BACKGROUND |
  + do soojung lived a happy childhood. she lived in a priveleged but ordinary household. she was really close with her family, particularly her  twin (yejung). the only thing yejung and soojung shared was their appearance but they got along really well. soojung and yejung were inseparable as they grew up. they were more than just sisters, they were best friends. her twin was someone soojung always confided in and the only person she trusted a lot. but where there are siblings there will always be rivalry. yejung was the smarter twin, the one who got good grades at school and the one who's makes their parents' proud all the time. while soojung, she's just known for being the life of the party. soojung often got jealous of her twin, she wanted to make her parents proud too but she hated that all she was good at was picking which shirt goes with those jeans. soojung's jealousy had never been a problem until her sister started dating a boy that soojung had had a crushed on for months. the couple lasted until highschool ended and everytime soojung saw them together, her heart would break. everything went down hill when the couple decided to go on a camping trip in the mountains and yejung just forced her to come with. soojung's jealousy had overtook her and the siblings ended up arguing as they hiked (without the bf) and one thing led to the other, things got physical and soojung ended up pushing yejung off the track but she DID NOT MEAN IT. she never admitted to it. after she came back home, she immediately moved to seoul because the guilt was eating her alive.

PERSONALITY |
  + when it comes to do soojung, think of stilettos and a very deep shade of red lipstick. this girl is what you call the "devil in heels". her beauty is no question, she's all too aware of the kind of effect she has on both guys and girls. but she's often overlooked, people assume that she's just some pretty airhead (okay, she is not one of the brightest girls out there). you'd think that with a pretty face like that, all she can do is bat her eyelashes and spend money on things she'll probably forget she owns days later. but soojung is not just good looks and money, she's actually cunning and manipulative. she hides things well (specifically her choice of "lifestyle") and has a really good poker face. she's a bit irresponsible and careless for her age (though she doesn't act childish), and her lack in education and work experience has her struggling for income and it's the only reason why she keeps seeing her "boyfriends" (because they spoil her and yes, the rumors are all true). soojung is the type of girl who prefers flings rather than an actual long term relationship, this girl is almost allergic to commitment. she is known to be hot-headed and is someone who stands by their opinion, you wouldn't want to mess with her. but beneath all that exterior, she actually has a soft spot, particularly for FREELY. at first glance, she might seem intimidating and ignorant, but she's actually someone who pays attention to a lot of things. she cares, in her own unique way and is honestly just a misunderstood and struggling girl who most of the time is confused by her feelings. you'd find her at her best when she's around the people she cares about. whoever melts her cold heart is bound to have a permanent spot in her life, and not to mention very, very lucky.

HOW THEY MET / HISTORY | oddly enough, they met through one of soojung's past "boyfriends". he was her ex's close friend. even if soojung had ended things with the man, the two still saw each other frequently for some odd reason. he lived nearby and always went to the bar she usually went to whenever she wanted to have a drink alone. and from there, they were just kind of part of each other's lives. there was a time when soojung was too drunk to realize that she was ranting to him about her lovelife(s). only realizing what she had done the next time they met, she was surprised that he was nowhere near judging her or disgusted. since then, they kind of just started confiding in each other. he's the person she comes to whenever she needs to know something, but she considers him as a friend too.

  + HER FIRST IMPRESSION ON HIM
      soojung's taste in men were fairly high class, so she didn't really paid much attention to him when they first met. he was too plain and ordinary for her. she does admit that he's attractive, but there was nothing special going on with him that made him stand out. (but this is all before she got to know him. after, soojung learned that there's more to a person other than just money and looks).
  + HIS FIRST IMPRESSION ON HER
     honestly, he was slightly turned off by her. she was pretty, sure, but he didn't like how she lived her life. he knew about her "profession" from his friend and thought that he wanted nothing to do with her.

HOW THEY ACT AROUND EACH OTHER |

    beginning; — they're already friends so it's easy for soojung to talk to him. she acts looser with him compared to the guys she usually goes out with, or just guys in general. it's like she's comfortable enough around him that she doesn't mind him seeing her at her worst. she tells her everything (except the thing about her sister, soojung could never tell anyone that).
    middle; — nothing changes. they're still friends.
    end; — this is where she realizes that he's slowly starting to act differently. soojung might not be smart, but she catches on things quick. but she keeps acting like things are the same because she doesn't want to down /that/ road.

    &beginning; — he never thought that he'd find friendship with someone like her. even if he admits that they're friends, he's still wary of her, afraid that she's just going to use him for intel and money. but nonetheless, he's there for her whenever she needs him. he admits that he's fond of her a lot, has that protectiveness over her that he didn't how on earth he got.
    &middle; — his feelings begin to change (he goes through hell with this because he's sworn to not fall for someone like her). he starts acting differently, his touch lingers a second too long, he looks at her for a second too long, he's more protective and he finds himself worrying about her every second of the day.
    &end; — he doesn't bother being subtle about how he feels but he doesn't actually confess that he likes her as more than a friend. he has a feeling that she knows and realizes his change in attitude. but because she's not doing anything about it, he chooses to not do anything and hope that feelings die down. (they don't).
