- 01| FULL NAME ー romanized (Hangul/Sino-Korean/Chinese characters from an alphabet I don’t know the name of) (meanings) (note: characters/meanings may not be entirely accurate because the internet is the internet)
- ° Birth names:
- ° Liu Zhihao (刘/劉 志豪) (last = kill, destroy ; first = will, purpose, ambition + brave, heroic, chivalrous)
- ° Names she’s used over the years that she will answer to:
- ° Zhang An (张 安) (last = listen ; first = peace, quiet (from the Sino-Vietnamese safe, secure))
- ° Kim Seong (金 成 or 김 성) (last = from the Chinese name for gold, Jin ; first = completed, finished, succeeded)
- ° Axelle Jade Moreau
- ° She prefers to go by Axelle or Jade
- ° Her Chinese birth name is incredibly special to her, because it reminds her of her father and Xiuying, and she lets very few people know it
- ° She never really uses her chosen Chinese or Korean name
- 02| NICKNAME(S) ー
- ° ice queen > she doesn’t talk much, she can be kinda cold, she looks, and occasionally acts, like some kind of cold queen who doesn’t interact with her subjects much
- ° bitch > some feel the reasons for her name ice queen aren’t positive qualities, and she has an excellent bitchface
- ° protective unnie > she always ends up taking the job of protecting and taking care of the members (for example, making sure they don’t walk into poles or that their shoelaces are tied) and is the oldest of the girls
- ° in general, she doesn’t really care about any of the nicknames she is given. she just kind of adds them to the list of stuff she’s been called, and they’re the least important on there. also, she’d prefer she to be the one taking all of the insulting nicknames, instead of her members
- ° mom/omma > this is the only one of her nicknames that has really stuck with her. She acts like the mother of the group, yeah, and that is just a part of her natural motherly instincts, but she’s also doing it somewhat intentionally. Some of the members don’t have mothers, her included. She herself never really had a motherly figure, so she knows what it feels like to want that, especially once that mother is gone (whether they’re still alive or not), so she has stepped up to be the mother of the group and to give the other members that experience of having a mother
- 03| STAGE NAME ー
- ° ZH > she chose it because it was her deceased lover, Xiuying who urged her to share her music with the world. Her Xiuying was the last person to ever call her Zhihao, a name that has always been special to her. She feels as though it’s her way of both thanking Xiuying for pushing her to share her music and for honoring her memory. Whenever someone asks her how she got it, she just shrugs and
- ° Despite ZH being her official stage name, she’s mostly called Jade. It’s like a Young.K vs Brian thing
- ° (I’m going to mostly call her Jade in this, except during the background, when I’ll use whatever name she went by at that time. If it’s too confusing, I can edit it.)
- 04| BIRTHDAY ー 9 January 1676 (age: 341 yrs)
- 05| HEIGHT ー 175 cm (5’9”)

- 08| BACKUP SLOT ー AUTUMNLEAVES
- 09| FACECLAIM ー Grace

- 11| ETHNICITY ー Korean-Chinese
- ° she thinks of herself more as Chinese than Korean. Because it was her vampire mother who was Korean, she always thinks of her only as a vampire, unable to be labelled by human groups/borders as she wandered the world for centuries, while her mortal father was Chinese, and more leashed to that title
- 12| NATIONALITY ー Chinese
- 13| BIRTHPLACE ー Jingzhou, China
- 14| LANGUAGES SPOKEN ー
- ° Mandarin : fluent (she makes sure to practice this often, because she never wants to lose her ability to speak her father’s original language)
- ° French : fluent (she spend a long time in France after the death of her mother)
- ° Korean : semi-fluent (she was fluent for many years, but never really used it that often after her mother died. but, being in Korea, she’s picking it up quite quickly, and mostly only stumbles over a couple of verb tenses and is utterly lost on any kind of slang or sayings)
- ° English : conversational (she picked up a bit of it while in France, and, because of this, has a heavy French accent whenever she speaks in it)
- ° Manchu : formerly fluent (she was born in China shortly after the Manchu invasion and beginning of the Qing dynasty), but probably could barely read a sentence now
- 15| HISTORY ー Jade was born Liu Zhihao to two parents apart of the Qing cavalry units. Her mother wouldn’t have even been an option for leading a military unit, considering she was both a woman and a foreigner, but she was a vampire. The idea of having a vampire with much experience of war fighting on their side apparently outweighed their xenophobia. Considering both of her parent’s occupations as soldiers and the fact that they met during the battles going on while the Ming dynasty was being overthrown by the Qing, it’s needless to say that fighting was a large part of Zhihao’s childhood. She was being trained by some of the best (aka would wander into random training sessions and, because people knew her parents, wouldn’t be kicked out) from the moment she could walk and hold a sword. Because of her years of training, vampire skills, and natural tendency, she quickly became an excellent warrior.
