Rules for Novaverse

1. No flaming (this includes offensive swearing) and no maligness towards anyone. Arguing and discussing is tolerable as long as it’s fairly conducted. No bullying and teasing.
2. Be considerate towards everyone, and when not involved in an argument, don’t laugh at it. Don’t look for snazzy ways to bend rules, don’t play an overly ostentative role (i.e. don’t be a memeclown and avoid bad taste humor). Some places on the internet may be lawless, this one is not.
3. Act and write sincerely enough. Being overly childish is not tolerated regardless of your age. This also pertains your username / nick. Common sense is an obvious rule.
4. All of Discord’s ToS apply of course. Severe violations like exhibiting a malicious political mindset is grounds for an instant ban.
5. Obviously, most important rule: Speak english, you must be capable of the language, i.e. you shouldn’t rely on a translator.
6. Please take a look over the whole server to know what each channel is for. This especially pertains #memes, #spam and #sellout.
Keep in mind that excessive caps or letter multiplication also counts as spam and childish habit.
7. Don’t abuse pings, not even in #spam.
8. If a raid or a childish rampage happens, don’t go mad and flood messages please, just make sure to contact staff.
9. You should have an avatar or get yourself one asap when joining. There’s a notorious troll who usually never has one on his alts, you don’t want to be wrongfully mistaken for him.
