  1. Like A Cruel Angel Effect Descriptions:
  2. Disturbing
  3. Your Evangelion’s armor fractures as its skeletal structure violently shifts, bones and joints wrenching themselves into new positions as muscular tissue splays wide and reforms around the intervening plates. The living atrocity revealed as the Evangelion’s naturalform is a nightmarish alpha predator not of this world, inspiring raw terror.
  4.
  5. Gain fear 4, all other pilots must roll against it immediately. Gain Unnatural Strength until the end of battle, whenever you deal critical damage that amount of critical damage they take is doubled.
  6.
  7. Biomorph
  8. The tissue beneath your Evangelion’s skin begin to contort and shift, as its limbs bubble, flow, and reshape themselves. The Evangelion’s natural regenerative ability accelerates. It will not be kill so easily.
  9.
  10. Heal your most damaged body location to full. One your next melee attack that hits, add the amounthealed to your damage roll. Gain +2 TB.
  11.
  12. Juggernaut
  13. Your Evangelion radiates such a supreme strength of will that it is physically palpable, making it seem not so much a living creature as a force incarnate. Every move it makes is fluid, precise, and uninterruptable with an almost threatening sense of grace and confidence.
  14.
  15. Any ability that would move you against your will, lower your Agility, or hold you in place fails automatically. In addition, you may not be stunned or reduced to half actions, and you may ignore the Barrier AT Power.
  16.
  17. Feral
  18. Your Evangelion twists in place, falling to the ground in visible agony. The ground cracks and craters, the downdraft enough to uproot trees or send cars flying as the Evangelion launches itself into the air!
  19.
  20. Leap into the air and land on top of the nearest enemy target, regardless of distance, and knock them prone. For the rest of combat, you gain the Brutal Charge and Quadruped Traits from DH, but may not use your hands except for natural attacks.
  21.
  22. Implacable
  23. Though physically unchanged, your Evangelion’s AT field intensifies to the point that it is visible to the naked eye in a prismatic, hexagonal pattern in the air. Such a drastically powerful AT field is all but impenetrable.
  24.
  25. Double your Deflection until berserk ends. In addition, you may test a 25% chance to negate any source of damage instead of (but not in addition to) a parry or dodge, regardless of whether the attack can normally be parried, dodged, or deflected.
  26.
  27. Halo
  28. Your Evangelion momentarily floats above the ground, then falls, now emitting an incredibly intense white light from its eyes and mouth. A halo of brilliant light ignites above your head, the air humming with your newfound power.
  29.
  30. Replace one characteristic of your choice with your SR until berserk ends.
  31.
  32. Molten Form
  33. A pulse of intense heat radiates from your Evangelion, flash-igniting nearby flammable material. Flames suddenly engulf the entirety of its body, as a crown of roiling smoke begins to billow from a space above its head. Your Evangelion’s armor glows orange under the furious heat and your footprints ignite.
  34.
  35. All natural attacks deal E damage, and both E and X damage deals only half damage to you before armor and TB are applied. However, the entry plug begins to boil, and for every round they remain in the Eva during this berserk they take 1d10 E damage.
  36.
  37. Storm
  38. The very air around you begins to crackle with powerful electrical discharges, and furious winds begin to howl. Your Evangelion is soon wreathed by an incredibly powerful localized typhoon, making targeting it difficult and approaching it all but impossible.
  39.
  40. You are unimpeded, but all ranged attacks against you take a -10 to BS, and everything in 20 dm of you (except you) takes a -20Agility from the strong, unbalancing winds. Any form of VTOL mob caught in this area is immediately lost.
  41.
  42. Giant of Light
  43. A brilliant light begins to radiate from beneath your armor, and as it burns away your Evangelion is revealed as a radiant humanoid figure, seemingly composed solely of furiously bright light.
  44.
  45. You are immune to all hostile AT powers, but you cannot deflect otherwise.
  46.
  47. Winged Form
  48. With a great tearing sound, translucent insectile wings burst from your Evangelion’s back, igniting into a golden glow as they unfurl. They settle into place, the air ringing with a sound halfway between chimes and joyous cries.
  49.
  50. The Evangelion gains the Flyer(AB) trait, and gains +4 ATS instead of the normal +2 from Berserking.
  51.
