Dani merely followed Kiva without another word, climbing over to open window with ease after the Stranded broke off the protruding shards. The woman was going by her command like she wanted; there was nothing else to say in the matter. All she had to do was follow her to get her recruits; that was all she came here for.

The minute the ground began to shake, the hypnotist stopped in her tracks so she wouldn't fall when it began to give away. Kiva didn't need to beckon her towards the alley, for she had already followed her, without a hint of worry or panic. Since the Stranded was under her control, there was no need for her to play the helpless woman any longer. She might not have been strong, but fear was far from her category.