- Zhihao was quite close with her father. For her, he made things “human.” He taught her much about the “human” way of things, so she never felt like an outsider for taking after her mother. On the other hand, her mother, and only exposure to other vampires until she moved to France, had much more of a professional relationship with her, so to say. Although they did still love each other, it felt more like loyalty, than true familial bonds. Her mother trained her well, never really coddling her, but treating her as a disciple and almost like an heir to her position within the military. She trained the warrior side of her, while her father trained the “human” side.
- When Zhihao was 16, her father was sent to the first Dzungar-Qing war. By 17, he was dead. The moment she heard the news of this, Zhihao was determined to go to the warfront and avenge her father, but her mother wouldn’t allow her to. And, although Zhihao was quite a good and cunning warrior, her mother was better. She was forced to sit out of this war, staying back to be trained more and to help train those soldiers who would actually be sent into that war. She had half a mind to train them poorly, so there was no choice but to send her and her mother to the warfront.
- Zhihao experienced her first war when she was 25, and her mother had noticed just how anxious her daughter was to fight in a real fight. So, her mother convinced one of her long-time friends in the Manchu Bannermen to let Zhihao tag along when they went to fight in the Battle of Dartsedo. Zhihao discovered she had a knack for battle strategies and loved the taste of fresh blood and victory.
- When she was 47, she finally had the opportunity to go and fight in the first wave of the Third Dzungar-Qing war. Zhihao was able to both fight to avenge her father and get another victory under her belt.
- At this point, Zhihao was maturing more, and came to actually enjoy the “waiting game” before the perfect battle for her to join arose.
- It was in 1736 that Zhihao lost her childlike joy for wars. Both her and her mother were sent to help quell the Miao Rebellions once they reached a dangerous point (1735-36). It was a bloody nightmare that Zhihao still appears in her dream, as far and few between they may be. Her mother, who she had previously believed to be the most untouchable person alive, was killed in the bloodshed. Something that had been moved within her with her father’s death was knocked out of place, not yet broken, but not the same, not anymore. The moment she saw her mother die, she lost herself. The Qing army killed over 18,000 warriors and a reasonable amount of them met their demise at Zhihao’s hand or teeth or sword.
- When she went back home, she was quieter. All her life, her mother had raised her as if to be her replacement. The next battle-hardened, invincible, immortal weapon for the Qing army to use as they like. So, she took that role on. She was no longer itching to go and fight everywhere she could, an attitude she had grown up with that was amplified by her father’s death, and had been silenced by her mother’s. She became the general everyone feared, and rightfully so. She trained and trained and trained, but now with a deadly quiet to her. She filled the position of her mother quite well, actually. She had the intelligence and forethought to be a good strategizer, she had the speaking skill to be a great leader, and she had the fighting experience to be an excellent teacher. She was the kind of person the soldiers didn’t necessarily like, but wouldn’t want anyone but her to be leading them into battle.
- This was the first time she changed her name. She no longer wanted to be Liu Zhihao. Her father had given her that name, and he was dead. She made her name known with the wars she fought, and joining her in those wars didn’t end well for her mother. She no longer wanted to have her name mean purpose or ambition or brave or any of the other meanings her name had that she no longer felt like she was. If she wasn’t strong enough to protect her parents, how could she keep a name like “heroic”? So, she became Zhang An, and, being a vampire killing machine, no one questioned her. Her last name meant “listen,” and, as a leader, that’s what she felt her job was. To listen to her soldiers, to listen to her superiors, to listen to the enemy and decide a good strategy to take them down. Her first name was chosen more as a comfort for herself, than for anything more. An, meaning “peace” and “quiet,” something she came to desire in replacement of the cacophony of constant battle. On a battlefront, peace and quiet meant it was all over. Whoever was lost was lost and there was no more danger to her men. The name comes from the Vietnamese name meaning, in Sino-Vietnamese, “safe” and “secure.” She had always thought she and her family would always be safe, especially her immortal mother. So, she decided that’s what she had to strive for. She decided that, now, her first job was to make sure all of her charges, her soldiers, made it out of the war, to make sure they were safe to return to their families.
- An fought in a couple of other battles after her mother’s death, the Revolt of the Altishahr Khojas (1757-59) and the Sino-Nepalese War (1788-89) being the most notable. But it was only the second major Miao Rebellion (1795-1806) that she truly remembers. That “thing” inside her that had been touched by her parent’s deaths finally broke during this battle.
- Although there were some little local issues, there was a relative peace after the first major Miao Rebellion. Until 1795 was approaching, that is. Things were getting more and more violent in Hunan and Guizhou districts, so, in 1792, 116 year old An was sent in before the rest of the army, not as a general or as a soldier, but as a spy. She still looked young and, being a woman, wasn’t under much suspicion. While there, trying to get information on the layout of the district, the people, who the leaders seemed to be, she met Xiuying. At first, An never gave Xiuying a second thought. She wasn’t in the mindset of making friends, she was there to get a job done, so she never really noticed Xiuying when she went to her family’s flower shop to see if she could subtly get some information out of Xiuying’s father. She had bought flowers there, because obviously wouldn’t just walk in like “Hey, I’m a spy for the army that’s about to come and kill you all for rebelling, take me to your leader.” When she was getting ready to throw the flowers into some lake or puddle, she noticed a note tucked into the ribbon. It said that if she wanted information on the rebellion, she would need to be at the flowshop by midnight. She assumed it was from the father, who looked like someone who just wanted the rebellion to be over, so he could go back to tricking young men into buying their sweetheart’s dozens of flowers in peace.
