- The setting sun was at Fisher’s back, which meant the guard was looking right into it as he came closer. Shading his eyes and blinking, he approached the bench and bent to look under it, unaware that an intruder lay less than a meter from where he stood.
- Fisher timed the moment for when the camera turned away, then struck cobra-fast. He shot out and grabbed the guard’s legs, yanking him off balance. The guard fell on his back, too shocked to even cry out, and Fisher dragged him back into the grass, jamming his forearm across the other man’s throat.
- He leaned on the guard’s carotid artery, sliding his other hand behind the man’s head. “Quiet,” Fisher admonished, as the man struggled against him. He kept up the pressure, and the guard’s movements became sluggish and uncoordinated. Finally, he went slack and passed out.
