MRVerse Episode 8

[Chapter 8-Landing in Nohr, Meeting new faces!!]
{APR WK4 20XX}

It's been about 12 hours since the Leonhart siblings and the Faraday siblings have taken a private Leonhart plane for them to travel to Windmire with Jalen entering the Nohrian Official Rank C Cup. Thankfully, Rhiannon has convinced Jalen to not tweet about it on Twitter, so therefore not a lot of people is aware of him doing this. They were able to land at the Windmire Airport at 3PM NDT and within 25 mins..they arrived at the Hotel where they will stay at.

Once they got there, the 4 of them decided to go out in 2 groups..Jalen and Chrom together and their younger sisters in another.


The boys went out first(With some disguises, namely Jalen wearing a hoodie and sunglasses while Chrom wears a cap and sunglasses with a scarf and jacket to hide the brand on his arm...) with some thicker clothing on. Nohr as a country is a mountainous region, and thus is elevated higher than most other nations. Therefore, it is much colder and required the people to wear more warmer clothing as evidenced by all the Nohrians around the boys as they head to a fast-food joint called Wendy's.

Inside the bustling place, they can see about 4 lines stretching out with a lot of kids yammering and people ordering food as the workers in the back prepare them...

"Man, I am so glad to never work in such an establishment..." Jalen groans as he watches the chaos before them with the 2 of them getting in line behind a white-haired girl with twin pigtails and wearing a dark brown coat with a hat to cover her head.

"People can be so fucking rude..." He continues as Chrom gives him a teasing smile. "Come on, 'Marx'(They have come up with fake names to hide their identities from the public...Jalen's 'Marx' and Chrom's 'Ike') Don't you love to serve people who yell at you if you don't get their order right despite them not knowing what they want to eat...?"

The glare 'Marx' gave 'Ike' could melts even the sturdiest Durahans to a puddle of liquid metal, matching the latter's mischeivous smirk.

"You motherfucker,..."The line they are in slowly move up as they walk ahead, 'Ike' stumbles a bit due to 'Marx' pushing him with two of his fingers...making him reaching out with his hand to stop his momentum...and by doing so, he place his hand on the girl 's waist ahead of them.

"......" She slowly turn her head around with a frown, making the 2 boys feel fearful, 'Ike' in particular being extremely scared...

"I...am...so sorry...Please forgive me.." Underneath his scarf and glasses, 'Ike' could imagine the sheer chaos he would get in if his identity get leaked...oh, the controversy...his family name will forever be tarnished.

The woman keep on staring at 'Ike' as soon she hears her name being called out...

"Hey Robin! Thanks for holding my spot as I went to the bathroom...The amount of people in there...is..." A black haired girl with pink bangs with a white hoodie come near them and see 'Ike' s hand on her friend's waist...she assumes the worst and scowls as she tightens her fists..

"Just what the fuck are you 2 scumbags doing to my friend?!" _Her voice even gets a bit deeper as she roll up her sleeves to show off her muscles, making both boys widen their eyes. "(HOLY SHIT, SHE'S JACKED!! ME AND CHROM ARE SO DEAD!!!)"

"Summer..." A cool voice ring out from Robin as she smiles, although it have a tint of a cunning side to her.. "Relax, these 2 gentlemen were just offering to take us out after lunch to the mall."

"Wait, we were?" 'Marx' raise an eyebrow as 'Ike' sighs... "She's right, ma'am..." He speaks to Summer as he remove his hand off of Robin's waist. "We just made an agreement."

"And this 'agreement' involved you invading my friend's privacy?" Summer doesn't seem too pleased with this as Robin chuckled

"Well, look at it this way..we got 2 pack mules to buy us free things..." She lean back and smirk at 'Ike' "Riiiight?~"
He groans as he look back at his friend, who merely roll his eyes...and he look back at Robin with a forced smile. "Co-correct.."

"Good! Then it is settled...I am Robin Schneider...a normal Nohrian civilian.." She check her nails in a casual manner as she thumbs towards Summer who's crossing her arms as she stare at the 2 boys. "And this is Summer Rose, one of the daughters and correct heiress to the Rose Manor..."

"(Rose?)" 'Marx' raised an eyebrow at this, remembering another girl who's last name is Rose...or have Rose in it...as 'Ike' nods and bows.. "Go-good afternoon! We are just your average Ylissians coming over to visit! I'm Ike and this here is Marx!"


"..Just Ike and Marx, huh?..." The group is now at the counter, ready to place their orders as Robin smirks...making both the lads realizing that they haven't thought out of their fake names fully well... ".....Ye-yes..."

Robin look at Summer with an amused look as the latter just shakes her head and is placing her and Robin's orders, Robin then look back at 'Ike' and look him up and down..sending chills down his spine. "Well, we hope you boys are packing..."

