- It was a hard couple of months after that. What was he? 4, or 5 years old at the time? Surviving on an already ruined planet. Every tuffle child most likely had read up on the history of their planet-- and how it had been beautiful before the Saiyans arrived.
- It was a harsh life. Surviving off the most basic things he could get ahold of. But he grew strong enough to live on his own.
- Once in a while, the tuffle child would encounter alien refugees, or tuffle slaves, or nomadic tribes, or even just average low-class saiyan workers. But everyone had their own things to deal with, what with their planet going to hell. They had their own families and friends to think of, and the little boy went unnoticed.
- Sometimes, you can't help but think what might of been--- had Altan been shown kindness earlier on in his life. His experiences with... people... had been distant and cold in his early childhood, and then more conflict-heavy as he grew older. Negative experiences, all around. The first time he'd ever been shown a sliver of empathy was whena heran pirate, Gorilla D. Ace, had stepped up and fought on his behalf-- against a redheaded devil on Arconia.
- Speaking of which, Arconia happened to be the next destination.
