Tean (belief lower power) meets Richard the Rover

Tean took a seat on the white table. "Oi! Watch where you're going!," it said.

"Whaaa...?" Tean asked. A rover's mast cam rose up to full and pointed at Tean. It studied her for several seconds before looking at James.

"Human persons. It's been a while since I've seen a meat bag."

"Who are you?" Asked Tean.

"Arr One Cee Four. I'm the first rover designed of the fourth class. Maggie called me Richard."

"Maggie?"

"An old friend of mine. Say, my chronometer is malfunctioning, what year is it?"

"2707," said James.

"Huh. Maggie's been dead for a hundred years then." The conspicuous metal plates atop the mast camera, acting as eyebrows, depressed.

"Who was Maggie though?" Said Tean.

"We went on adventures together. One day I broke down, and she brought me to this habitat module while she left for spare parts. She... she never came back."

"Adventures?"

"Long story. Maybe there'll be a spinoff series discussing them."

"Hey I bet we can repair you. Manufacturing has changed a lot since 2607," said James.

"Oh now that would be fun," said Richard.
