The Saiyan settles into his new motivation to train after his defeat against the Resistance Leader Vegas. While not being able to touch Vegas in the battle he began to realize his glaring weakness of losing out to skill. In the beginning he had been always over-shadowed by the powers of Cryotic, Cassava, and Tagigo which meant he needed to increase the amount of skill he had to compete. Now obtaining power that very few, if any, have been able to naturally reach leads Celerus to once again begin his training in building up his natural skill. One of Celerus' glaring weaknessess had been his usage of ki, which he learned to balance out by using melee based attacks like an Axe Kick, Sweeping Kick,and his Dragon Fist signature. Though now he witnessed a more combination based attack during the fight. Vegas made it clear that he would not be going all out, but he certainly expect the fight he got. Celerus had been able to hold his own against the 'Fast' combination of his opponent

Now Celerus would set up a simulation that he could use to practice the attack on trying to remember exactly how Vegas had done it. The Guy was unnaturally fast and made it look easy which Celerus was about to find out was not that simple. Now he would hit his clone with all of his force to send it flying backwards. Kicking off the ground Celerus would dash after the clone but he was noticing he struggling with keeping up with speed to make the combo as effective. As he remembered it was quick movements that followed up one after the other but even Celerus knew he struggled to match the physical level of Vegas in that light, but it wasn't just that. He was trying to imitate the man verbatim and it was clear he couldn't do physical attacks in the same manner as his body was far more different than his last opponent.

Celerus now sets the clone once more as he had done before as he aligns himself to try again. In his eyes things began to slow down as his body began to produce a great deal of adrenaline. In that sudden burst he would take off toward the simulation slamming his fist into the body to send it flying, immediately after doing so his legs would receive an partial boost in power as he centered his focus into them to increase his speed temporarily. Rather than have his strength be a priority, he focused on hitting his opponent with swift strikes that ranged in multitude and used the force to send them flying just to continue with a follow up afterwards.