"WH-WHAT!?!" 'Ike almost fall on the ground at the forwardness as 'Marx' just blinked..."(She said that....)"He was too busy thinking about what she said regarding Summer being the correct heiress.. "(what does that mean?)"

Robin giggled at their reaction.. "You didn't let me finished...I meant your wallets...cause we gonna run you boys dry..~"

"O-Oh...Ri-right.." Ike breaths out in relief...They have nothing to worry about then.


Summer ordered their food as she and Robin waits for the 2 boys to do the same, They just ordered something to drink, their appetites gone from what they had to endured...As they get their cups to get the pops and do so...they walk back to the 2 girls aas Robin smiles and lead them out

"You boys should be thankful that Summer decided to use one of her fancy cars today....I bet you two Ylissians never had the luxury of driving in a..." The 4 adults walk into the parking lot as Robin walks up and present to them in a over the top manner as she directs her arms at..

"A Magenta Bentley Mulsanne!!!"
Summer put on a weary smile as the boys..much too Robin's shock and slight annoyance..don't look as impressed as she wanted to be. Hell, they look as if they were expecting more?

"....You 2 don't seem to be all impressed...what gives?..."
The two of them look at each other and nods...


"Well, first off, I'm not Marx..." He remove his sunglasses and lower his hoodie down to let his long and wild hair go down his shoulders... "I'm Jalen Faraday..."

"Wh-what?!?" Robin gasps in shock as Summer speaks up with a confused look...Where have she heard of him before?
"Yo-You're Jalen Faraday?! The same one who beaten Berkut!?"

Ah, that was when she heard about him. Most of her peers and friends gossiped all about the heir to the Branch enterprises's loss as well as read his tweets...Come to think about it...Raven was seen smiling after hearing about it in their home the day the news broke out..

"The very same..." He smirks as he nods towards 'Ike'.. "And this isn't Ike.."
He remove his scarf and sunglasses, making both girls widen their eyes as Robin's jaw drops..

"...I'm Prince Chrom Leonhart."

".....holy shit..."

That's all that Robin can say as Summer absorb all of this..
"Well...this is something...I wouldn't expect to see the prince of Ylisse here along with one of Ylisse's finest to be in Nohr on just a small little vacation.."

"You're right to assume that.." Jalen nods, appreciating the smarts on the brunette before him as Robin is still in shock over what just happened... "I'm mainly here to take part in the Nohrian Official Rank C Cup."

"Wh-why?!?" Robin finally finds her voice and speaks up..although her voice did just cracked..Making Chrom raise an eyebrow. "(That was oddly cute..)"  "Well," Jalen shrugs... "Diego Brando wanted to fight me and chose this tourney.."

"You know that he's very good and have only lost to a small handful of people, right?" Summer keep out that she and Raven are in said group over the years of their time in the Monster Circuit.

"Yeah well, He gonna have to add me in that spot..." She notes on his confidence and save it for later..as Chrom clears his throat. "Sooo...are we going to the mall now?"

"Oh, right...Robin?" Summer smirk at Robin who's breathing hard now.. "Wh-what?..Oh right." She composed herself after breathing in and out hard.... "Well...are you 2 ready?"She just gonna have to accept the fact that she tried to swindle the prince of Ylisse as he walk up to the car and open the door for her to get in the back. "Yeah, we are."

She gulps and get in the back with him, leaving Jalen to get in the passenger seat next to Summer who gets in and begin to drive to the mall.

Meanwhile, with the ladies..they are currently walking through the streets of Windmire dressed in their fine clothing...


As they walk along the street, Lissa was the 1st to make the turn around the corner...as she did so, she end up bumping into someone and falling on her butt.

"Ow!.." She looks up and see the face of one Raven Branwen and Beruka Becker..the former who she have bumped into and is currently having the most vicious look ever, oozing blood lust for a second before she revert back to being concerned..

"Oh my, are you well?" She crouches down and hold a hand out for the younger blonde to grab...Lissa hesitates for a moment, the face of sheer anger still fresh in her mind and causing her to have some level of anxiety..

"U-Uh...Yes...I am.."
"Lissa, are you ok?" Lissa's heart skip a beat of joy as she hears Rin's voice behind her and her hands helping her up from the back as Raven and Beruka watches...the latter utterly silent while the former is watching with careful eyes.

"Yeah, I'm fine...I just bumped into this lady." Rhiannon look at Raven and instantly she got a feeling of dread reeking off of this woman...as if she need to keep an eye on this woman for not just her safety, but Lissa's as well.

Raven meanwhile knew who Rhiannon was, the sister of her target...And from what little she know..Rhiannon's not a dumbass by any means...

