Nightmare 02

Tatsuo had been dealing with a few loose ends trying a few ways to get the Mithril arm for his daughter Hamaki, but it seemed harder then not that he needed Balder for this job.

Perseus was out to do his training and he could help but feel a bit alone with all of his children growing up and all of them making up their own lives. Hirota was still around and so was Katsu, though Atsuo, Alexa, and Hamaki were all doing their own thing. Tatsuo felt more and more lonely since his kids were all doing their own business and him and Aoki were back to nearly being alone, thoug he didn't mind a bit of change.

While Tatsuo was bored he heard the door knock. He stood up from his chair and looked at the door and saw a letter was pushed in. Tatsuo wondered if the letter was from a certain someone he got incontact with. When Tatsuo opened the letter it was from one of the nightmare and it read:

"Tatsuo Ryozo-Nagano
It is I Nightmare 02 I have been researching your and Perseus movements and I have personally sought you out since you are the reason Perseus was able to defeat so many of us. So I am calling you out personally to defeat you so our leader doesnt need to bother with you at all and Perseus can turn into one of us. Meet me in the Secret waterway on the outside of Frostvale. There I will be waiting for you so I mamy kill you myself."

Tatsuo began to crumble up the letter and threw it away. He would then grab his sword Anemony and walked outside with it on his back.

On his way to the waterway, Tatsuo encountered Hamaki and spoke with her for a min before heading back to the waterway.

When he reached the water way, he saw that Hamaki had followed him. He wanted her to leave so she wouldn't get hurt, but he paused his words and simply smiled and rubbed her head.

"Just be safe"

After his words a strange water line appeated from the waterway and strike Hamaki out of the blue. After that the Nightmare appeared and began to talk.

"Welcome you inpudent weaklings.....I am Nightmare Numbe-"

Before the Nightmare could even finish his sentence, Tatsuo had already had his neck in wraps with his water whip them pulled it to the right and slapped him against the wall.

"Shouldn't have done that to my daughter!"

Tatsuo was already pissed right off the back of this battle. Would his eye trigger again? Only time would tell.

Hamaki was following her father in silence, clearly wanting to help him with nothing better to do, silently marching behind him as he entered place he was heading for, soon realizing that her father spotted and turned towards her, speaking a words that forced her to smile and left her open to strike, something that their opponent did take in consideration as it slashed the ookami just as she tried to jump back.

She landed and growled loudly as her left cheek appeared to be bleeding, a minor and shallow cut wound for her luck, though painful. She pulled her weapon and soon dashed at her opponent, swinging her weapon while roaring loudly only to observe as the nightmare blocked her strike and soon punched her in the stomach, pushing her away and forcing her to her knees as she found it hard to catch her breath, gasping loudly for air.

 "Damn it...I am not as agile...as I was with both arms..." she thought to herself while staring at her father and the nightmare with blurred vision.

Tatsuo would look at the nightmare with anger when he punched his daughter. Tatsuo's teeth began to grined as the nightmare dashed at him and tried to hit him with long blade. Tatsuo looked the blade and frowned more and it reminded him of the spear the Imperfect used against Balen and the others.

Tatsuo would evade the Nightmare's attemp to hit him, though right after the nightmare tried to fall back, but he quickly came back and forced his blade toward the nightmare's feet and swept him off them and pushed him into a wall.

Hamaki growled loudly and dashed once more, determinated to keep going with a blueish aura exploding around her just as she launched herself at the nightmare, soon swinging her weapon in the air as she attempted to attack the monster she and her father fought.

To her dissapointment the strike ended up being blocked once more by the nightmare, though this time with Hamaki having enough momentum to push herself away in time to avoid being striked, soon landing few feet away with her aura still enveloping her body.

Tatsuo watched as the nightmare would have dashed right past him in a blinding speed, but he tried to slow him down to help Hamaki out, but luckily for her she was able to block his forward attack and parried with her scythe ,forcing the nightmare to be pushed back.

Tatsuo then rushed toward the nightmare and pressed against his armor plating and tried to buy time.

When Tatsuo finished that, he kneed down to Hamaki and began to use his water magi to heal her cut on her cheek, though the Nightmare came back up from the water.

"I dont see how my Kin had so much trouble dealing with you guys when you were so weak!"

Hamaki observed her father and the nightmare fighting, groaning loudly as she forced herself on her feet, soon taking a deep breath and closing her eyes as she tried to focus, soon feeling as the pain from her cheek dissapeared with her fathers healing magic, forcing her to smile just as she tried to deal with the bruished stomach of her own.

She tried to focus her own energy around the muscles that were hit, attempting to fix at least a tiny bit of the damage that nightmare caused with its fist, only to once more land on her knees, feeling as her attempt failed and only wasted portion of her mana. She snarled loudly just before opening her eyes and looking at her father and the nightmare, slowly moving her hand towards her weapon just as she observed for now.

 "Damn it...one arm missing...and I am already this weak?" she thought ot herself with dread realization of how hopeless she felt right now with not being able to lay a hit against their enemy and with her will not remaining as strong as it used to be.

Tatsuo would see the nightmare coming out of the water and soon attempted to  hit him with a whip of it, though Tatsuo grabbedd it and pulled the nightmare forward forceablly. He would try and stab the Nightmare, but he would unsummon the wipe and dodge the attack, then he used his water abilities to shoot a massive ball at Tatsuo, but he would cut it in half.

The nightmaare looked at Tatsuo with a frown under his mask and got into his defensive position and tried to counter anything that might have been lashed out at him.

