  1. I breathed heavily and couldn't help but laugh madly as I ran, ran right through the gates of what I thought had been an empty graveyard. I had come here earlier in the night with my friends on a dare, it was just supposed to be a simple night in the graveyard, just some dumb challenge to get street cred among my friends. What we stumbled upon that night was no laughing matter, glowing lights, unknowable things writhing in the darkness, chanting in a language that seemed to tear at the very fabric of our minds. We ran, ran from things we couldn't describe, gnashing teeth and tentacles came after us and I could only laugh in encroaching madness as each of my friends fell to their fates, their screams echoing across the night. I run, I run faster than i've ever had before and miles upon miles later, i finally stop, the madness and fear that had been eating at my mind dissipating as I finally began to calm down.

  3. I thought that was the end of it but...it seems that when you gaze upon the unknowable, it leaves a trail like a bleeding wound. My life began to fall apart at the seams after i got home, our dog...well all they could find was a single paw and an ungodly amount of blood. My sister took a knife one night and laughed as I watched her drive the knife through her heart, my father began to see things in his nightmares that drove him to sacrifice my mother and little brother and nearly me. For a second time I saw gnashing teeth, tentacles, endless eyes and felt madness and fear take hold once more, I did the unthinkable and broke free and threw my father to his fate and for a second time I ran.

  5. They found me gibbering and shaking like a mad fool on the streets and locked me away in a mental institute on he coast and for a third time they...it found me. Once more the people around me went mad as the staff descended into a cult-like fervor, I watched from my window as they threw inmates and the mad into the ocean and twisted ungodly forms crawled back out. As I sit here I cry in my sorrow, feeling as though god himself has abandoned me. Fear, Madness, and Sorrow became my every day life as day by day i watched the surroundings around me warp and twist as I heard the screams of my fellow inmates and the crunching of bones and tearing of flesh.

  7. Before Long, I am certain that I am the only one left alive in this place, ever alone with my thoughts as they teeter on the brink, I am thankful for the strength of my own mind. One day however as I sleep...it appears before me. An endless expanse of eyes and teeth and a creature before me that I can only describe as maddening. It tells me that it wants to make a deal as I have survived for far longer than most against it's attacks, it will grant me power but in return I must serve it for eternity. I nearly scream as laughter erupts through my body and it attacks me mentally from all sides in an attempt to make me accept. Knowing the fate that awaited me...I gave in. Now I serve that which is unknowable and know just how futile it is to fight back...for in the end, madness shall claim us all.
