Based on the popular 70's TV show, three cute chicks work for the mysterious "Charlie". They are the female 'James Bonds'' of our time. They get to blow stuff up, kick the crap out of people, and wear really tight clothing, all whilst trying to retrieve stolen software and balance in high heels.
Three women, detectives with a mysterious boss, retrieve stolen voice-ID software, using martial arts, tech skills, and sex appeal.
I don't think I've ever seen a worse movie than this.  Since when do Charlie's Angels have super-powers?  There was NO plot (it was like watching a bunch of bad skits), atrocious acting and extremely annoying special effects.  Why is it that every movie fight scene has to be exactly like something like "The Matrix?" This movie sucks, don't see it.
This movie was everything I expected it to be. The three leading ladies Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Lui were all gorgeous.. but how can you expect them to make a good comedy? This movie was so corny! Because those girls are just not funny! Cute-yes, but funny-no. Funny girls are actresses like the 3 pretty girls on Friends (Jennifer Anniston, Lisa Kudrow, and Courtney Cox), Sandra Bullock, or Julia Roberts. The only part that I even thought was funny was when Cameron D was dancing, that was hilarious.. also, Tom Green did ok. They should have given Matt LeBlanc funnier lines, he could have made this movie a lot better, hes a good actor..
Too bad the action scenes rarely rise above standard kung-fu comedy, diluting the film's otherwise considerable entertainment value.