- When she arrived, it was Xiuying who greeted her. An came to discover that Xiuying wasn’t really a person for violence, and didn’t agree with the rebellion. It turns out, Xiuying’s father was one of the main leaders of the rebellion, and Xiuying was more than willing to give up as much information as she could (her father had never treated her or her mother well, and they would have many rebel meetings at their house, not realizing how much of a threat Xiuying could be).
- In the three years before the rebellion truly took place, An and Xiuying had plenty of time to get to know one another, under the guise (although not wholly faked) of being friends while Xiuying gathered as much information to give to An. Xiuying (秀英, meaning luxuriant, beautiful, elegant, outstanding, flower, petal, brave, and hero) was a sweet, beautiful girl who wanted to do more than she knew she ever could. She wanted to see the world, but, being the daughter of a flower salesman, she knew she would never get that chance. She and An would spend hours talking about what the travelling would be like. By year two, they realized they loved each other. Romance had never been something An had ever thought about, she had never had the time to or the place to. She had never been attracted to any of the men or boys at the training grounds. She had always thought it was because, after her father died, she felt different from them, she felt that human/vampire divide. She never guessed it was because she wasn’t into dudes. For the first time in almost sixty years, An told someone her real name. Xiuying liked the name Zhihao much better, and took to calling her that, instead. It felt much more personal to her.
- In that last year, Xiuying and Zhihao became so much closer. They decided that, once this fight was over, they would leave. They would get on a boat to France and never look back. Xiuying loved to cook, and, when she realized that Zhihao would always forget to eat human food to sustain herself, she cooked every single meal for her. Xiuying taught Zhihao about her love for music. Although Zhihao had never really spent time with the musical arts, she discovered she had a lovely voice, one that Xiuying, who wasn’t that good of a singer, adored. She would make Zhihao sing to her everyday. Xiuying was more of a dancer, herself. Dancing was another thing Zhihao was taught by her lover. She realized she had a knack for dancing, and because, to her, fighting and dancing weren’t that different. She had already honed her body and muscles into the most swift and smooth machine, and this showed in her dancing skills. Song and dance and Xiuying became a daily part of Zhihao’s life. Xiuying made Zhihao feel something she hadn’t since her father was still alive: mortal, human. During those three years before the rebellion, Zhihao didn’t feel like some cold, immortal, different vampire. She felt like she belonged.
- During the first Miao Rebellion, some warrior fanatics on the Miao side would kill their wives and children before joining the rebellion, in order to burn all bridges left behind them. This rebellion turned out to be no different. Xiuying’s father was one of these men, desperate enough to fight without worry that they would kill their own family.
- At 19 years old, Xiuying was killed in 1795. Zhihao wasn’t there to do anything. The night before, she had learned that the Qing army was ready to invade the districts, having learned enough information and the violence was already becoming enough to attract attention on the national level. She was to report back to her army immediately. She knew she couldn’t get Xiuying to safety that night. The rebels knew something was coming, and this might just tip them off. So, the two of them made a plan. Zhihao wasn’t apart of the first wave to be sent in, but she would be able to go sneak into the war zone while everything was in chaos, take Xiuying back to where the rest of the soldiers were camping, and would be able ready to fight during the second wave the morning after.
- She found Xiuying dead in her room, her father still standing over her, blood dripping off of his sword. He was her first kill of the battle.
- For eleven years, the war was fought. She doesn’t remember much of the actual battle, just seeing her lover’s body, freshly dead with a pile of flowers she was arranging for the shop sitting at the foot of her cot and her packs bags sitting hidden underneath the low table. And how both bitter and sweet the blood of Xiuying’s father tasted.
- She likes to think Liu Zhihao died that day. Once again, she did not feel as though she was deserving of the name and the titles that came with it. For the next eleven years of the rebellion, she fought as Zhang An, the calm, cool leader who just needed to get the job done and keep her soldiers as safe as possible. Afterwards, she left China. She got on a boat to France, and decided to never look back.
- She knew that, on some level, Xiuying never expected to make it out of that rebellion alive, and that, even if she did, she knew she would die someday long before Zhihao met her end. Xiuying would always remind Zhihao that, no matter what, Zhihao needed not to blame herself for anything that happened. She helped Zhihao to realize that, during the first Miao rebellion, although her mother died, she had lived a long enough life, and, with her profession, it was bound to happen anyway. She told her to remember all of the people she did save during that rebellion, and the peace she helped to create afterward. So, during the second Miao rebellion, Zhihao made it her priority to get as many of the women and children to safety as possible. She knew Xiuying would have wanted that.
