- Infinite darkness. No light. No sound. Nothing. Yet, there you are. Alone. In deafening silence. Silence which felt like an eternity, broken by footsteps. Footsteps growing closer. You cannot see the approaching person, yet can hear them getting close. You try to speak, but find your voice missing.
- "Ah." The voice spoke, You couldn't decipher it in this all encompassing darkness. "Did you know..." The voice spoke again, closer now. "That the universe is composed almost entirely of darkness?" They asked. You try to respond but still unable to speak. "Naturally, that's it's default state. An uncaring, indifferent nothing. Cold. Impenetrable." They spoke, their tone distant, yet cold. Inquisitive and curious, yet they spoke with wisdom well beyond their years.
- "Little wonder, then, when early man looked up from the terrifying darkness of night, beset by predators and worse, and saw light..." They said, as the darkness was broken away, a bright light emerging to tear away the all consuming darkness. "... They worshiped it as a god." They told you, the silver white light that illuminated the deep dark came in full, a radiant moon displayed in full.
- The voice you heard came from the moon. "Mine is the cold fire of the moon. Mine is the tidal pull on the salt blood beating through your heart." They said, emerging from the moon. Silhouetted by its radiance that kept the approaching dark at bay. "Mine is the silver madness that illuminates but does not warm." The figure spoke, their voice all encompassing, eating the silence of the dark abyss. "Come and worship." They demanded.
- They descended footsteps light upon the inky dark as they approached. Familiar yet alien. The first thing that caught you was the eyes. The same silver blue like the moon that illuminated the dark. Then their hair, loosely tied in a ponytail, yet completely white, devoid of pigmentation. They dressed in a white dress shirt under a white hoodie, white denim jeans and white sneakers.
- Everything about them was ethereal in nature, as if they did not belong. Yet their hand, gentle against your cheek, caressing ever gingerly. Fingers trailing your jaw and index stopping at your chin, thumb resting just below your lower lip. Those same pools of silver blue reflected an almost primal hunger behind them, yet held restraint. They brought up a hand, closing all but the index and put it to their lips.
- Those eyes stayed, staring into yours, peering deep into your core, as if devouring you completely and entirely. Pulling you further and further from lucidity. Their face smooth, yet mature. Both beautiful and handsome. Their lips grew closer to yours, ever closer as they pull you to them. Entirely under their control. You give no resistance for what is to happen, resigning yourself to whatever fate has in store.
- Your eyes open. You look around, the sun peeking through blindfolds as your alarm beeps. You're in your bed, it was a dream. You touch your lips, electricity runs through you, deep to your core. Was it a dream? You simply remember, the being bringing their finger to their lips, that one small gesture that silenced all thought. That one moment etched vividly in your mind.
