1. Please fill out the following form if you would like to be a squad leader. If you haven't already done so, you will also need to attend spec ops boot camp and get qualified in at least one spec ops company though we recommend you qualify in all three to get yourself well-rounded in our tactics.

4. You have been selected as a candidate for a Spec Ops Squad Leader position!
5.
6. If you are interested in the position, please read this post first so that you know what we will expect from you. Next, reply to this private message with the following information:

25.
26. -
27.
28. Please note that being a "candidate" is no guarantee that you will be chosen as an official squad leader. However, what it DOES mean is that you should start leading squads as often as possible because as of right now, you are being evaluated by our current officers. If we notice that you are running squads often, getting positive feedback and most importantly - getting good RESULTS, we will go ahead and make things official.
29.
30. GOOD LUCK - and thanks for stepping up!
31.
32. A'pok has posted a "handbook" for being a squad leader and though it pertains specifically to infantry squads, a lot of what he said can also to apply to other companies as well. This is the type of dedication that we expect out of our squad leaders so make sure you read this!

36. Also, here are instructions for writing/sending your after-ops report:
37.
38.
We are implementing a required after-ops debrief to discuss the ups and downs of each op. If you are a squad leader during an op, here is what we expect you to do:
39.
40. 1) During the op, take a screenshot (simply hold the "share button" on your controller) of your initial squad and also every time someone joins your squad as a visual reminder for your debrief.
41. 2) If you are the first person to report for the evening, create a new topic in the "OPS Night Debriefing" forum listed under the Squad Leader forum (not the "public" one that's listed under the "Events" forum - that's for regular members to chime in on but feel free to copy/paste anything that doesn't specifically point out any problems with specific individuals (we'd rather handle those privately) and make sure to put the date in the title. For example: After-ops Debrief 22AUG15. Subsequent reports should be posted as a reply to the first report.
42. 3) The report itself should have a header with the squad's callsign and company. For example: Eagle Squad (Air) Report.
43. 4) List yourself as the squad leader plus each member that was in your squad at one point or another and if necessary, comment on their performance individually.
44. 5) Write a report describing the overall squad performance and be sure to list anything that you feel could use improvement regardless if it's a big deal or not.
45. 6) If you would like to recommend your squad for an award, please make sure to provide any details that would give merit to such an award in the report!
46.
47. - Platoon leaders shall do the same type of report listing squad leaders (instead of individual squad members) and overall platoon performance.
48. - Outfit commanders report on platoon leaders and overall outfit performance.
49.
50. If there is a "candidate" or someone who does not have access to the squad leader forum leading a squad on an ops night, they should first be informed to take screenshots as described above, then they should be sent a PM with a copy of this message and instructions to send the report to an outfit commander. Outfit commander will then post the received report to the appropriate forum.
51.
52. Deadline
53. If you were a Squad Leader, Platoon Leader or Outfit Commander during an op, YOU HAVE 24hrs TO SUBMIT YOUR REPORTS! That's now part of the responsibility of being a leader. If you can't handle this responsibility, you may want to consider stepping down or we may need to rethink your leadership position in our outfit so please don't make us go down that road - you've all been hand selected for your ability to demonstrate leadership capabilities!
