- Near Homelessness Strategy
- In the even rent gets raised, or there is conflict to which you thrown out you are to move with your aunt.
- The extra $250 in rent will improve the odds that vehicle issues will be fixable.
- Also this will shorten the certification time to less than 1 month, perhaps 2 can be gained in a month to 1 and a half months.
- (This is if the octopharma plasma place isn't counted, the funds for certifications increases drastically if this is included creating the potential
- to secure 2 very expensive certifications within the same month).
- You have to keep close tabs on your doctors appointments and re-route your mail to your new address(Navy federal, Magic Hollow(inform them of move and provide store
- and cell number, inform navy federal, and inform car-insurance).
- Here are the neccessary items:
- A large heavy duty military styled backpack.
- A sleeping bag(heat insulated and water proof if possible).

- The advantage here is that phone calls can be made using this wireless
- service, the wireless service can be used for job applications, and in
- addition(as long as there is a kind individual who doesn't mind you using
- their address to direct the mail too(hint hint pay them) the ebay buy/sell
- strategy until you are in a more prosperous position.
- Combine this with a motorized or electric bicycle(That is obtained and stored dormant until this strategy needs to be in effect)
- Motorized bikes can top out around 50 mph, the intent is to use it at 25 mph.
- The motorized bike will increase the range of jobs to work for and make it easier to respond to
- a call in on short notice(preferrably in regards to jobs a 5 mile radius and making the best efforts possible to avoid transits during rush hour).

- Lyon Shipyard 1818 Brown Ave. Norfolk, VA
- Welder:
- • Regarding stick welding I have accomplished flat, horizontal , vertical and overhead with 3/8 inch square grooved beveled plate under a certified AWS welder instructor’s watchful eye.
- • Whilst the joints butt, corner, edge, lap and tee.
- • Regarding 2 inch pipe I have successfully welded a smooth root and cover pass under another certified AWS welder(Instructor) observation.
- • When it came to metal inert gas welding I have done the following metal thicknesses 1/8th, 1/4th, and 3/8ths, and performed welds in 1-4G with separate settings for both .035 and .045 wire thicknesses regarding voltage, wirespeed(IPM), gas flow, and arc control.
- • Regarding fluxcore I have successfully done overhead beads on a T-joint for .045 wire.
- • prepare work piece for a x-ray test, adjust to different settings
- • I have 4 additional certifications; vertical and overhead groove butt joints for SMAW and Fluxcore and have pictures of them as proof that can be sent in email.
- Welder experience : Lyon Shipyard 3 years
- School experience(Tidewater Community College Portsmouth Campus)
- Cover Letter for welding resume:
- Furqaan McCutcheon
- Smaw.
- Smaw/Tig Pipe,
- Oxyfuel is almost non-existant and mig appears to be medium to low pay on average as from what I heard and researched
- it may be one of the easiest.
- Tig often requiring skill, and pipe, often requiring skill are the higher paying ones.
- Seeing that in school alone there are 5 electrodes to be familiar with, 6010-12, 7010, and 7024...
