- Fire Emblem 7 Hector Hard Mode Ironman
- Premise:
- Beat the game without resetting/reloading
- Rules:
- - Start from Hector's story
- - No resetting/reloading chapters
- - No RNG manipulation
- - No glitches
- - Gaidens are optional (can't do all of them without Lyn mode anyway)
- - Any game over results in a failed playthrough
- The premise is simple- beat the game without restarting a chapter. You roll with what you get. Suspending (temporary save to reload later) is allowed. If you game over, you go back
- There's a good chance I'll be restarting the run a few times- I suspect this will be difficult. Depending on how far I make it, I may take a break and come back later, but we'll see how it goes
- I'm using a Lua script to output the active units' stats to the stream. No other tools are used to look at the in-game memory
- No RNG manipulation means I won't be using any techniques to track the game's RNG. Instead, at the beginning of every stream session, I'll load a save file and effectively randomize the beginning seed by moving a cursor around, then suspending the game and playing off of the main file
- This is my second FE ironman. I haven't looked at anyone else's ironman strategies, so this playthrough will be using resources and my own intuition to figure it out
- Please be normal in the chat. If you can't read the room/want everyone to know how much you know about Fire Emblem, you'll likely get timed out. No one cares if you're a "knower". Instead, be cool and hang out. I might get a detail wrong or make a mistake- it's going to be OK, I promise. Most people are fine, but there's always someone out there waiting to ruin the chat
