 <p class="une"style="text-align:left">General Rules and Guidlines:<br /><br />1) This chat is primarily for roleplay. Don't cause a disturbance when roleplay is going, and keep OOC to a minimum. <br />2) Keep OCC (out-of-character) seperate from IC (in-character). <br>3) PC a staff member to verify your character to be sure they fit the setting.<br />3) Don't post explicit images, or use them as icons. <br>4) No advertising.<br />5) Be civil. Don't be pedantic about what rules aren't listed, or look for loopholes in the rules.</p>
<p class="two" style="text-align: left;">Roleplay Etiquette: <br /><br />• Characters should be appropriate for the setting of the roleplay. <br />• Do not god-mod, auto, powergame, or nopegame.<br />• There is no enforced post-order, but we ask that people not post over each other. Post after whoever is already posting is finished.</p>
 <p class="two"style="text-align:left">Clarification & Definitions: <br><br>PC: A player's character <br>NPC: Non-Player Character. <br><br>Powergame: Declaring an action upon or towards another player character to be successful without giving them the chance to respond or make their own decision. (i.e., forcing actions upon a PC, controlling someone elses character, etc.) <br><br>nopegame: Taking OOC knowledge and applying it IC; Using info your character would have no way of knowing IC to your advantage. <br><br>God-Modding: When a character is "invincible" or "cannot be killed," can't be hit/dodge everything and anything, and their powers have no limits or boundaries. </p>

<p class="une2"style="text-align:left">Welcome to Bettersburg, a small town set in Georgia, USA in the roarin' 80s! <br>On the surface, Bettersburg is your typical tiny retro town where nothing bad ever seems to happen, but there's something sticky going on beneath the surface. Strange supernatural and paranormal happenings are popping up all over Bettersburg, whether it be teens with odd abilities or mythical monsters prowling the forest between this quaint little town and the rest of civilization! <br>Lucky for the citizens of Bettersburg, the government seems hard at work trying to keep the chaos at bay and properly covering it up in all forms of 80s media! However, there may be something more sinister at work here than even the government, or some of the supernaturally inclined residents, like the whispers and rumors of a secret black op organization bent on getting rid of info-leaks and freaks!<br><br>Our quaint little town features the Bettersburg Highschool, home of the Bettersburg Badgers--the Football team. Down Main Street you'll find the townsquare where you'll find many small shops, a maltshop, and a bar. Plus, as any town should have, there is a small hospital and police station. Branching off Main Street, there are residential areas aswell.<br>Main St. leads out of the town and through the thick woods surround the town on all sides. Not far outside the west-side of town is a lumber factory, and towards the east-side there's a lovely lake with a small space cleared out around it for a campsite that features a cabin.</p>
