  3. Adrian has been, and always will be a great friend of mine and others. He was a junior at ASU when he very unfortunately passed. We have been friends since he moved from Tucson to Chandler in 5th grade. He has always devoted any time he could to helping his friends or giving them advice whenever he could, which was quite often. Adrian was always fun to be around. I can’t remember a day that I was with him when he didn’t make me laugh. According to racial stereotypes, he should have been smarter than most of his friends, but he was usually separated from them during class since a lot of his friends happened to be in CATS. Although I may not have always realized this, Adrian has made a strong influence on who I am and my interests today. He has done the same thing to some of his other close friends, who probably wouldn’t be the eccentric, funny people they are, as Adrian was. There have been ups and downs, as every long-term friendship has, although the bad times were not as severe as many friendships you see in teens. Adrian was always willing to give advice to his friends. He seemed to know almost everything about anything we asked. While he may not always notice, just like me, his friends have changed who he was from when he moved to Chandler to the person he left the world as. As most of his friends, Adrian was not the most religious person. Honestly, he was one of the most atheist people I knew. Although he may not have spiritual beliefs, may he be in a safe and better place.
