  1. 1+2) Freedom dividend is meant to be the floor as a safety cushion. This already has far more relative value for lower income families. Less stigma - everyone can choose to receive it. Alleviates some toxic class warfare talking points.
  2. (My opinion) It will have less bureaucracy - by keeping things simple it runs more smoothly and less prone to errors. Everyone would receive the freedom dividend on time.
  3. 3) Unemployment numbers are inaccurate. It only accounts for those recently unemployed. Long-time unemployed are discarded into the invisible pile.
  4. 4) Andrew wrote in his book that US is only advanced nation without paid maternity/paternity leave. Joining a shortlist of other obscure nations such as Papua New Guinea, Suriname, Swaziland.
  5. Freedom dividend would be one of the ways that gives mothers and fathers the option to take care of their newborn. Many families are living paycheck to paycheck. So I guess newborns have somehow been able to change their own diapers.
