Ruby is always seen smiling and she's always laughing and telling jokes. Her teeth are seen 90% of the time and she's mostly seen slapping her thigh in laughter. There's almost no way you can see sad Ruby but when she is sad or feeling a negative feeling, she goes dead silent because she feels the pressure to be happy and when she's not happy, she doesn't want to show it. When she's feeling excited, she can get really loud and she'll probably be screaming her ass off.

Ruby is always playing pranks with TEKE TEKE, sometimes even playing pranks on her. Because of this, it is almost impossible to prank Ruby as she's the prank master herself and probably knows every prank in the world. Sometimes, she comes of as irritating and annoying but she doesn't intend to annoy anyone, she's just doing it for laughs.

Ruby makes friends really easily and she's a sociable girl. She's willing to talk to anyone, even strangers if she has to. As a result, she has a lot of friends and is always getting requests to hang out, which she turns down most of the time because she doesn't want to go out. But still, she's well liked by her friends. Because she's an extrovert, public speaking is no problem for her and she's not afraid to approach people to become friends.

Ruby is a curious girl and is always looking for new information, which is why she can be seen in the library most of the time doing research on medicine or just new things in general. As a result of her curiosity, Ruby is quite smart and likes to share her knowledge with TEKE TEKE because Ruby gets excited over learning new things.

Even though Ruby is a master at remembering every medicine in her clinic and every information she learns, she forgets the little things like where her keys are or where she put the medicines. BACKGROUND: Ruby was born in Melbourne but moved to Sydney shortly after her birth. Her family consists of her Mother, Father and older brother, Reuben Kang Raesung. Being the youngest, Ruby was the most liked which resulted in some arguments with her and Raesung but as they grew up, they got more mature and closer.

Ever since Ruby was young, she was a little bit different from her friends, not in a bad way. Her brain was much more mature and while her friends were playing with legos and action figures, she was reading non-fiction books about animals and natural disasters. As a result, she was always ahead of everyone and always scored top in her class. She was envied by her classmates which sometimes resulted in bullying. Actually, not sometimes, all the time.

She was bullied for being a "nerd" and the bullies in her class would always take her homework to copy. Sometimes during tests, they would threaten Ruby if she didn't let them copy her answers. It was quite traumatising for her since she was a young girl at that time. No one dared to help too because they were scared, she couldn't blame them. The teachers were all in her side, but that just made everything worse. She would get bullied physically and verbally, but she always tried to hide her wounds from her parents because she doesn't want to worry them. Her brother in the other hand, found out when he saw Ruby come home with a bruise in her cheek and when she yawned, he shirt would lift up and reveal the bruises on her stomach. He tried talking to her about it and she poured everything to him. He was absolutely furious and went to her school to teach the bullies a lesson. The bullies were frightened by Raesung and didn't really dare to bully Ruby anymore, well at least in front of her. Most of the time, they would talk behind her back, but to Ruby, it was much better than beating her up.

She managed to survive and when she graduated, she couldn't be happier. She was so ready to go to highschool and start a new life, she was sick of being a "nerd". She got into a really good highschool that was in Korea, so she had to live by herself. Because of this, she had to find ways to support herself. She didn't want to depend on her parents' money so she decided to work part-time as a Barista at a cafe nearby her school, so she could go there straight after school.

Jungwoo and Ruby got close and you could consider them best friends. Ruby was following Jungwoo to visit his mother, who was suffering from dissociative identity disorder, at the mental hospital and when they got there, they saw his mother going crazy and lots of doctors were surrounding her. Both of them got very worried and when they took a closer look, his mother was holding a knife and threatened to hurt the doctors. Jungwoo immediately went forward to try to stop his mother but it was almost impossible. She swung her knife and was about to stab jungwoo, but Ruby pushed him aside and ended up getting stabbed. They weren't able to save her in time and she died from excessive blood loss.
