》background: aesun grew up in jeju island with her two older brothers and parents. her mom worked as an accountant which held her family up most of the time. yet her father worked at a tourism company for those who come to jeju for vacation. he doesn't earn that much so he had two other part-time jobs. aesun and her brothers totally did not know about this and was unaware. he worked like this until they were in the mid-teens. their father overworked himself and ended up bedridden after a sudden collapse at his work. a year later, her family often visits his grave at least once a month. as she grew older her family moved to seoul. at this point of her life aesun was very into makeup and modeling. she had lists, posters and photos saved as inspiration to become a model. when she was 17, she was signed to a label that mainly trained actors and models. her mother was able to sign both her and one of her older brothers. they trained for only two years. they debuted with their first photoshoot on Nylon Korea. her older brother, jeon sunhyuk, became an actor and model just like she did. their popularity and fame grew quickly as they were known as the 'jeon model siblings'.