Tatsuo would step back for a moment and touched the ground. looking at the side a large spike would come out of the wall and stabbed the nightmare in the arm causing him to scream out in pain.

The ookami kept observing the situation for a longer while waiting for right moment to strike, soon sighing and getting on her feet as soon as she seen what her father did to the nightmare, seeing the opening and soon after dashing with her knees bent and her scythe swinging at her opponent. She roared loudly and soon stared with fear as the nightmare simply blocked her strike, pushing her away and forcing to her knees once more.

Hamaki panted loudly as she realized that despite her best attempts she was uanble to deal any damage to the nightmare, resulting with hears dropping and her lowering just as she stared at the ground in silence, not paying much of the attention to the fight right now, clearly getting depressed in worst possible moment.

 "I am useless...with one arm..." she thoguht to herself with her eyes narrowing.

Tatsuo watched as the nightmare tried to lung at hi with full force, but Tatsuo would evade just as fas ducking below the blade that he swung. When the nightmare tired to bounch back, Tatsuo would parry the nightmare with his sword. Right after, the Nightmare would swing again for Tatsuo's head, but was again parried by Tatsuo's blade. When Tatsuo tried to hit back that night mare dodge it by jumping upwards and hit the wall.

Tatsuo wnted to scream up to the nightmare to get down, but it knew that and jumped down hitting Tatsuo in his shoulder sending him aways to the wall.

Hamaki slowly lifted her head and slowly stood up, once more trying to hit the nightmare while observing as it went against her father, roaring loudly as her arm swinged with her weapon in it, though smilarly as before her strike eneded up being blocked by their opponent, with enough force in the move to allow Hamaki to jump back.

She cursed under her nose with quiet growl escaping her lips, feeling how helpless she was in the situation, unable to do anything to help her father.

Tatsuo would edge himself off of the wall and frowned as he tried to get out of the wall.

The nightmare looked at Tatsuo and laughed. He then looked at Hamaki and grined uner his mask.

"Poor little girl. Unable to help her father with just one arm HAHAHAHAH. "

The nightmare would pull out his arm toward Hamaki and attempted to blast him with several sphere's of Water, but she seemed to cut through them all. Non of the spheres of water hit Hamaki and the nightmare smiled under his helmet.

Tatsuo tried to shoot out a few bubbles of water at the nightmare, but he saw that the nightmare put up a wall of water to block them.

Hamaki kept kneeling on the ground with her head lowered and eyes closed, clearly annoyed by entire situation and her being helpless, not realizing as the nightmare charged at her, swiftly getting closer and preparing to strike the ookami, appearing like it was going to success until her eyes opened suddenly as soon as she heard a vague voice echoing within her head.

 "You are Ryozo...do not give up....FIGHT!"  the voice exclaimed with faint presence enveloping around before dissapearing compeletly. The voice caused Hamaki to grab the weapon just before roaring loudly and blocking the strike with her hilt, soon pushing the monster away and nearly instantly dashing forth at it, with her scythe flying and cutting through it in swift manner, severing one of its limbs before jumping back.

She stared at the nightmare with stern and cold glare, with reawaken courage within her eyes.  "What.... was that..." she asked herself, clearly not understanding who or what spoke to her.

Tatsuo saw the nightmare pull back from the pain of losing his left arm. Tatsuo would frown looking at the sight trying to get out of the wall. Seeing its chance, the nightmare attempted to hit Tatsuo while he was still stuck in the wall, but Tatsuo want able to use his wind magic to push his body out of the wall, but using his foot to accel his movements temporaryaly.

When Tatsuo got out he concentrated for a moment and froze the Nightmare's right leg and broke it off. With that the nightmare was done for the count screaming in pain.

Hamaki observed her father and the nightmare just before sighing and closing her eyes as she began focusing once more,  renewing her energy shourd and soon looking at the nightmare, observing as her father froze in place, giving her opporunity to strike, soon dashing at the opponent.

She roared loudly as her arm swung once more, this time flying across and swifty chopping through the nightmares neck, cutting its head off and severing it from the torso, forcing it to fly and spin in the air just before landing on the ground and with the torso falling limply on the ground.

Hamaki sighed and closed her eyes ,releasing her energy and slowly landing on her knees while panting and trying to catch her breath.

Tatsuo would look at his daughter with a bit of shock since she was able to do what she did with her level of strength. Tatsuo smiled greatly and walked toward Hamaki before kneeing down to Hamaki and gave her a kiss on her forehead.

"You did great Hamaki. Even with your condition you were able to do a bit more then I expected. And try to get down if you do. You did wonderful and I mean that."

Tatsuo would use his water magic to grab both the Nightmare's body and head and put them inside of the water that lead out of Frostvale and out into the ocean. Tatsuo knew it would be too dangerous to leave it for someone to find it.

When Tatsuo did that he would notice the Nightmare's left arm on the ground. Tatsuo attempted to grab the arm it owned and destory it, but the Armor began to slowly glow from the inside. Tatsuo ripped off the armor and the arm seemed to reveal that the nightmare's arm was actually a prosthetic and it was made of Cursed version of Mithril. Tatsuo looked at it and smiled in a happy manner.

Tatsuo thought it would be a great idea to use this arm for a later use if he would put some work on it. The arm seemed to be just enough to coer for what he needed and he could do with he wanted with it since the owner was now dead and gone.

Tatsuo would pick Hamaki up and carried her back home, though, Tatsuo would be holding the arm in his right hand.

Once they got home, Tatsuo would set Hamaki down on a chair in front of the table and left a glass of water for her as he left the arm in the ceiler for the time being.
