  1. 'Sup, doods!

  3. When Pokémon Puzzle League was announced for the Switch and I announced plans to stream it last week, my mother was already exhibiting signs, mostly extreme fatigue. By the time Thursday came around, she had enough trouble breathing that she called 911. She came home that night with a positive test.

  5. That night was also when it all started for me. I got super tired and went to sleep early. I was about to pull a dick move by going to work on Friday and getting tested over the weekend, but I got talked out of it. I got tested on Friday and spent the rest of the day in bed with a fever. Saturday was mostly spent with stiffness from laying in bed for over 10 hours, coughing, and congestion, though I was well enough to broadcast the Wario's Woods minor speedrun tournament that TetrisAttakr did a bang-up job of commentating. I woke up yesterday with a sore throat and dealt with an upset stomach all day. That morning also gave me my test result:

  7. POSITIVE

  9. Honestly, this is more of an inconvenience than anything else. Despite having no booster shots, I have only experienced minor symptoms to this point. Headaches have been somewhat persistent, appetite has gone down, and things definitely taste differently than before, but I've experienced nothing serious. As isolated as I tend to live, I truly believed that I would never test positive so long as my mother was able to avoid it and, well, you should be able to tell how that turned out. I could not have done a thing about it, anyway, so I have no regrets. All I can do now is rest for a few days until the symptoms go away.

  11. Anyway, personal goals for extra streaming time:
  12.
  13. Goal #4b: set up layouts for the PPL tournament. With the extra time life has just granted me, I expect to be able to power through a bunch of this over the next few days.
  14. Goal #5: script and record footage for my Puzzle League tutorial series. I am writing down concepts for YouTube shorts I want to film. I've got dozens of videos in mind. I am currently scheduled to pick up my permanent dentures on Thursday so I should be more inclined to record talking points sooner rather than later.
  15. Goal #6: clean up my own stream layout. I don't expect to get to this anytime soon.

  17. Pokémon Puzzle League on the Switch on Friday! See you then!

  19. That’s my life story for the week. Later, doods!
