[22:45] * Faolan whispers "I took a blow for you and you didn't even need my help in the end."
[22:45] <~Kroked> "A sphinx?!" The woman seems alarmed "That is indeed frightening news, nearby you say?"
[22:45] * Faolan sighs and shakes her head

[22:46] <Faolan> "We were attacked. It wanted this girl."

[22:53] * Violet looking obviously embarrassed to be correcting her, "N-no, like a portal-thing that teleports you...or something."

[00:25] <Kroked> "They weren't close, so I'm sure she'll take the news fine"

[00:30] <Kroked> Jasmine kinda grunts, and you hear her footsteps fade off
[00:31] <Kroked> you feel Kaia pet your hair lightly "You poor child..."

[00:32] * Violet opens an eye, peeking at Kaia

[00:36] * Violet sits up with a small yawn and stretch
[00:37] <Kroked> you are empty in the wagon, but you hear hustle and bustle on the outside
[00:38] * Violet stands up out of the bed and pokes her head out the entryway
[00:40] <Kroked> You find yourself in a large bustling arabian style town, you see a grand Palace at the other end of town, towering over the buildings. you are currently in the main Plaza, and the Gypsies, including Kaia are all dancing for the crowd
[00:41] * Violet watches Kaia dancing from the wagon, allowing a small smile to cross her face
[00:41] <Kroked> as the music gets more upbeat, the crowd begins to clap along, and the dancing gets more and more heated
[00:43] * Violet finds herself tapping her foot along to the beat and has to resist clapping along
[00:44] <Kroked> finally the music dies down down with a magnificent finish, and the dancers are showered with coins, a couple of the girls begin gathering the cash, Kaia notices you and smiles, coming over to meet you "Good morning Little Violet, how did you sleep?"

[00:45] <Violet> "How long have you been up?"
[00:46] <Kroked> "Since Daybreak, as is our custom"
[00:48] * Violet shuffles her feet in embarrassment at oversleeping
[00:48] * Violet fishes for a new subject. "Y-you were dancing really well out there. You, um....you're really good at it."
[00:49] <Kroked> Kaia smiles "It's what we do for a living, I was taught at a very young age, I enjoyed it a lot, still do"
[00:49] <Kroked> Kaia smiles "Would you like to learn?"
[00:50] * Violet looks up at Kaia's eyes in surprise. "M-me?"
[00:51] * Violet looks down at her feet, "I don't know..."

[00:52] * Violet blushes. "Um uh, I don't know, I mean yeah, I mean..."

[00:55] <Kroked> Kaia laughs and boops you on the nose "Those will come in time, don't worry, one day, you'll be just as big as me " she says with a wink

[00:57] * Violet Celia pops out and spits sparks in frustration
[00:57] <Kroked> "Ah right, Vi, I actually have some bad news"
[00:58] * Violet glances aside looking slightly guilty.
[00:59] <Violet> "Faolan had to leave, didn't she? I...um...overheard you last night. You could only keep one of us with you. I understand..."
[00:59] <Kroked> Kaia sadly looks away "Ah... you heard that... I.. I really am sorry"

[01:00] <Kroked> "It was enough to convinve them to let me take care of you"
[01:00] <Violet> "I understand. You have to do what you have to do to take care of people. Compromise is essential in leadership."

[01:03] * Violet hesitates, before asking, "Where did you leave her? Does she at least have clothing and food?"
[01:03] <Violet> "Or at least a means for such?"
[01:04] <Kroked> "She has clothing, and some bread... water is precious out here, and with an extra mouth, we couldn't spare any..."
[01:04] <Kroked> "But, I'm sure she'll be fine" she says hurridly
[01:06] * Violet nods absently. "She seems very resilient. I'm sure she will."
[01:06] <Kroked> "Hey, why don't we go walk around, I'll get you a treat, Celia too, how does that sound?"
[01:08] * Violet Celia pokes her head out of Violet's hair, and spits sparks, much akin to blowing a raspberry, before slipping back into her friend's heair
[01:08] <Kroked> "I see your little friend still doesn't like me very much"
[01:08] <Violet> "Sorry, she's...protective."
[01:09] <Kroked> "She's just worried for you, she's your best friend after all, right?"
[01:11] * Celia flies up to Violet's shoulder and sits on it possessively

[01:11] <Kroked> "It only makes sense she'd be worry, she see's me as a strange woman who's just dove into your life, she's afraid I'll take youa way from her, isn't that right Celia?"
[01:12] * Celia folds her arms and turns her head away
[01:13] <Kroked> "But I could never replace a friend like that I think, so I guess I'll just settle for second place" she gives a wink "now, let's go see about those treats"