- Although she never considered it a possibility during those eleven years, on the trip to France, Zhihao forgave herself. She made herself no longer think of the deaths of those close to her as her own failures, but parts of life, and events that happened that there is no longer any control over. What’s done is done, and it was up to her to make peace with herself for it.
- She changed her name again when she got to France. Liu Zhihao was a daughter and a lover, someone special to only be known by those close to her. Zhang An was a warrior and a leader, one who cared for the safety of her men above all else, and cared for the victory of her state second. And she became Axelle Jade Moreau. No meanings in these names that she knew of, and she quite liked that. She was going to a new country, a place where no one knew who she was or what she had done. She didn’t want meanings of a name to label her before she had done anything. She wanted a blank slate.
- She got to France in 1810. She became a singer there for the next couple of decades. Everytime she sang or danced, she was reminded of how happy it made Xiuying, and, honestly, it made her want to sing and to dance more. She opened a dance studio, and secretly taught women and girls self-defense late at night there.
- In 1883, she got news that there had been another Miao Rebellion (1854-73). The casualties from this battle was estimated to be in the millions. She took a few years off from teaching when she got this news, and travelled to Korea. She wanted to visit the land that had been her mother’s home for so long. While here, she went by the name Kim Seong, Seong meaning completed, finished, or succeeded. Her mother began her life of being a soldier here, and Seong felt as though this was a good place for her to end hers, for her to completely forgive herself for everything that had happened while she was a warrior, and for her to close that chapter of her life.
- She was back in France by 1907, and stayed there through both World Wars. She couldn’t bring herself to fight. She hated the methods that were now being used (guns and tanks and mechanical stuff she wasn’t a huge fan of), and didn’t want to get sucked back into the bloodlust of war. But, she knew she couldn’t just sit back and do nothing. She converted the basement of her studio into a living space (she had been living in a small apartment above it, so it’s not like the place was wholly unlivable), and got in contact with some people who helped her to sneak into various countries and smuggle refugees out. She helped to save dozens of lives during this time.
- In 2012, she got a degree in dance and vocals from one of France’s music schools. It was around this time that she was getting a bit restless. The friends she had made at that college were all moving away, onto their own lives, and she decided she wasn’t in the mood to just sit there and wait for something new to happen. One of her close friends from the college, Choi Sungmin (no relation to anyone in kpop) was moving back to Korea to form a dance group, and she decided to go with.
- For the next three years, Jade had a self-defense studio in Seoul. She stopped dancing and singing in public. She had always tied the emotions she put into her song and dance with Xiuying. She kind of felt as though taking this talent of hers somewhere else, when it was France that Xiuying had always wanted to see, wasn’t right.
- In 2015, around the time Uprise Group was beginning to plan out an entirely vampire group, Sungmin was getting his dance group ready for a performance at some local concert, when, two weeks before the event, one of his members had to go home to Jeju because her mother got sick. Sungmin begged Jade to step in for her. She agreed to do it, both to help her friend, and because she secretly missed performing. A casting agent from Uprise Group happened to be in the audience of this performance, caught a glimpse of Jade’s fangs while she was backstage, and approached her after the show, offering her a chance to audition at the company.
- She stayed up all night, trying to decide whether or not she wanted to try it. Eventually, she decided just to give it a try. She missed singing and dancing and how it distracted her from feeling as though she was feared by everyone who came close enough to see her fangs. She also figured Xiuying, considering how much she loved Zhihao’s voice, wouldn’t want her to never share her talents.
- And so, she auditioned with an old Chinese song Xiuying had taught her, and made it into the company, and, later, Crescent.
- 16| FAMILY ー
- ° Liu Bai (ironically enough, his last name means “kill/destroy,” while his first name means “white/pure”) || born: 23 December 1654 || died: 13 July 1693 (age: 39)
- ° Kim Jaehee || born: 12 March 1432 || died: 1 August 1736 (age: 304)
- ° she never had any siblings, and, as far as she knew, both of her parents were only children. Bai was a mortal through and through, while Jaehee’s parents had both been killed in a war when she was only 187. (only—only 187 years old. Yep, that’s a completely normal sentence)
- ° she got all of her mother’s vampire traits. the only physical difference between Jade and a full-blooded vampire (whether turned or born) is that she needs both blood and human food, although a lesser amount than actual humans, to survive. This isn’t something she thinks about often, and usually only feeds on blood every once in awhile. This, combined with her high level of activeness, makes it hard for her to keep on weight and keep a healthy percentage of fat
- [ BOY DIVISION ] ✦
- PERSONA | INTERESTS
- 19| PERSONALITY ー Jade is the perfect fit to be the leader of Crescent. She’s leader more people through more challenging conditions (being a kpop idol is definitely difficult, but comparing that to 17th century war? No competition there) and has gotten the majority of them out alive, and they were even mortals. She the traits necessary for a leader to have. She pays attention to her members, knows when something gets out of hand, and doesn’t let it happen anymore. As much as she loves them all, she won’t hesitate to be firm and punish them when it’s necessary. And them talking back to her, especially when trying to convince her to lighten up a punishment, has less effect than if they were to talk to a rock. At least her punishments are always very fair and, well, deserved. She also has the “shut up and listen” kind of voice one would find in a general. If and when she uses that tone, everyone is going to shut up and listen to what she has to say. That’s not the kind of tone one talks over if they enjoy life.
