Ghost(CYOA)

"Come on, man! Don't be a coward!" Your obnoxious comrade taunts, giving you a lighthearted blow to the shoulder. "You lost the bet, now man up and take your punishment!"

You are shoved into an abandoned hospital, your stumbling body slamming into the cold floor.

"Four hours, no electronics. Have fun, brah!"

The door behind you slams shut.

The hospital is nearly pitch black, illuminated only by the cracks in the boarded-up windows.

Getting back up, you cautiously make your first steps forward. Suddenly a glowing, ash-grey streak crosses your sight, heading into a hallway.

You call out to the light.

Almost immediately, the light darts back across your vision, dropping a slightly damaged stuffed bunny at your feet. Although it is faint, you can hear giggling.

Before you can react, the bunny's head spins like a rotor blade and falls off. A tar-like substance erupts from its wound. You fall backward, startled by the bunny's sudden, suicidal assault.

"Teehee! I got you!" A high-pitched voice echoes throughout the lobby.

You scold the light for its rude behavior.

"I'm sorry mister, I just wanted to have fun... I've been really lonely since Daddy left. I wonder, have you seen him anywhere?"

You tell the light that you haven't, and inform it about your current situation.

"So, you're not sick? Then... can you help me find Daddy?"

You agree to help the light find its father.

"You will?! Oh thank you, thank you, thank you! Mister Fluffles will help!"

The stuffed bunny gets up, its neck wound igniting like a candle. Oddly enough, the fluff around the wound remains unburned.

You pick up the bunny, keeping it upright to avoid spilling more black fluid on your clothes.

"I think Daddy said he was going to the washroom when he left. Mister Fluffles will show you the way."

The flame atop the bunny's head leans toward one of the hallways. Following Sir Fluffles' command, you bravely trek the empty hall, stopping at the men's restroom.

You knock, but there's no response.

"D-don't worry about getting him out of there! I'll have Mister Fluffles do it for you!"

The bunny tries to struggle free of your grip, but it's too weak.

"Let him go, you dummy!"

You leave the bunny to his duty.

The bunny attempts to stealthily enter the door.

However, it appears that the father was already aware of your presence, and he comes bolting out the door. But he doesn't seem happy to see you, or the bunny. In the short time you were able to see his face, you could easily tell that he was terrified.

Sprinting and screaming down the hallway, the panicking father only makes it a few feet before tripping over and snapping his neck.

Examining the body of the deceased father, you see that there are burn wounds swelling and boiling all over his body, coating him in spots of black, red and yellow.

"D-daddy? Daddy! Why did you run, Daddy?! I thought I was your precious!" The light wails. "Fluffles, this is all YOUR fault!"

The bunny vividly bursts into a bright red flame, it's button eyes melting in the heat.

"I-I'm sorry you had to see that, Mister." The ghost sobs.

There is a long pause.

"M-Mister, i-if you don't mind, I-I would appreciate it if you cheered me up..."

You console the ghost to the best of your ability.

"You're a nice guy, Mister. Forgiving someone like me takes a lot of guts. You remind me of Daddy. But, you're more like a brother. Can I call you Big Bro?"

You agree, hoping to live for a few more hours.

"Hehe, Big Bro... Big Bro... It suits you. Hey, Big Bro, do you want to play a game?"

You agree, hoping to avoid the same fate as poor Daddy.

"Ya~y! Now, here are the rules: I'm the queen. if you don't do what I tell you to, you get punished~! First order!"

The air around you grows hotter, as a gray, glowing, childlike, feminine figure materializes before you. Thin smoke rises from her body.

"Touch me."

Swallowing your fear,  you touch the girl's body with your index finger.

Immediately, you can feel your flesh of your fingertip sizzle against the hot surface of her body. Stinging pains surge through your finger.

"Ahn~! K-keep it there..."

Clenching your teeth, kneeling down, and letting out a small moan of pain, you keep your finger planted on the girl.

Your finger ignites like a fuse; a wave of sparks travel down your finger, and only bone remains behind them. Your entire hand goes numb as the sparks consume it.

"Mmmmhn~! It feels so nice and cool!"

The girl notices the pained and panicked expression.

"Oh! I'm so sorry!"

She leans toward your sparkling arm, and blows it out like a candle.

"There, all better!" The girl cheers.

"Now, for my second command: Give me a kiss on the lips."

You kiss the girl.

Luckily, your lips aren't welded shut. In fact, nothing happened at all.

"That was my apology for what happened to your hand. Now, for the real thing~!"

In one swift move, she wraps an arm around your neck, pulls you in for a kiss, and uses her free hand to grab your skeletal claw, planting it firmly on one of her undeveloped breasts.

The skin around your neck begins cooking, and immediately goes numb.

Her lips still do not burn, but she breathes a lungful of hot smoke into your mouth.

Soon, she frees you from the kiss, thankfully before your neck became a firework. You cough up some blood and smoke.

"Teehee~! Now, for my final command-"

Her last wish is interrupted by your friend kicking open the door.

"Yo, loser! Come on back!"

You can hear him approaching your position.

You're low on air.

Using the last of your precious breath, you try to escape the girl.

Before you can even move, the girl hurls a massive, scarlet fireball at your friend, who fails to dodge in time.

In desperation, you attempt to flee the premises.

A glowing streak of grey intercepts you.

"Big Bro, did I order you to leave? Remember, if you disobey me, you'll get punished~!"

ALTERNATE ENDING


Hoping to save your friend, you use your last breath to warn him.

"Oh, so this is the friend that locked you here?"

Within a second, she intercepts him.

"You know, I won't tolerate someone who's this mean to Big Bro."

She plunges a hand inside of his chest. After a while, he goes limp.

Removing her hand from the sizzling wound, she walks into the hallway, and comes back with an army of teddy bears, armed with surgical instruments.

"Don't worry, Big Bro, I won't let you die! Fuzzy squad, begin the operation!"
