In Korea they meet again at a cafe after Yuta got accepted as a trainee though Yuta couldn't remember her. She acted like he didn't know him too and just walked away.

Iseul was a outcast because she wasn't Japanese and couldn't speak Japanese very well and because she looked scary. Yuta was a very popular guy at school and began hanging out with Iseul out of pity. Though he eventually found out that Iseul came from a very rich family. Iseul told him about  her family problems when she could fully trust him. She being the naive person she was,thought he was a very nice person and fell for him. after a month,Yuta eventually had enough of her and told everyone at school a false rumor and everyone started bullying her. She asked Yuta why he did this but he just laughed and mocked her. She eventually found out from his friend that Yuta only used her for free things and food which left her broken. She went back to Korea two weeks later.She couldn't forget her love for Yuta though and developed Hanahaki
