  1. Butterfly warrior Cheeks turned pink by the gesture, did respond with a smile. "I feel pretty great. We can spar anytime, Aleria."
  2.
  3. VanCyndar Aleria would stare for a moment before looking down to the arena. "I mean, we could do so now, if you'd like... Pretty sure most people are currently... distracted."
  4.
  5. Butterfly warrior Thought for a second...and gave an excited nod. "Yeah... we shall gave a sparring match now" Flexed both arms and showed a wide grin. "Specially that I feel a lot better now!"
  6.
  7. VanCyndar "Of course... Plus I'm pretty sure I evesdro- overheard Preacher saying something about spending this time to spar, right?~" She'd say as she stepped on over to go grab her gear.
  8.
  9. Butterfly warrior Stared at her and laughed a little, did cover her laugh using one hand. She had everything with her. She stood up and started to walk to the arena. "Indeed. But is also for a promise I give you. Wouldn't be a woman of my word if I don't follow my word."
  10.
  11. VanCyndar "Aye, fair enough... Uh, I'll be down in a bit... Have to find one of Alex's stupid knights first and pinch the chest-piece... Mine got... shattered." The wolfess would grumble before making her way to the back halls of the Colosseum. "Uh, feel free to make the arena more comfortable if you wish!"
  12.
  13. Butterfly warrior Nodded. Hmmm... Marth excitement and nervousness slowly started to conquer her as she set foot on the arena. Sandy..It was perfect for her the way it was. Kicked the ground, dust and sand particles moving up into the small breeze. "Just like this is fine..." Whispered. The blue haired woman started to stretch her arms, to many sick days had her all stiff, needed to loosen up.
  14.
  15. VanCyndar After stealing one of the Colosseum knight's chest-pieces the wolfess would then use that knight to help her don her breaching armour, soon enough re-emerging (https://i.imgur.com/kfN4dNb.png) - Ignore the guns) into the stands to make her way down to the arena. Vaulting the railing she'd land a bit away from Marth, rising to her full height, brandishing a heater shield and an arming sword, a few serrated teeth on the edge facing away from her. "Standard Colosseum stone huh..?" She'd comment before setting her attention firmly onto her opponent. The steel and iron plating made the wolfess nigh impenetrable from the front, though it'd take only a bit of looking to see that the only thing guarding her lower back was her padded under-armour. "On your ready then, Marth!"
  16.
  17. Butterfly warrior The small breeze moved her blue cape, had a calm expression on her features yet internally was panicking. Took deep breathes, inhaling and exhaling softly to regulate her heart. Marth stood straight, left feet slightly on the back as her right side showed. Alright... Slowly she sheathed her Falchion holding the grip tightly with her right hand only, for now. The pointy edge of the sword face don near the ground, left arm slightly bent pressing her own ribs. Inhaled and exhaled once more, her body was still tensed and stiff really needed to lose up and relax. Caught the figure of the armor wolfless, quite impressive armor. Blue eyes focused on her, not backing down. Her right hand slowly raised showing her Falchion right in front of her across her body, a defensive stand to protect her chest and stomach. One last inhale...Gave a nod to Van. "I am ready, Aleria" Expressed firmly, bending her knees a little, ready to slide or jump for the first attack.
  18.
  19. VanCyndar The wolfess would give a nod of her head before lowering her stance, she'd bend her left arm, using her shield to guard her direct left side while her right arm would hold her blade out. Ready, Aleria would begin to march on Marth, closing the distance with heavy footfalls against the stone ground, her head would tilt slightly, allowing her a crystal clear view of Marth through the holes of her helmet, watching, trying to figure out how exactly this one fought... If Marth had not made a move Aleria would close the remaining distance with a small leap, pushing off with her right foot as her right arm swung back, and upon landing on her left foot that blade would come sweeping in an arc coming from Aleria's right side, the attack aimed roughly at Marth's midriff.
  20.
  21. Butterfly warrior Hmmm..Eyes furrowed as the nod was made. The ground echoed with each step Van took towards her. First attack, Marth would slide quickly to the back and to the opposite side of the blow. Now both hands moved to hold her sword tightly, keeping the cover on her right side. Did know she couldn't wait for an attack, had to move and think at the same time. Happened before, overthinking the situation was always the enemy of the petite blue mercenary. Had to come out with a plan. The biggest issue was her lack of cover. In comparison, Marth only had cover with steal armor on her shoulders, that was all. On the other side...The wolfless was mostly shielded by the armor. Had to look for a weak spot. Quickly her legs moved, running towards Aleria, gave a swing to her Falchion left to right intending to hit the armor, focusing on the chest area. Needed to see the strength of it and how capable was her sword against that it. If it did hit her... she could maybe, JUST crack part of it.
  22.
