(fancy: with extra things, like chocolate and cherries on ice cream)

bitter: opposite of "sweet", like coffee or chocolate if you don't add sugar

dish: prepared food, like you can order in a restaurant
You don't ask the waiter for a tomato or a bowl. You ask the waiter for a bowl of creamy tomato soup.
You don't ask the waiter for spinach or a plate. You ask the waiter for a plate of the spinach and mozarella salad.