- Patiently impatient is one way to describe her. She can pretend to have a surprising amount of patience and she can and will wait for something, if she knows that it’s necessary or inevitable to wait for. But she hates waiting and easily gets fed up with people, no matter how little she shows it. There are at least three times each day where she cannot, for the life of her, remember why the hell she puts up with this idol mess. She has to be responsible for six hyper, immortal, little-sleeping children, do all of her leaderly jobs to keep things running smoothly, entertain the fans, AND not look like she’s ready to kill anyone who so much as looks at her, all at once. It’s a lot of work, even for an immortal ex-warrior. But, she’s good at hiding her emotions. She tends to have a constant resting bitch face or at least some kind of poker face going on. She usually tries to keep her mouth shut when they’re out and about, but she can’t stop herself from constantly rolling her eyes at what goes on around her. She’s always making promises to herself about getting through the day (“If you make it to midnight without killing anyone, you can read that book you’ve really been wanting to start.” or “Two more times. LOOKHERE has to scream two more times before you can smack her.” (Although she’d never hit her children, this is mostly to keep herself entertained.)).
- She’s a pretty good teacher, and she loves to help the members out and teach them things, especially with dancing or singing. Even if she’s not the best at them, she feels like she should be one giving them tips, because she knows them, their styles, what kind of phrases/instructions makes most sense to them, better than the company’s instructors who train so many people in a day, they don’t know the idols as personally. And Jade is just naturally good at giving out advice.
- She’s a big stickler for health. For her members, this means any kind of health, whether it be eating enough, sleeping enough, not drinking or smoking, whatever. She’s is always trying to make sure they’re healthy. For herself, on the other hand, she’s more focused on making sure she still feels healthy and isn’t going to collapse. She needs to eat right, eating enough doesn’t really matter. She needs to sleep as little as possible for her mental health (because her nightmares and night terrors always throw her off emotionally), but just enough so that she’s not collapsing and is still coherent enough to make sure none of her children set themselves or anyone else on fire. She exercises a lot in various different forms, because it makes her feel better. To her, she comes last, and the members all matter first. She needs to make sure they’re all tucked into bed asleep before she can change into her pajamas. If they’re not eating enough, it’s her meal that gets slowly added onto their plate or into their glass, if we’re talking about blood. She doesn’t allow herself to be, what is in her mind, selfish enough to think that her needs come before theirs. She doesn’t allow herself to even think about herself until they’re all taken care of.
- Her members are HERS. That’s how she thinks of them. It’s not in a possessive sense, not really, but she feels like they’re hers to take care of, hers to protect, hers to comfort. As much as she appears to be the laidback, “I want nothing to do with these fools,” “I’m way too cool for this,” kind of leader, she’s so incredibly overprotective of her members. She’s always watching where they are, checking that they’re okay, and nothing is wrong. She would be the first to jump to their defense in any issue. Even if there’s nothing for her to really “defend,” she prefers to be by their side when they do anything, both to let them know she’s with them and there to help and to comfort herself in knowing that she’s right there in case anything goes wrong or if they need anything. She honestly pities any kind of hater that makes themselves known to the group. To her, an attack on her children is an attack on her, and she would strongly advise picking sides wisely in a war with her.
- Although she often projects a stone cold, distant leader image, she is really soft for her members, and they often test her will in not to instantly crumble beneath their cuteness. And her fans. She likes to project that icy, yet gorgeous image for them, but she really does love them and enjoy making them happy (even if it means all of her members and the fans ganging up on her to make her do aegyo).
- She has taken up the position of being the mother of the group partially due to her own maternal instincts and partially because she knows that, especially with something difficult like being an idol, having that kind of person you can trust and count on to take care of everything is vital, especially since many of the members have never really experienced having a “mom” (herself included, and she really wishes she could have had a mom figure in her life at some point) or who have moms that are dead or that they can’t contact at all. So, she’s taken up that place in their little family of a kpop group.
- The members are close with Jade, she’s made sure of that. She’s done everything she can to make sure that they are utterly comfortable with her and with telling her absolutely anything. They know that she’s a person they can go to, even if they feel like they have no one, who knows what they need for comfort and who will keep their secrets.
- Despite this, Jade isn’t close with the members. She doesn’t let them know her secrets, nor does she ever dare complain about her own problems to them. She feels like she needs to seem invincible to them, so that they don’t ever worry about her when they have their own things to worry about, or that they don’t feel like they shouldn’t tell her something because she has enough on her own plate. She has make it so they feel that she can take on anything, and still come up victorious, that, when everything looks bad, Jade knows how to make it right again.