- Couple that with all the postions with distinct movements to learn for each for an absolutely perfect weld bead.
- Keep in mind the variables, metal type, amperage, electrode diameter, welding position, travel angle and work angles.
- We already have elite notes as a guideline to serve as our "general purpose" approach to each position and each
- electrode and amperage while not being razor specific in a way that makes all of it easy to remember and also allowing
- us to pass with flying colors. Also in class we are by far not the worst welder by observation of the weld beads
- produced. Also keep in mind we won't be able to go home and practice like in barbering so all that is gained
- MUST be gained and mastered in school.
- So our prioritization of focus should lay here, in pipe and tig to perform perfect weld beads in such...
- There is a problem in that many test 1-4F and G with different metal thicknesses and such will take serious time. That's 8 workpieces
- for each metal thickness. Totaling 32 workpieces. To cut that number down weld 2 positions per weld bead. Meaning half of the weld bead done in one position
- and half of it done in another position. This will total 16 work pieces.
- The general purpose strategies will assist in doing well in all non pipe and tig jobs(keeping in mind pipe and tig are harder
- to get).
- Addition: A high aim is to secure a welding union job of $30-50/hr+,
- In order to attain such a job we will use a "Rapid dominance in certifications" Prioritizing the most difficult certifications and working downward(to easier ones).
- These logistics will greatly influence our ability to fund the dream job mission via schooling and any logistics of the inventive folder.
- For job application process:
- Rule of thumb for welding jobs(based on initial experience): 1 month for a response.
- 1 call out of 20 applications. (Similar to minimum wage 1:20 ratio) Only apply to
- areas of current skill. The application will be 1 of 3 cities, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and chesapeake.
- This will be the initial manuever until a job is obtained.
- If it is not the optimum tig pipe with the potential to make $21/hr(40k a year about) or starting out
- at $20 an hour. While on job strategies and techniques are to be recorded for 3 months and applications(more specific to tig pipe)
- are to be sent out beginning on the 2nd month).
- This means you will be able to get jobs with high value, BUT, your marketability is minimized. This means quite a few
- mig and fluxcore jobs are out there and combinations of most of these processes if not all.
- Because the variable income warps your ability to make consistent logistical manuevers AND provide a decent margin of error,
- this affects your prioritization (based on said earning), which
- can imbalance your set approach(which was originally based off of $200 a week).
- Though school can be finished with earning a minimum of $30 a week it is not ideal.
- Attaining a higher set income would greatly increase the chances for mission accomplishment regarding the 3rd slot(elite training, choir mission, elite hacking etc.).
- By default:
- Use set recorded amperages for all processes(except for a Tig Pipe Test for Tig Pipe start high and then drop).
- If by machine the amperage is different adjust higher or lower if neccessary.
- 1 Duffel Bag(Walmart $20),
- 2 SMAW glove pairs,
- 2 Tig Fingers,

