Dont second offense

Alexithymiaa: -Brad was sitting at his desk in his room trying to field the interiew requests that had come down the line after the news hit. He'd sent everything off to Nancy to decide which ones he should do and which he should turn down and was in the process of forwarding a few things to Evan to set up while having a text skype interview with one of the reporters.-
Covet: Kelsey had just finished dealing with Connor and was making her way over Brad's room to gather up some of his laundry so she coudl get it all put in with the rest of the stuff she had going in. She walked into his room without so much as a hellow and gathered up the clothes that she saw stewn about.
Alexithymiaa: (YOURE MAD BUT YOURE DOING HIS LAUNDRY? Fucking up, Kelsey. Fucking up.)
Alexithymiaa: -When his door opened, he turned to glance over his shoulder at Kelsey on her way in collecting his laundry, furrowing his brows. "What're you doing?"-
Covet: [XD She's just doing busy stuff lol]
Covet: "Laundry, I think that's pretty obvious." She told him as she picked a few more items off of the floor.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, but my laundry?" He asked in confusion since he knew she was mad at him and couldn't figure out why she would be doing him any favors.-
Covet: "I need more for a full load." She said starting to head towards the door, with an exasperated tone.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh...." He trailed off, watching her a moment longer before turning back to his computer to see he'd forgotten about the reporter he was talking to. He quickly moved his hands to the keyboard, answering both the questions she'd asked him that he'd accidentally ignored.-
Covet: "What are you doing?" She asked him as she looked around his room. "Maybe you could tidy up in here a bit when you get the chance."
Alexithymiaa: "Doing this interview with some gossip magazine. Nancy said it was okay." He said as he typed again to the reporter's next question. "I dont really have time for that right now."-
Covet: "Right... because this is so much more important." Kelsey said then pursed her lips, turning on her heel before heading out the door.
Alexithymiaa: "Well I'm in the middle of something...." He started when she walked out, furrowing his brows. Once she was out of the room, he mumbled quietly to himself. "Quit being such a bitch."-
Covet: Kelsey turned back into the room, "I'm sorry what was that, I couldn't hear you." She said with one hand on her hip and laundry in the other, standing in the doorway.
Alexithymiaa: "I said I'm in the middle of something." He repeated for her, not looking away from his computer as he answered another question.-
Covet: "In the middle of what? More fanaticism over your DUI?" Kelsey said, her tone dripping with bitterness.
AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : "Fanaticism? I'm literally doing what Nancy told me to do in order to combat this. You think I want to answer more questions and use her stupid lie and do what she told me to do? I just want this to be over so I can focus on things thar are actually important."-
Covet: "Right, because you are enjoying the atttention at least a little bit?" Kelsey said. "If you want it to be over then why answer them at all, you don't owe them anything you already gave your statement, andy you're already stated that you don't want to do any of this."
Alexithymiaa: "Because I told Nancy that I got a bunch of interview requests and she told me to do some of them." He said as he got up out of his chair, crossing his arms. "What the fuck is your problem? Mad because America's Sweetheart pop star isn't the star of the show for once?"-
Covet: "No actually, that's not it at all." Kelsey said at him. "I'm just a little irritated that this is the treatment you get for getting caught breaking the law. Sue me if I'm a little bitter about that, given everything I've recently had to go through."
Alexithymiaa: "The treatment I get? How is that my fault? You're treating me just the same I treated you. The difference is there's a lot more people involved in mine than there was yours. Nancy is just doing her fucking job and what I pay her to do which is to get me out of trouble so I'm sorry if I'm not being punished by the whole world as much as you think I should be."-
Covet: "It doesn't feel good does it." Kelsey said staring at him. "Yeah, and you're also being praised for doing the right thing, and being generous, For doing stuff you didn't even want to do. I've seen the stories out there so far."
Alexithymiaa: "So what? Why is that your problem? Your family didn't praise you for taking time to do the right thing and take care of yourself?" He snapped at her. "Or did you want all the media to be clued into what was going on so they can praise you for getting help, too?"-
Covet: "No I don't.. You're right.. I don't have a reason to be pissy about this. It's stupid. I'll just go do my own stupid thing about it and be mad elsewhere. Because it's not about the praise, it's about the fact that I actually wanted to change and make a difference. Are you going to stop driving after a couple of drinks? Probably not. So what is all this actually for other than appearance."
Alexithymiaa: "You don't get to put words in my mouth because you're wrong. I am going to stop driving after having a couple drinks if not only because this entire ordeal was a pain in the ass, but because a second offense is pretty much always jail time and it's not worth it. Picking up my car or taking an Uber is a small inconvenience to avoid going to jail. But yeah it's fine, I'm dumb and I learn nothing from my mistakes." He said with a roll of his eyes, dropping back down into his desk chair.-
Covet: "If you don't want me putting them in yours, don't turn around and put them in mine, I didn't say you were dumb." Kelsey said. "Good, I hope you stick to that, cause god forbid we have to go through all this again."
Alexithymiaa: -He slumped down in his seat, looking at the open Skype window with the reporter who'd repeatedly asked him questions that he had just stopped answering. "It wouldn't be this. I'd be in jail. Evan conveniently looked it up and emailed it to me. Minimum of thirty days in jail."-
Covet: "That sounds like a good incentive to not let it happen." Kelsey said, watching him. "I'm going to put this in now." She told him softly, walking away from him agains heading towards the door again.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah well..." He started, closing his laptop because he was just done with this stupid interview and the dumb questions she was asking him. "Thanks."-
Covet: "Yeah." Kelsey said before making her way down the hallway to the laundry room to get it going.
Alexithymiaa: -Pushing up from his desk, he stepped on the backs of his shoes to easily step out of them, pulling his shirt off over his head to drop on the floor and make a convenient trail of clothing where Kelsey had JUST picked up, on his way to the bed.-
Covet: Once Kelsey was finished getting the laundry in she walked back to Brad's room. " I just wanted to drop in and say I'm sorry... before I head to bed."
Alexithymiaa: -He turned his head to look over at her from his comfortable position lying on the bed on his stomach. "Are you sorry?"-
Covet: "Yes, I am. I know this is frustrating for you, and I"m just making it about me. That's not fair to you." She said. "But. I'm sorry. I'm going to go get ready for bed now....so... goodnight?"
Alexithymiaa: "Thanks." He said gently and genuinely, remaining on the bed in his comfy spot. "Yeah.... night."-