"(It's like dealing with another Summer...)" She grimly thought to herself before she smiles and nods, hoping to difuse any tension

"Hello there, Sorry for bumping into your friend here..." She place on hand on her hip. "I'm Raven Branwen-Rose..Daughter of Ursula Rose of the Rose Hospital.." She gestures to Beruka. "And this here is my good friend, Beruka Becker...We're both trainers in the Monster Circuit.."

"....Hello..." Beruka merely acknowledges the other 2 as Lissa dust herself off and smiles.. "Hiya! I'm Princess Lissa of Ylisse and this here is my great friend, Rhiannon Faraday!"


"A pleasure to meet you..." Rin stay guarded around these 2 as Raven look at her and she sworn she saw a glint in her eyes as her smile gets a bit wider...

"So, one of the princesses and a high noble is before us? I truly feel honored to meet you all.."
"I see.." Rin keep an neutral look on her face as she place a hand on Lissa's shoulder...

"Well, me and Beruka was wondering if we could show you two around Windmire...Consider it a treat from us." Raven look back at Beruka as she speaks with the blunette nodding slowly..but before Lissa could speak up, Rin answers for her.
"It's ok, I know my way around Windmire to not rely on a guide...I appreciate it.."
Lissa quirk an eyebrow, letting raven to assume that Rin's lying and to call her out on her bluff.

"Are you sure?" It wouldn't help to have us with you.." Raven crosses her arms as Rin squint her eyes behind her glasses.

"I'm very sure we will be fine, Branwen..." Her tone of voice pretty much set her answer...Raven nods while internally she is seething..no used in trying to push things here...
"...Very well." Raven nods as she turn to Beruka with a forced smile. "Let's go, Beruka..we have to go complete what we were set out to do...." "...understood.."

She turn to the Ylissians and nods at them as she walk past them with Beruka following her...before long, she stop and turn around..

"By the way, Faraday...Why ARE you two here?"
Rhiannon didn't see no reason to not tell her...she figured it wouldn't be no harm..

"My brother's here to compete against Diego Brando in the Nohrian Official Rank C Cup....So we're here to watch and cheer him on."

"Ahhh.." Raven nods and smile... "Well, tell him I wish good luck to him as well~.." And with that, the 2 of them walking off..Raven having a nasty smirk on her face..

"(Just as I thought..Jalen's here to take on Diego...good...good...I can't wait to see how he do now..)"
Back with Rhiannon, she have a look of simmering anger with her hand squeezing on Lissa's shoulder...

"(How the hell does she know MY brother..who the HELL does this skank think she is?...Oh, she have made an enemy in me now..if she thinks she can just waltz all over here and take Jalen without MY blessings?...I won't let someone who have such an evil aura marry her whorish ass in MY family!!!)"

"U-Uh..Rin..my shoulder..."
Rin blinks in an embarrassingly manner as she let go of Lissa who rubs her shoulder...

"I am so sorry!"
"It's fine...what was that all about anyway? She just offered to take us on a tour.."

"Well.." Rhiannon frowns a bit.. "I just got a bad vibe from her is all..like she was being nice in order to mask her true intentions...I also didn't trust her silent friend over there..."

"...Now that you mentioned that..." Lissa frowns...Raven's earlier expression coming up to mind now... "She did had an expression where I..." Lissa look down and twirl her fingers... "I-I kinda felt fear for my life..." Hearing this confirms Rin's suspicions...who nods and scowls. "Yeah, I think it's a good idea we keep an eye on that one...no telling she have any good intentions for us in the future.."

"Agreed, we should tell our brothers.." Lissa's frown soon turn to a smile as she wanna go back to their planned shopping. "..Riiiiiight after we go to the chocolate store!" Rin's booty get tight before she remembers that she's not going to a black-man brothel like her mother took her to once for her 18th birthday. "Ri-right!..Let's go!

The girls continue on their trip in Windmire, Rhiannon storing her encounter with Raven in the back of her head as they soon arrive at the store..

Meanwhile with the boys...they are currently in the mall as the two girls are shopping for many clothing(Very expensive clothing, mind you...) Luckily, they have their disguises back on to hide themselves from the general public. Only Summer and Robin still know who they are. At the moment, the 2 boys are sitting down at  a bench as the girls are in a Victoria's Secret store..

"....I think that Robin girl like you, Chrom." As Jalen checks his phone for the news in a casual manner...Chrom almost chokes on the air he was breathing... "Wh-wh-what?!?" Jalen chuckles and continues speaking. "Dude, on the whole ride here she was asking you all kinds of questions.."


"..All she asked me was how long I've been training my monster, Thor.." He frowns, whether he's not seeing it or he's just ignoring it, Jalen don't know, but he's gonna press the issue.

"And then she asked you how being a prince is, and then what's your favorite monster, along with what do you do outside of training monster, what kind of food you eat, are you single, are you the strongest in your age group...WHICH..isn't true cause it's yours truly..." Jalen smirks at Chrom's annoyed expression before finishing. "And lastly..she was CONSTANTLY trying to hold your hand...in the car and out here in the mall."


