Grettir - Punches a kid

Grettir lost his temper at this, and could not control himself. He raised his fist and hit the boy under the ear, so that he immediately fell unconscious, and some say he died instantly. But nobody could say where this boy had come from, or what became of him, and people believe that this was an unclean spirit sent to disqualify Grettir.
