In his natural form, Aemulus is a tall, slender eagle-like Aven, with golden-brown feathers, thick clawed feet, and a sharp hooked beak. He tends to wear only heavy golden bracelets and a black iron collar when in this form, his feathered body not really needing much in the way of cover.

The form he adopted after unlocking his spark, however, is a bit [I]different[/I]. He appears mostly bird from the waist down in this form, but from there up, he has the appearance of a slim, dark-skinned human male with long black hair. His plumage is red with gold patches in this form, and his tail is long and serpentine, though still feathered. his plumage extends up his back a ways, up to where his wings arc from his back, each as long as he is tall. He wears the same thing as he normally does, though with the addition of a bit of black iron armour and a white cloth.

No matter what he looks like, Aemulus is very fond of coating his wings in flame when he joins combat, raining sparks and blazing feathers down on his foes.