- Find out if a longer cable is needed from employer])
- "Male connector"(to stinger): Due to many configurations of connectors, find out when at employer.
- Look for pipefitters and welder helper jobs.
- This will permit occasional hands on experience.
- For job application process:
- Rule of thumb for welding jobs(based on initial experience): 1 month for a response.

- Protocol for when Hired(Ask for a copy of your W2 for that job and take a picture of it) and store it in the Vital folder and career folder.
- Then aim to pay a tax proffessional to account for taxes for previous years(although you had no welding skills at age 19 this will account for any missed
- taxes prompting the IRS to give you a break the year your on first then then pick a prior year(make sure those prior years are recorded). You can do 2 years
- worth of taxes each year for 3 years but don't stress too much you where working minimum wage so it can't be much.
- Here's the number for the recruiters:
- 7578735900
- Recruiters for welding

- Smaw: Weld stringers, 2 inch pipe 6G.
- Tig: Weld stringers, 2 inch pipe 6G.
- Mig: Weld stringers flat,6 inch pipe without a backing ring, 2 inch pipe 6G.
- Fluxcore: Weld stringers 6 inch pipe without a backing ring, 2 inch pipe 6G.
- Use the 2 position per bead approach to cut the number of neccessary workpieces down.
- The last tasks are fluxcore setting for 1/8th plate, and restarts for square groove butt joints joint opening 1/16th this is expected to be done in 2 weeks.
- Update notes for mig, when restarting beads after tacking restart on tack and when going through tacks a(if using a side to side motion) no side to side
- motion until tack is passed.
- With this new job assess available materials and processes for potential practice, fill in as many gaps as possible{.045 wire mig, .035 gas and core shielded fluxcore,
- stainless steel, pipe, aluminum, machine function learning, etc.} (perhaps an hour and 30 minutes off shift if permitted).
- The adjustment for tacking open butt and/or bevel joints is to tack in the middle[Small so it does not cause much irregularity when the bead is created over it](to account for both mig and the higher heat of fluxcore),
- Strategy for new welding job Other than what the boss teaches you and the actual work you do 1 hour and a half off clock to scientific method the things you don't know.
- Make a note remembering to take no-offense to assumptions the media portray over a particular ethnicity or group of people.
- * Purchase steel toe welding boots that goes quite higher than the ankle, welding overalls with a tan welding jacket to go overit(for extra protection if a large glob
- of super hot slag falls on you without you noticing also wear jeans under overalls(Individual at work recieved a serious burn on the genitals) Purchase a camopack
- and fill it with ice to avoid risking heat exhaustion with that wear Link: https://www.anypromo.com/getasample.aspx?productid=707839&utm_source=PLA&utm_medium=PC&utm_campaign=707839&g=1&gclid=CJ6K0PWLwckCFYlBfgodj4kCuw .
- Camopack is to be worn under the tan welding jacket. The cost of tan welding jacket is around $100, the cost of the camot pack is around $30.
- * Hightop steel toe boots $70.
- Items Needed for Barbering Optimization:
- 1 Andis Fade Masters,($90 on ebay)
- 1 WAHL Clipper Guard Attachment ($10 or less on ebay)
- Sharpening stone(Under $10 on ebay)
- Styliner 2 blade ($17 on ebay)
- Barbicide Disinfectant jar[under $15 on ebay],
- $142 total.
- Areas of Emphasis for Success:
- Area of Emphasis for Barbering:
- Immediately after haircutting skills and barbering maintenence(sanitation and procedures) is strong social skills and a strong sense of humor whilst
- staying in the shop for 60 hours. This is more prominent than work ethic per say as in this is already a laidback job.
- It is neccessary to be easy going to avoid personality clashes.
- With the neccessary time period being 60 hours just for the work area(1 slot) this eliminates the careerist approach the specific 3 slot approach in which
- 1 slot is allocated 40 hours(work), 1 slot is allocated 10 hours(elite mission), and 1 slot is allocated 10 hours (elite mission) higher hours for relationship.
- But again, this is still valued for the potential to gain above minimum wage but will be a certain challenge in combination with school.
- Area of Emphasis for welding:
- Safety and efficiency(high quality of output).
- Though it has been heard of being able to produce alot this is perhaps more orientated toward Mig and Fluxcore in which it is different than moving fast in
- fast food since these are two entirely different areas in which high speed in this case is analagous to continuous wire feed.
- Safety and efficiency(high quality of output).
- Though we have heard of being able to produce alot this is perhaps more orientated toward Mig and Fluxcore in which it is different than moving fast in
- fast food since these are two entirely different areas in which high speed in this case is analagous to continuous wire feed.
- General Emphasis:
- General(default) emphasis for success is work ethic and proffessionalism.
- Also the cap for R&R and ATR is 60 hours(Specific 3 slot approach and Carrerist approach).
- Deterrents of inconveniences:
- In regards to gum/tooth aches letting listerene sit(anti-fungal/anti-bacterial) and
- using Anbesol with aid of cotton swabs assists with aches.
- Anbesol can be purchased at walmart for around $7 (link below):
- Also listerene can be purchased at walmart for around $6 (link below):
- In order to be thorough:
- Purchase antibiotics online(This link does not require a doctor's prescription): http://medsonline24-7.com/category/Antibiotics
- Use Listerine in conjunction(let it sit on the infected area for 60 seconds[No swishing], then use a second cup of Listerine for 40 seconds[swishing is recommended]).
- Use Anebesol from food-lion in the form with cotton swabs to apply(cotton balls are more wasteful).
- Use 3 pills of Acetaminophen(pain killer) to ease the blood vessels and nerves in order for pain relief.
- So antibiotics first, Listerine second, Anebesol third, and 3 pills of Acetaminophen fourth.
- Resume for Minimum Wage:
