- Lead Product Designer
- Exciting and unique opportunity for a product designer with strong product design experience who wants to lead from both a product design and brand marketing perspective!
- Cerebry is the world's first automated artificially intelligent tutor that enables students to ace their exams. It is based on patent-pending research and unlike other test prep solutions, does not use humans or question banks to create questions. We create a different question for every student based on the student's level of understanding. We are looking for a Lead or Director level User Experience Designer with a solid design background, who is experienced in both product design and brand marketing. The designer should be able to create visual page layouts, user interfaces, wireframes, user flows, use cases, and more for the website and web applications. Also, the designer will create mock-ups and graphics for the website, e-mail newsletters, and other marketing projects.
- The designer is further responsible for overseeing the design process from its first conceptualization to final production and will have full ownership over design and user experience. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and the marketing team to ensure that designs are well defined, and implemented precisely and efficiently. The product design must be tailored to meet usability objectives and user requirements, and should ultimately implement simple and elegant solutions for complex usability challenges.
- Responsibilities:
- · Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to create comprehensive
- product/design specifications.
- · Independently lead design activities for new product ideas and existing
- product optimizations.
- · Design experiences that are simple, intuitive and joyful.
- · Design UX/UI guidelines across multiple client applications and platforms:
- Desktop-Web, Mobile-Web, iOS and Android.
- · Develop various fidelity prototypes for design reviews, internal testing and
- user test groups.
- · Develop a strong understanding for our users, product, business objectives
- and company mission.
- · Translate qualitative and quantitative user research data into actionable
- solutions.
- · Advocate for consistent, clear and actionable user experiences.
- Desired Skills:
- · BA/MS in a relevant/related field (Cognitive Science, Interaction Design,
- Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors)
- · Strong design portfolio covering mobile and web examples of one or more
- consumer application(s) and associated UX flows.
- · Understanding of modern design patterns, frameworks and best practices.
- · Ability to articulate ideas clearly, patiently and succinctly – verbally, written
- and visually.
- · Ability to communicate genuine user stories with clear stakeholders,
- objectives and value.
- · Copy editing skills
