. Q: What is the World Record?
  10. A: The World Record time is 5:03:06 by JokerSleeps and jyash4
  11.
  12. Q: That's not you!
  13. A: I know :(
  14.
  15. Q: Where can you save time?
  16. A: General route improvements and cleaner catches should be able to save us quite a bit of time
  17.
  18. Q: How are you going to get the Version Exclusives and Trade Evolutions?
  19. A: By trading! Since Let's Go is on the Nintendo Switch, we have the ability to trade over the internet with each other. This will allow us to send stuff back and forth with each other. We're not shooting for a living dex, so just owning the Pokémon at one point and registering it in the Poké Dex is good enough
  20.
  21. Q: What are the trouble Pokémon to catch?
  22. A: Honestly, there aren't really any trouble ones. The biggest hurdles are going to be the rare encounters (Pinsir, Scyther, Kangaskhan, etc). There's really no grinding that is needed as the game gives us a lot of things to help with that, like mandatory EXP Share and an egregious amount of Rare Candies (nearly 40!) across the two games
  23.
  24. Q: What's the general route behind the run?
  25. A: Since time ends on the Diploma rather than when we beat the Elite 4 or something, only one game actually has to complete the game. We abuse this fact by having one game (Eevee) rush through a modified Any% route to beat the game and get to Cerulean Cave (for Mewtwo/Lickitung) as fast as possible. The other game (Pikachu) will be running a modified All Obtainables route and doing a lot more catches. Hopefully the time it takes for Eevee to beat the game and catch the few Post-Game Pokémon that it needs will be about the same amount of time that it takes for Pikachu to run around and catch everything in some of the optional dungeons like Power Plant and Seafoam, however we do have some contingencies in place if one game finishes everything before the other
  26.
  27. Q: This is awesome!
  28. A: I know!