  52. Extra Arms
  53. Your Evangelion’s arms begin to shudder and bulge under pressure from within before splitting in half, the restraining armor flying apart. Two new arms tear free and wrench their shoulders into position below your primary pair.
  54.
  55. As the Multiarms trait in DH, + 1 extra parry per round. However, you arm body locations now count for two arms each, and neither has any armor.
  56.
  57. Undead
  58. Without warning, all biometric readings for Evangelion and pilot instantly flatline, and all lines of communication are severed as the Evangelion falls dormant. Moments later it moves once more – but the readings do not change. It moves with total disregard for the wounds it bears, ignoring all but catastrophic structural damage, and beyond all control.
  59. Your Evangelion halves all damage inflicted by Impact and Rending weapons, and is now immune to Blood Loss. But the Eva ignoring the heavy blows often means that the pilot is at a greater risk. Whenever a hit to the body deal critical damage, regardless of type or amount, test for Plug Breach.
  60.
  61. Unleashed
  62. Your Evangelion hunches over, straining against some unseen force, before with a modest explosion its chest armor flies apart, revealing a bright red sphere embedded in its chest. The air hums and crackles with your newfound power.
  63.
  64. Your SR doubles until the end of battle, though after this any further changes to SR are handled as normal. Due to exposure, if your Eva s defeated by destruction of body pilot must burn fate, regardless of plug breach.
  65.
  66. 3x Faster
  67. Your Eva’s flesh takes on an unnatural red hue, hellish light shining from your eyes, mouth and through the cracks in your armor as your Eva’s flesh becomes mildly radioactive, drawing on new power for a burst of incredible speed.
  68.
  69. Gain Unnatural Speed (x3) and double your AB for the purpose of dodging blasts, but your Eva takes one damage that ignores armor and TB to all body locations every round from the strain.
  70.
  71. Wolfpack
  72. A painfully-loud burst of static suddenly overwhelms all lines of communications, and the entire radio spectrum over the localized area is saturated with harsh white noise. Every other Evangelion unit within this area instantly goes limp. Moments later they reawaken, but under no human control…
  73.
  74. All other Evangelions within 1d10+10 dm Berserk automatically, whether they choose to or not. Regardless of any other circumstances, these Berserk Evangelions will not attack you.
  75.
  76. Optical
  77. The Evangelion seems to flicker and flash before turning jet black, blacker than even the darkest night as it absorbs all light that hits it. The air begins to buzz as some enormous amount of energy begins to charge…
  78.
  79. As a half action, the Eva may fire an intense beam of light at any target within sight, dealing 2d10+5 E damage Pen 6 with the Blast(5), Maser, Recharge and Burning, special qualities. Any Eva within 10 dm of the Berserking Eva expend a reaction action to avert their eyes in time or be blinded for 1 round by the intensity of it. Anyone unfortunate enough to see this with their own naked eye is rendered blind
  80. for 1d5 days.
  81.
  82. Reality Marble
  83. The Evangelion releases what looks like a visible shockwaves, a shimmering bubble that expands 100 dm in every direction before slowing to a stop. The feel of power in this area is almost oppressive as the Evangelion exerts its will on the fabric of reality. This is the true power of the AT Field, unbound.
  84.
  85. You may use the Reality Reinforcement effect (see the Acute Disturbance Talent) for free (but no more than one such effect at atime) on a target, and as a half action may teleport up to 100 dm. Inaddition, after the extra collateral from your going berserk is applied no more collateral damage may be accrued by anything that takes place inside of the altered space.
  86.
  87. Entropy
  88. Your Evangelion’s armor begins to accumulate deep layers of frost, as the water in the surrounding air is snap-frozen into a localized snowfall. Your Evangelion’s touch has become so cold that any foe exposed to it will begin to freeze solid and become incredibly brittle.
  89.
  90. Each turn you spend within 1dm of a foe it suffers a permanent -1 penalty to AP to all locations. Each time you deal a foe critical
  91. damage, their AB is lowered by 1 as they freeze solid. However, your Entry Plug quickly becomes dangerously cold. The pilot takes 1 level of fatigue each round. If they begin a turn already passed out, they must Test Toughness. On a failure, they die of hypothermia.
