  1. Slave Knight Gael
  2. Male Villainous Undead
  3. 4/week
  4.
  5. Slave Knight Gael is as he is seen in phase 3 of his boss fight in Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City, although he starts at full health and retains his moveset from previous phases. The lightning storm around him only extends to his immediate vicinity and does not hurt his teammates.
  6.
  7. “Hand it over, that thing, your Dark Soul... for my lady’s painting.” (Results, 0 AP): Whenever Gael fights and wins, he may devour the essence of an opposing Human mercenary rostered this week. This injures that mercenary and gives Gael a blood counter.
  8.
  9. “‘Twill be a cold, dark, and gentle place, and someday, it will make a goodly home.” (Peacetime, 2 AP): When Gael has 4 or more blood counters, his death may allow the Painter Girl to create a new world for your team. Choose any terrain that has been revealed at the time you use this ability. For the rest of the game, you gain access to it regardless of your roster, though you do not get the defender bid bonus on it. This KOs and injures Gael as well as removing all blood counters from him.
  10.
  11. Upgrades:
  12.
  13. 15 EXP: “Is this... the blood? The blood of the Dark Soul?” (Pre-Battle, 1 AP, 1 blood counter): Mere injury cannot deter an undead with the dark soul’s essence. You may spend 1 blood counter to have Gael ignore any negative Start of Battle abilities this week. If you did abilities first this week, you may declare this at time of rosters.
  14.
  15. 20 EXP: Reduce the requirement of “‘Twill be a cold, dark, and gentle place” to 3 blood counters.