  23. VanCyndar Coming to a complete rest with her right foot forward Aleria would find that her attack had missed, though she had lured Marth to her left where her shield would prove more effective, she pivoted herself to face the combatant, shifting her right foot back into a sturdy stance. In all honesty Aleria hadn't expected the other to come charging directly at her, causing that shield to move to her front and her sword to drop down low. Using her shield to block the swing with a thunderous crash Aleria would follow up by shoving herself forwards with her right foot, attempting to use her shield to pin Marth's Left arm to her body, continuing her path forwards in hopes of throwing her off balance.
  24.
  25. Butterfly warrior The crash of her sword to the shield echoed and shocked her, felt her body vibrating by the clash. Her full body felt discomfort and ache. Ugh. Muttered a small groan. Both eyes closed by the sound and sensation... Took her time to move out. Had to think of something. Her feet landed on the ground right in front and left on the back and planted steady about to give another swing using now only her right hand to move her sword, wouldn't give a rest...that was her mistake. Having one hand up and left a little extended to have balance as her hips twirl -but her shield took her by surprise. Didn't matter how she was standing. In one second, she was on the ground. Her back of the head give a small hit, didn't had time to try and avoid it. Delivered a small grunt, knew she couldn't lay there like nothing. No. First thing she could think, used her sword to cover herself, at least her core. Just in case she wanted to deliver a hit while she was on the ground. Quickly rolled on the ground and tried to stand up, shaky and swinging her body showing her unbalanced stance. Kept the sword near and used as a shield for now. Frowned and panted looking at Aleria... Was expecting her next movement...
  26.
  27. VanCyndar Aleria would grunt out as she felt the impact of her shield against Marth, the lack of resistance and the sound of a body hitting the stone ground confirming her thoughts that she had been toppled, and a lack of armour left the girl vulnerable. Aleria would shutter forwards, shield moving back slightly more to her left. Like a predator she'd loom over the other, attempting to encourage her to surrender now, though when Marth rolled herself over the wolfess would take the opportunity while she was on her stomach to jump atop her, that shield of hers aiming to slam against Marth's upper left arm while her sword would attempt to stab the blue-haired warrior's right elbow.
  28.
  29. Butterfly warrior Need to move...-- A sharp pain slowly came across her arm and spread thru her body. Didn't scream, gave a soft groan, her good arm was down. There was not time to stop, not now. Marth stood in four first, and with her left elbow pushed the wolfless at least to make some distance and have a chance to stand from the ground. Couldn't stay there forever. Red drops slowly started to stain the brown ground... Now her Falchion was on her left hand...Felt odd and weird... Was not used to fight with her left... Yet, there was still fire coming from her soul showing in her eyes...It wasn't time to give up. Marth ran once more towards Aleria, sliding her her Falchion thru the air a little shaky but strongly...If she moved fast enough her Falchion would be pressing the side of blade along side Aleria's neck...Not bringing harm not doing a cut...In the end she wouldn't nor couldn't harm anyone. . .
  30.
  31. VanCyndar Aleria couldn't quite pin the other down like she had hoped but she had taken out one of Marth's arms, the only downside to her predicament is that it took a bit of time to haul herself to her feet with the armour on... Down on her left knee the wolfess would look up to see the other charging her once more, causing Aleria to grit her teeth as she saw that blade coming from her right. Her own blade would raise to meet it in a clash, though with the momentum Aleria's own sword to come to rest against the side of her helmet and collar, drawing a slight growl from her. Her left knee spread a bit for stability as that shield would swing around in an attempt to slam the side against Marth's right hip.
  32.
  33. Butterfly warrior Was thinking too fast and couldn't come out with a straight plan. Her body just moved to defend herself. Yet, Marth could be blind at times. Seeing the blade of the wolfless coming to her side she reacted and jumped back. Not too fast. A small cut was made thru her clothes and skin, nothing too big nor deep but the damage was there. Once away from Van... Marth moved her right arm a little up. With her right arm bleeding couldn't do much... Sighed and offered an embarrassed smile to Aleria. "I guess I lost. I can't fight well with my left hand..." Did blush over her defeat. Yet had a smile on her lips. Was nice to fight once more.
  34.
  35. VanCyndar Aleria would watch as her opponent bounded away, though tilted her head slightly with the raising of her injured arm. "Ah!" She'd squeak before rising up to her feet. "You fought well enough, Marth... Good fight~" She'd say with a smile, sheathing her sword before undoing her helmet, holding it under her arm as she wandered on over. "Hm... One thing I'll say right now, try not to show your back to your opponent... Especially while on the floor... I uh... I learnt that in a rather painful way." She'd say softly before offering her hand. "Lets getcha patched up, hm?"
  36.
  37. Butterfly warrior Gave a smile as she sheathed her Falchion, slowly stepped closer to Aleria. "Thanks for the advice...I will look forward our next match"
