Blake x Addison

[7:06pm] Gwen: Addison wanders into the coffee shop around the corner from the Bureau altering parking the Range Rover out front.  She slings her messenger back over her shoulder and steps inside, pulling her blue aviators off her face.
[7:06pm] Alivi: Blake is cleaning the counters when Addison walks in, he looks up and smiles as she does so, "Welcome back!"
[7:08pm] Gwen: Addison smiles as well.  "Hiya!  How's things?"  She places her bag down on a small table nearest the window, before heading towards the counter.
[7:09pm] Alivi: "Pretty good, Regular Caramel Mocha right? Or would you like to try something new?"
[7:09pm] Gwen: "Yes please!  You remembered, that's impressive."
[7:11pm] Alivi: "Well you are hard to forget," he laughs a bit, "Alright one regular caramel mocha coming right up!" He gets to work making it. Adding some extra caramel.
[7:12pm] Gwen: Addison blushes a little and rummages in her pockets.  "How much do I owe you?"
[7:13pm] Alivi: "Nothing, It's on me. Hopefully things are going well. You seemed a bit bummed the other day."
[7:13pm] Alivi: He slides the drink over to her.
[7:14pm] Gwen: Addison takes her hands out of her pockets and takes the drink.  "Thanks...and...just problems in my personal life, that's all."
[7:16pm] Alivi: "Never good," he frowns a bit. "Well no one in here but you and me, so if you wanna talk it out, I am all ears." He gives a friendly smile as he gets back to wiping down the surfaces of the shop.
[7:19pm] Gwen: Addison leans against the nearest table.  "I suppose I can trust my local barista who I've met a grand total of twice."
[7:22pm] Alivi: He gives a dashing smile back, "Of course,"
[7:57pm] Gwen: Addison holds up her hand showing her ring.  "He's stood me up at the alter once and wants to try the wedding a second time."
[7:57pm] Alivi: Blake raises his eyebrows. "Really now… and….how do you feel about that?"
[7:59pm] Scantron joined the chat room.
[8:00pm] Gwen: "It sucks, but you know I still..."  She sighs.
[8:03pm] Alivi: Blake sighs, "Yea…
[8:03pm] Alivi: "
[8:03pm] Gwen: Addison laughs nervously.  "I shouldn't bother you with this!"
[8:04pm] Alivi: Blake shakes his head, "It is fine, I asked… and to be honest a pretty girl like you shouldn't be dealing with this sort of stuff."
[8:05pm] Gwen: Addison blushes as he compliments.  "Sort of goes with the territory," she says with a sigh.
[8:06pm] Alivi: Blake sighs, "Still. What do you feel? That is the real question. You shouldn't do anything you aren't entirely comfortable with. Even if it means making the guy wait a bit."
[8:08pm] Gwen: "I got him to delay it a month...I wanna see how he acts.  We have this party at work...and I wanna see if he stands me up."
[8:08pm] Alivi: Blake frowns. "You think he is going to stand you up?"
[8:10pm] Gwen: "He stood me up at the wedding, why is this any different."
[8:13pm] Alivi: "Yea…" He sighs. "Listen. Do what you feel right doing…girl like you could have her pick of guys. Don't rush into marriage with some jerk who left you before." Blake turns a bit red. "Sorry. Probably not my place."
[8:13pm] Alivi: He begins cleaning again.
[8:15pm] Gwen: Addison sighs.  "That's the thing.  He's not...none of this is his fault..."
[8:15pm] Alivi: "Really?"
[8:21pm] Gwen: "It's complicated to explain..."
[8:23pm] Alivi: "I see…. either way….. he shouldn't have a reason for this party thing right?"
[8:23pm] Scantron is now known as Scanscouts.
[8:24pm] Gwen: She shakes her head.  "Nope.  No reason."
[8:25pm] Alivi: Blake smiles, "Well should work well right?"
[8:29pm] Gwen: "I guess.  I'm just skeptical."
[8:30pm] Alivi: "I don't blame you." He begins cleaning some glasses.
[8:31pm] Gwen: "What about you Blake.  Do you  have anyone special?"
[8:34pm] Alivi: Blake smiles, "Well if you must know, been talking to this girl. We met by chance and she's pretty sweet. Each time I talk to her I feel happier. I wouldn't say we are a thing yet though,"
[8:40pm] Gwen: "Oh yeah?  Where'd you meet her?  Sounds lovely."
[8:42pm] Alivi: "Internet. Geeky I know, but hey. Haters gonna hate right?"
[8:44pm] Gwen: "You're talking to a geek hon, I don't hate."
[8:45pm] Alivi: "Oh I knew that. You seem too nice to hate."
[8:46pm] Alivi: "But…you never know, even some geeks feel strange when it comes to internet romances. Even if they are one-sided."
[8:47pm] Gwen: "I don't have an issue with them...they were my only source of romance until I moved here."
[8:47pm] Alivi: "Good to know."
[8:54pm] Scanscouts left the chat room. (Quit: Leaving.)
[8:54pm] Alivi: Blake looks at Addison before looking away and begins cleaning more.