"...." Chrom blinks, dumbfounded.. "..I ju--just thought she like to move her hands a lot.."

".....Chrom, I love you...you are my best friend....but hoooly shit you are not a smart person when it comes to females..."
Jalen facepalms as the girls come back out with loads of bags for them to carry...Summer walk off to Jalen and plant the bags on his lap. "There you go, I made sure to not buy as much as I normally do.." She smirks as she crosses her arms and look down at the male who tilt his head with a bored look.

"Geez thanks..." With Chrom and Robin...The latter is blushing madly as she place the bags before him. "Pr-pri-prince Chrom! I-I got some clothing for me!..I-I think they will lo-look nice!..Wh-what do you think?!?"

"Uhh..." He share a look at Jalen, looking for help..before he look back at Robin and nods "I-I think they will lo-look lovely on you.."

"!!" Hearing this, Robin covers her face to hide herself as Summer sighs and frowns.. "She went from being all confident to becoming a schoolgirl within hours.."

"Well, it's a good thing for her that Chrom's not a casanova type...he's just as goofy as he can be.."

Jalen stands up with the bags in his hand as Chrom does the same..even putting all the bags in his left hand so he can hold Robin's hand(Making the girl squee for a bit as Chrom also blush.). This makes Jalen smile with pride as the 2 of them walk on ahead to the exit before Summer and him.

"...So..are they dating now?" Summer asked as Jalen walk on "Yes, all thanks to me making Chrom realize it.." She scoffs at him as she follows him. "As if you are some love expert..." Hearing this, Jalen couldn't help but smirk as he turn his head to look at her. "I wouldn't call myself an expert, but I do have knowledge on how females think thanks to living with 2 of them.."

"Ah-huh..." She sounds skeptical, but decided to not pursue that...she walk besides him as they see the other two ahead, discussing stuff. "Sooo...What monster are you training?" Summer asked Jalen, since she don't really know much about him.

"Well, I have a Hare named Hilbert...He's pretty cool and fun to train....You?" Summer looks away and ahead of them as she give him her answer.. "I have a Mocchi named Bloom..we're in Rank C, but I'll be skipping this one for the next one..I wanna make sure Bloom's ready.."

"Fair enough..."
"...So you were able to beat Belkut and now Diego wanna fight you?"
"Yup."

Summer smiles softly at this.. "I kinda hope you crush Diego...I don't really like him that well, He's extremely full of himself and tend to screw over some of the lower-class."

"Well, isn't that lovely..." Jalen roll his eyes.. "Another noble giving us nice ones a bad rep..Let me guess, whatever stores he own, he tax them very harshly, right?" She nods as she look at Robin who is talking to Chrom rather fast and excitedly.. "My friend there isn't part of any noble home and therefore is quite poor...that being said, she's not a bad trainer and is rather capable with her monster..a Piroro/Tiger named Gelpitre.."

"Interesting.."

"..I'm pretty damn good, if I say so myself." Summer checks her nails...looking at Jalen for his reaction.. Let me guess, you wanna fight me too?" He look at her smiling, which makes her roll her eyes and smirk. "Maaaaybe..."

"Well, you're not the 1st woman from here..."
"Huh?"

Jalen and Sumer catches up somewhat to the other 2 as they exit the mall and head to Summer's car..

"You have a sister named Raven, right?...She wanted to fight me too from way back from the party before the Taurus Cup."
"..........." Jalen stop and look at Summer who have a worried expression on her face.. "...she did, huh?"

"....?" He blinks, not sure of what she's thinking on... "Yes..why is that a problem?"

"....I'm telling you this now since I'm starting to like you." Summer step closer to him being 5'5 to his 5'7, she comes up at his chest and look up to him with a serious look. "Stay. Away. From. Raven...for your own good....she's nothing but pure evil that hides it behind a facade of niceness..."

"...I-I see.."
Jalen is unnerved from her stare as Summer leans in closer...
"Promise me..." She scowls.
"I-I Promise.."

"...Good..now let's get you home.."
So Summer and Robin gets the 2 males home to their hotel where the males leave...Chrom and Robin hugging(The latter blushing madly) as Summer reminds Jalen of his promise...Once inside of their room, the males come across their sisters and they discuss their day...Rhiannon confirming Summer's claim of Raven as she talk about bumping into her and she spooking Lissa as well as being too nice..

That said..Jalen is not thinking about Raven(Or Summer...as much as he would want to), but he is now focusing on the fight tomorrow against Diego at the Nohrian Official Rank C Cup...will he win? Is Raven one to not be trusted? Is Chrom and Robin a thing? Find out next time!!!!!