- ° singing old Chinese songs under her breath, especially when she’s trying to comfort herself or someone else/calm herself down
- ° cleaning her sword after a nightmare or a night terror

- 21| PHOBIAS/FEARS ー
- ° losing those she loves + not being able to protect someone she cares for
- ° sleeping > she hates her nightmares and night terrors, and usually only sleeps when she knows that, if she doesn’t, she’ll collapse
- 22| DISORDERS ー
- ° she often bad nightmares about her family and Xiuying dying and some of the terrible things she’s seen during wars, and this goes along with the night terrors (waking up in the middle of the night with an extreme feeling of fear) she has almost every time she sleeps
- ° she hasn’t told her members about this, either. She doesn’t tend to make noise during them, aside from twisting in her sheets, but she just claims that she moves a lot in her sleep, because a lot of people do. She wants to be the “rock” for her group, and she feels like them knowing her problems would make her less of a “sound” place to go to for comfort

- ° large glasses > she doesn’t care whether they look goofy or not (although her group definitely does), she loves them
- ° jewelry > Jade enjoys necklaces and bracelets and rings and anything else of the sort. Her love of these and of gems is why she chose the name “Jade” ; she especially adores diamonds
- ° instrumental, classical, acoustic, and indie music > Jade enjoys listening to what she considers the “raw” music, actual instruments and voices with little to no overlay of auto tune or some kind of electronic beat
- ° horses > her parents were apart of a cavalry unit, so she grew up around horses, and just kind of fell in love with them then. she has also been in a lot of cavalry units since then
- ° playing card games and gambling > she loves poker and has a great poker face
- ° healthy food > she’s a very picky eater when it comes to human food ; she loves salads, fruits, vegetables, etc.
- ° jellybeans > she hates all kinds of candy, except for jelly beans, which she absolutely adores
- ° snow and ice > if there is snow, you should hide, Jade is a master at snowball fights
- ° art galleries > she just loves the quiet and the beauty of them
- ° empty beaches > she’s a fan of swimming, and she likes the idea of being so alone with such a giant mass of water that stretches across the entire world
- ° philosophy > she’s deep and likes how a lot of philosophy gives her a new perspective on things or makes her think about things in way she never thought about
- 27| DISLIKES ー
- ° guns > she thinks they’re way too loud and lack all of the finess
- ° xenophobia > she has never really understood the human concept of making imaginary borders and hating everyone on the other side of those borders
- ° homophobia > she doesn’t understand the big deal different types of love ; she was also influenced by her parents being two different species, and still loving each other
- ° sleeping > her subconscious hasn’t gotten the message that she’s made peace with what happened while she was in China
- ° heavy, fattening, unhealthy food, fast food, etc. > she hates the taste of it
- ° red meat > she prefers chicken and fish
- ° sweets, desserts, candy, etc. > her taste is very sensitive ; she won’t eat anything too sweet or too sour or too bitter, etc.
- ° hot days and summer > she has memories of having to hide in the tents trying not to burst into flame while her soldiers were out fighting and of being stuck in boiling armor as dawn quickly approached, and having to be dragged off of the battlefield because she didn’t want to leave her army
- ° being stuck inside for long periods of time > she’s the kind of person that needs to be moving and to be active so she doesn’t go insane
- ° the idea that women are lesser or that they should always be obedient and subservient > yeah...just, no
- 28| TRIVIA ー
- ° her instagram handle is: @AxeJadelle_76 > she started her instagram because one of her French friends urged her to, hence, the use of her French name has the user
- ° the profile pic she uses for her instagram : http://scontent.cdninstagram.com/t51.2885-15/s480x480/e35/13774304_310721619261322_1906226563_n.jpg?ig_cache_key=MTMwNDgyMTU3NzI0NjgyNzg2Ng%3D%3D.2
- ° is actually a decent choreographer, and could be quite good once she gets more practice at it > she’s had centuries of planning out battles, and, to her, a choreography isn’t that much different
- ° Jade really wants to be on the ISACs > putting aside the natural vampire athletic-y stuff, she’s an excellent shot with an bow and arrow
- ° she makes sure there’s always fresh flowers in the dorm > most people think this is just her being motherly, but she really just wants a reminder of why she’s there (Xiuying)
- ° although she’s gay, no one in Korea knows > she knows that it’s not a very accepted thing (although she still openly supports gay rights, and has been caught checking out other girls on multiple occasions), and she would rather not have to face the backlash of it, because she knew it would make her a bit glad that Xiuying wasn’t alive to be there for that
- ° she exercises daily > this could mean going on a run, going to the gym, practicing sword fighting, etc.)
- ° she keeps her prized sword (the one that’s been with her since her first battle and that she’s somehow managed to keep ahold of, even through airport customs) hanging on her wall of the dorm > she often cleans it whenever she has a nightmare ; the sword is a physical representation of her old life and her old family, and she wants to keep those memories clear, but she can’t do that if the sword isn’t clear itself
- ° she has a special deck of beautifully handpainted playing cards she got from France
- ° she cannot cook to save her life > she would probably poison the entire dorm if she ever tried cooking for them
- ° she’s usually the last to fall asleep and one of the first awake in the dorm > if she even sleeps, that is
- ° her favorite colors are gold and silver > she loves the regal aesthetic of them, like she does with diamonds and gems

- SKILLS | VARIETY
- 29| VARIETY SKILLS ー unless directly asked or realizing that things are going bad (like, it’s getting awkward, the other members are tired, etc.), Jade doesn’t usually step into the spotlight during variety shows. She’s more content to sit back and watch the others showing off like the proud mother she is. She usually doesn’t speak much during the games and different corners (unless to nudge one of the other members into doing something or to congratulate and praise them), but, when things are more interview-y, she feels as though she needs to talk more, because she’s the leader. Jade is pretty apathetic about variety shows. She’s not necessarily comfortable or uncomfortable on them (unless one of her members is), she just doesn’t really have a strong opinion on them. She likes how the fans love it and how it gives the members chances to show off, but she kinda feels like they’re a waste of time. Despite this, she can get into them, and actually have fun on them.
- 30| VARIETY INTERESTS ー for her, it depends on the day. If she feels particularly bored or cooped up or active, she’d rather it be a competitive show, because she can have fun on them much more easily. If she’s just kinda done with humans (or realizing her members aren’t feeling the best), she’d rather the group go on a comedic show, because it means she has to do less and it always makes the mood better
- 31| SELF-INTRODUCTION ー “Hello everyone, I’m Crescent’s leader, ZH. Please take care of us.”
- 32| INSPIRATION/IDOLS ー
- ° Xiuying > this is pretty much explained in the background, but she loved Jade’s voice and she taught her to dance
- 33| REGULAR SAYINGS ー
- ° “You’re going to hurt yourself. Let me do it.”
- ° “I’m fine.” (When someone points out she’s lost weight, needs sleep, etc.)
- ° “You need to ____.” (When taking care of the members, as in, saying they need to go to bed or to eat breakfast or something.)
- ° “Listen to me!” (And they do…)
- 34| ON CAMERA/STAGE ー although she has the skill for it (or at least when concerning dance), she’s not a main vocal or dancer. When she’s on stage, she’s usually with the other members, and she wants to make sure they shine. So, whenever she’s apart of a group performance, she makes sure to tone herself down, so that the attention goes to the others. She doesn’t dance or sing solo often enough for the fans to really notice her own skill.
- When she’s on camera, but off stage, she does a bit of the same thing. When she’s not in the position to be talking a lot as a leader, she tends to keep quiet. The more attention there is on her, the less there is on her members, and she doesn’t like that. So, she keeps up her “stone cold” facade, trying to stay out of things as much as possible. If she is asked about it, she just claims to be a bit shy. She is also known for encouraging the other members to do things to show off their skills.
- 35| OFF CAMERA/STAGE ー she lets a lot more of her personality shine through when they’re offstage. There’s a lot more fussing over the members or teasing/yelling (not like mad yelling, though, that rarely happens) at them for some of the stupid shit they’ve done. Mostly, the members and those who know her away from the crowds and cameras think she’s just shy. When she’s just messing around with the members, like singing or dancing or something, she gives it her all, definitely.
- 36| FANSERVICE ー
- ° selfies
- ° dance videos (covers and/or choreography)
- [ CEMETERY DRIVE ] ✦
- LOVE | PREFERENCES
- 37| SEXUAL PREFERENCE ー homosexual
- 38| ROMANTIC PREFERENCE ー homoromantic
- 39| IDEAL TYPE ー
- ° personality: she loves a girl who is strong and can hold her own, yet still needs to be and put up with Jade looking after her and doting on her like the overprotective mother she can be. Someone who is passionate about something, and isn’t afraid to share that passion. Someone who can stand the late nights of her not wanting to go to bed, who can make her feel safe to close her eyes, who will stay up with her when the nightmares hit. Preferably someone immortal. She’s lost one lover, and doesn’t know if she can handle losing another (granted, she doesn’t think she’d be able to stomach turning someone that close to her, true love or not). Someone who will cook for her and remind her to eat.
- ° looks: someone not that short, but not taller than she is. Long hair, slim face. Weight doesn’t matter, but they have to be able to keep up with her activeness (she would love to take runs with her girlfriend in the mornings). Not someone who looks too young or cutesy. She’s been around long enough to not give a damn about race or ethnicity.
- 40| EXAMPLE ー a real example of what their ideal type is like (idols, celebs, etc)
- ° personality: Nehemia from Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas
- ° looks: she finds Ailee to be quite beautiful (then again, who doesn’t?)
