Seneca of the Dragon 8

[22:03] It was better to hunt together, than to hunt alone. The Demon had moved through the very outskirts of Messaris. Using their shadows to hide their form. They'd jump through the trees to eventually spot Seneca. While they didn't seem to be too impressive of an individual, besides their horns and wings... these features were notably magi features. And thus, prey was found.

Using the shadows of their magic once more to cover their form and push it into expansion; the bat Demon swooped on down toward Seneca, aiming to tackle into their form before moving a small distance away.

"I'll have a meal today. Perfect."

Was Shallina even noticed? If not, the Bat Demon would send her a telepathic message. To help out with the plan that the Demon had in mind.

[22:05] Saw the demon and chose the wiser side of valor. Moving to run the hell away.

[22:06] Shallina blinks a few times in surprise as Metztli suddenly transformed.

"Oh!"

Surprise quickly becomes fear, burning its way across her expression. "N-No! Demon, you tricked me!" panic quickly grips her, and she turns tail and runs away, toward hiding.

[22:06] The Bat flies off after Seneca, intending to capture them!

[22:14] The Femboy of the lake was fully intent on getting the hell out of there the moment he saw a demon leap down from the trees. Casting shadows about the air like some kind of dark blot upon the sky.

Normally the man would have leapt into battle but they'd just escaped barely escaped alive from another demon. However, they'd have the speed to keep away from the demon as well but...

'N-No! Demon, you tricked me!'

It hit harder than anything as the voice rang out. He skirted to the side, dodging the demons hurtling form as it sought to catch him.

His wings flaired as he pulled forth his sword. Rushing back and around to position himself between Shallina and Metztli. His silvery scales glistened as the man lowered, thick layers of bones hardening upon the keratin scales. Forming a second layer of armor.

"Fair not ma'am! I shall handle this fiend! Seek shelter further in the city and alert the Knights!" He lowered and angled his blade forwards. Eyes slowly beginning to glow as the lines between his bone armor started to glow. He was a fiery one as the draconic warrior called forth his ancestory.

Rushing the demon down, his right hand morphing into a draconic claw as he sought to battle the demon up close and personally.

Curse the ways of Heroism.

[22:15] The boy was stumbling around, dizzy as he was, but he still managed to be able to see what was going on. This sudden feeling of wrongness in the air, the sudden appearance of a strange creature. It was a demon!

And not just a demon, but a demon attempting to KIDNAP someone! He gasped, lifting his head up and stumbling forward once more, to try and catch what was going on.

[22:23] The bat took to the air and was quick to launch an all-out assualt on Seneca. However the young Drakan was a powerful opponent. he was able to shoot spears of bone that would knock the beast out of the sky by hitting it in the wings, causing temporary moments of vulnerability. He was strong. Fierce. Perhaps too strong.

In a moment of anxiety, the Bat moved forward with one of their feet absorbing the light out form the environment around them. Taking away thelight, the occult Claw swung toward Seneca. Knocking the Drakan femboy into the nearby river. Where he had te chance to escape the wrath of the bat.

[22:30] The battle began with a roar! The bat took the defensive at first, gaining air as they moved for Seneca's charge. However, the man leapt afterwards great wings billowing out behind him.

That was a mistake as it ended with the assault pushing them back. In a vicious locking of combat they found themselves where they did there best. Up close with the demon, his body hurt from the torture he'd received at there kind.

It ached, the taint of occultism upon his spirit, the rending of his flesh, the branding he'd suffered... It all came to boil over in the battle. As they got close his teeth gnashed at the demon, jagged draconic daggers seeking to rend flesh. As his scales split, spiked arcs of bone reaching out to rend and tear.

It wasn't that he was overpowering his foe, quite the contrary. This rush of draconic wrath was brought about by fear. Fear of losing, fear of the innocents nearby taking the danger of the demon should he fail.

Yet, it was enough to shock the demon and in doing so gurantee at-least Seneca's survival. As he was cast into the river with a mighty swing of her claws.

The Wilhelm scream that he radiated as he flew into the water was oh so satisfying to all involved.

[22:34] Ah. That didn't seem to help much. He opened his mouth to speak, feeling awful about her leaving on such a bad note. Though, its not like anyone could blame her.

"Ah...er, I'm staying with my teacher in Messaris, if meeting there would be easier-" He cut himself off upon hearing Kircheis' parting words. The lovely thought it was there, though Cleo doubted if that exactly was what the girl wanted to hear at the moment.

"Anyways, it was nice meeting you, Lira. Take care, and I hope to see you soon."