[9:03pm] Gwen: "I'm sure it will work out with her."
[9:04pm] Alivi: Blake sighs, "I hope so..."
[9:07pm] Gwen: Addison sits at her table.  "I know so."
[9:08pm] Alivi: Blake smiles, "Listen…this girl….I know there is gonna be this event coming up. She's going. Do you think I should go?"
[9:13pm] Gwen: Addison nods.  "Absolutely!"
[9:13pm] Alivi: Blake nods, "Great."
[9:21pm] Gwen: Addison takes out her phone and sends a text to Apollo.  <sup?> "Girls like surprises."
[9:25pm] Alivi: A text message beep rings out and Blake stiffens and turns a bit red. "Oh they do huh…"
[9:26pm] Gwen: Addison looks to him.  "You okay?"
[9:27pm] Alivi: He takes out his phone making sure it is 1- silenced and two he reads the message and smiles chuckling a bit. "Y-yea…" <Hey Blue> he responds to the message after waiting a bit. He looks to Addison to see what she does.
[9:27pm] Alivi: "Really should probably have this off while at work."
[9:38pm] Gwen: Addison's phone buzzes.  "Mine lives on silent because of work."  She goes for her phone and smiles,.  <Whatcha up to.>
[9:40pm] Alivi: Blake seems to be cleaning, however he is now texting, <Work, you?> "Yea…. I forget sometimes."
[9:42pm] Gwen: Addison just sits down.  "So what's this girl do?"  Addison, pulls her laptop out, her MI6 ID hitting the floor."
[9:45pm] Alivi: Blake, walks over towards Addison,  "Well she works for some government stuff I think, she won't tell me. Secret stuff you know? But she says she travels. Seems kinda exciting you know?" He picks up the ID, "Dropped this."

[10:21pm] Gwen: Addison looks to Blake and back to her ID and takes it.  She grabs her phone and sends him an empty text message, her eyes wide.
[10:23pm] Alivi: His phone is on silent. However he notices the wide eyed look, he sighs, he looks at his phone after she sends it. Looks confused and texts back <?> He looks back at her. "Don't worry. I didn't look at the ID."
[10:24pm] Gwen: "You're SonofApollo!?"
[10:24pm] Alivi: He sighs, and runs his hand through his hair. "Yes, Blue."
[10:25pm] Gwen: Addison watched him stunned.  "I...have no idea what to say..."
[10:26pm] Alivi: "Well Hi is a good starter, we could continue the conversation, or just….um…go separate ways." He begins to clean tables.
[10:27pm] Gwen: "Hi."  She says, taking her glasses off.  "This is..unexpected, that's all."
[10:28pm] Alivi: He relaxes and waves, "Well unexpected is fun. Hello, I'm Blake."
[10:29pm] Gwen: "Addison Hawthorne."  She waves back.  "So you're the guy who impressed me with your hacking skill."
[10:31pm] Alivi: "Shhhh, it's kinda a hobby then again… no one else is here. But Addison, great name. Want me to still call you Blue?"
[10:32pm] Gwen: "As long as it's just you and me, you can call me blue.  If I am here with work people, you don't know me"
[10:32pm] Alivi: "Ouch….really?"
[10:34pm] Gwen: "The guy...I told you about.  We work together..departmental rumours are something I can't risk."
[10:36pm] Alivi: "Ah….stand up at alter guy. Well he better not leave you at the party. We might have issues."
[10:36pm] Gwen: Addison shrugs.  "We'll have to wait and see.  I still have to get my dress tailored a little."
[10:37pm] Alivi: "What color?"
[10:37pm] Gwen: "Black."
[10:38pm] Alivi: "Great match. I like it." He smiles.
[10:39pm] Gwen: She smiles and blushes a little.  "Oh and...try to forget the MI6 thing...I didn't know I had my ID on me."
[10:40pm] Alivi: "Like I said, I never looked. But thanks for letting me know that." He smiles.
[10:41pm] Gwen: She smiles back.  "You're welcome."
[10:41pm] Alivi: "See now that is the look I think that fits you."
[10:42pm] Gwen: "What look?"
[10:45pm] Alivi: "Smiling." Blake smiles and moves back behind the counter.
[10:46pm] Gwen: Addison turns beet red, but can't seem to stop smiling.
[10:47pm] Alivi: Blake chuckles, "Would you like a refill?"
[10:48pm] Gwen: "Yes please, but I should get back home...it's getting a little late."
[10:52pm] Alivi: "I'll make it to-go… I'll be getting off in an hour or two. I'll message you then." He begins making the drink and places it in a to-go cup handing it to her.
[10:53pm] Gwen: She smiles and pulls out a twenty pound note, slipping it in the tip jar.  "That's for not letting me pay for a drink."
[10:54pm] Alivi: "Wh-whoa wait a second! That i- Oh come on, that was supposed be a treat!"
[10:58pm] Gwen: "It is a treat!  I'm just so pleased with the service here."  She leans across the counter and pecks him on the cheek, before grabbing her stuff.  "Thanks for the treat!"
[10:58pm] Alivi: He looks completely stunned. Is definitely smiling. "No…No problem."