- 41| ATTRACTIONS ー kind of quiet in public situations, unless her passion is brought up, that is. Then, she’ll talk your ear off. Athletic. Able to sit in silence for long periods of time without it getting awkward.
- 42| TURN OFFS ー anyone who’s too happy, who has too much an idealist view on life (she can deal with them as friends, but wouldn’t be able to manage with a happy-go-lucky person as her significant other), someone who’s too sad all of the time or focuses only on the bad.
- [ DISENCHANTED ] ✦
- EXTRA | SUGGESTIONS
- 43| SCENE SUGGESTIONS ー
- ° A heartful night with all of the vampires sharing the stories of their past (possibly with alcohol, because, ya know) (her coming out as gay to her members, and most of them being like, “I knew it!” and explaining how bad she is at hiding it)
- ° A drinking scandal with a member who looks and pretends to be underaged, but is actually like 50?
- ° Crescent being at a restaurant or eating dinner on the couches at the dorm, and suddenly all of them breaking out into song and harmonizing and everything
- ° A snowball fight or a paintball fight where Jade and one of the competitive members are the team captains, and it’s brutal
- ° Jade knocking over a glass while she’s waking up from a nightmare. The noise wakes up the whole dorm because, ya know, it’s shattering glass, and they all come running. When they ask her what’s wrong, she just shrugs them off and leaves as quickly as she can. (She probably goes on a walk aimlessly, and maybe one of the more mature members she’s close with follows her?)
- ° Someone insulting the members, and they say something that makes Jade snap and tell them off quite horribly
- ° One of the younger members spilling blood all over their performance outfit
- ° One of the younger members forgetting to feed, and having to be held back by the other members
- ° One of the members making a deal with her that they’ll only sleep/eat/take a break if she does
- ° Jade putting on her “shut up and listen” voice, and giving the members a motivational speech before a performance
- ° Jade telling one of the other members her birth name
- ° something happening to their blood supply (maybe it spoils or the place they got it from starts to run low) and the older members have to go without blood for a while longer than they’re used to. (like, they get crankier, weaker, more on edge, their eyes are always glowing, etc.)
- ° Jade losing more weight than usual (maybe due to stress or the blood supply idea), and there are adverse effects from that. Like, she gets dizzy on stage once and, when the performance is over, collapses backstage. Because of this, it becomes more real to the other members just how much she does for them and doesn’t do for herself, so they force her to rest and let them take care of her for a change (+ the crazy shit that happens when the mom isn’t there to deal with everything and one of the other members taking over the position of being the parent) (also Jade getting low-key emotional from this, because she’s had to be the strong one for so many centuries)
- ° Someone calling out Jade on her less-than-spectacular performing skills and claiming her to be the “weakest link” of the group, and some of the members, after watching her in a video with them and noticing her not doing her best, asking her why she tones herself down when on stage.
- ° One of the other members telling her a huge secret of theirs.
- 44| SONG/MV/CONCEPT SUGGESTIONS ー
- ° Theme: either something bloody/gore-y or something very rich and regal. It just depends whether you want to go the route of “so, they’re all vampires and they drink blood and all of that and, oh, did I mention that they’re vampires?” or “these idols are immortal creatures. Bask upon their ethereal beauty and supernatural ‘otherness.’”
- ° (Good mvs are marked with a *)
- ° Coed songs or songs that could be coed:
- ° Don’t Recall [os: K.A.R.D.] * (good for a more regal theme)
- ° Rumor [os: K.A.R.D.]
- ° Oh Na Na [os: K.A.R.D.]
- ° Ribbon in the Sky [os: B.A.P.]
- ° Blind [os: B.A.P.]
- ° Voodoo Doll [os: Vixx] * (good for a bloody theme)
- ° Get Down [os: Boys’ Republic] * (good for a bloody theme)
- ° Born to be Wild [os: Triple T]
- ° Single gender songs that probably couldn’t be coed, but that’s just my opinion:
- ° Hobgoblin [os: CLC]
- ° Cactus [os: A.C.E.]
- ° Chase Me [os: DreamCatcher] * (good for a haunted theme)
- ° Good Night [os: DreamCatcher] * (good for a haunted theme)
- 45| ALBUM NAME SUGGESTIONS ー Moonlit Night, Under the Moonlight, In the Dead of Night, As Dead As a Doornail, Coffin Callings, Older-than-Dirt Lullabies, Fanged Folksongs, Sparkly Serenades, Why-Am-I-Writing-A-Form-At-Midnight-This-Is-Bad, yeah, I may be a bit bored. My first few were serious, at least
- 46| FANDOM NAME ー group : stars, beams/moonbeams, midnights|| individual : gems ?? (I’m not good at these)
- 47| FANDOM COLORS ー Are red and silver too cliche? Granted, if their company really wants to play up the whole “Vampire” concept, they’d go with this. Maybe navy and gold. Dark and regal.
- 48| ANYTHING ELSE ー (you don’t have to use these, I just figured it might help a bit, especially since these aren’t very well known fcs)
