  1. [20:07:50] ll Headshot ll Jag's training ll Introduction to Mana
  2.
  3. So after a hard days of work, it looked like Jag finally got his chance to just relax. And of all places you'd think you'd never find him, is in that of a Library. Indeed the man finally decided to head to a Library. Not for really the books and all, but to gets ome peace and quiet. Not like the man had gone on some kind of insane venture, but just today and a bit of yesterday the man had been beaten down twice, arm broken and ripped by a Terra, and now the man had a wound and torso bandaging around his torso by that of Clyde.
  4.
  5. Jag was asking for things to slow down, moreso he wanted to grasp what happend to day and see just how far he got things. So through a series of painful steps and the usage of only one good arm to lead his way, he'd end up int he Byson library. Finding a private room in the stairs above, the man just sat at a table inwhich he placed both Ivory and Ebony ontop of the table. and then he just staired at them. Some words began to repeat back in his mind about a conversaiton he had with 'Aurel'

  7. "Now that guy told me that I should read a book. Screw it, I'll read a damn book then...."

  10.
  11. The book obviously did have to do with Mana. And for once in a long time instead of looking at only the pictures, this time Jag looked under the heading and ket reading the smaller words below. Not like he had any hard time with reading them, the man was 30, far from illiterate. With such a small grasp on mana, the man actually gained alot just from the first page. And for Jag? Pfft that was well over enough because the certain part of the book he turned to had to do with that of 'meditation'.
  12.
  13. The same word inwhich 'Mishiba' had been talking about in terms of mana and all that stuff. So Jag would try it out, why not. He'd slam the book shut and just place his one hand on the table. Looking down at it he'd repeat the steps of the book, to just breath and not even think about it. Closing then re opening his eyes he'd see his hand light up! Ina scare he lost concentration and the glow soon faded away. Flicking his wrist , rolling it , etc etc, the man tried to bring the glow back. But it was evident by forceful means he wasnt going to get the results again.

  15. "Alright one more time......"

  19. Jag's eyes closed but he could still feel the illumnination of the light on his eyelids. Still, the man wouldnt open his eyes as he thought if he did somehow the glow would dissipate again. So instead he'd bask silently in the glee that he achieved what 8 year olds achieved in their first few months of Pheonix academy attendence. Soon though eh would open his eyes to see his glowing hand. He didnt know what it was, he didnt care what it was, he just knew it -was- happening. And with such he'd begin to do what any man of his persona did when they found something new, play with it.
  20.
  21. After putting out all the flames in the room, he'd soon see only his glowing hand as if floating being how dark it was and how it lit up the room. A smile across his face alongside some anguish that he didnt just read the damn book instead of getitng all battered up by life. Naturally due to human error, once you give someone power, they want more of it. Jag's eyes were soon to be fixed on 'Ebony & Ivory, now on the table. Randuin had made them to be crafted and power based on mana.....Pieces starting to be put together as Jag was now walking toward the table.

  24.
  25. The room was still pretty dark so it would take a little scrambling around until Jag finally felt over the table to then make contact with his Gun-like invention. Pulling awya at first as he thought he was going to cause some kind of -- something to happen; soon to calm down. With the glowing hand still openly flowing with mana, he'd pick up 'Ebony'. On solid grasp the weapon fo choice soon lit with a saphire, a contridiction to the bluish color Jag's hand was. He'd hover the weapon infront of his face wondering why in the heck it was this color....
  26.
  27. Soon though he let go of the idea and was ready to test it out. Before, Jag could use his untamed small grasp on water, meer bubbles. But what happend when Jag used the weapons while he focused some mana before doing the wild attacks? Only one way to find out.....As per usual when Jag pumped mana into a weapon it made a click noise. this time around by some means perhaps of Jag calming and focusing his mana, it was more a dull roar. Now what was he to test the gun on.....His eyes focused on the torches of the room he previously had put out to see his glowing hand better.

  30.
  31. Jag was no man of steel nerves, espically when he knew he wa smessing with somthing as unstable as his mana that he about 20 minutes ago knew he could harness for something more than wild attacks. A shame his right armw as in a cast or he could hold 'Ebony' more firmly with 2 hands. Hoing out on a limb, he'd finally calm his nerves to then have his eyesight locked on the torch infront of him about 30 feet away. A inhale, and on the exhale he'd let his mana flow freely.
  32.
  33. A crack heard maybe even in the rooms below. It had ben Jag's wrist. What had happend? Well, with a more controlled and focus goal of how he wanted the gunt o fire, ti was too fast, too much pressure. Before wa ssmall wildly burst of his mana. But this was now his true focus, his true ability. And in doing so Jag had lost control almost instantly , dropping Ebony due to it even getting to hot, it to soon richochet and hit the ground. Jag found himself leaning against the nearest wall to him, a hurt wrist but a grin across his face. Like all begginings to every story he'd whisper to himself.
  34.
  35. "Oh this is good...... I may have just screwed up my wrist, but when I master whatever the kraus this is... oh man.... Statue here I come."
  36. (Jag 'Deadeye' Voomas)
