  1. Shoutouts to Anankoz. He deserves the credit for this.
  2. We were both researching this without knowing that the other person was also looking into it. We roughly got the same information, but then he went on to go the extra mile by asking old runners about the early history, in order to get ahold of information which wasn't archived. Shoutouts to Kyoro, Fis, and Hotarubi for helping him.

  9. J TIMING (+10.5s compared to NA timing):
  10.
  11. 1:01:18 17/11/08 Hotarubi [Confirmed in Twitter DM]
  12. *Note that Hotarubi's times (aside from his 52:09 J timing) were either achieved with NA Timing, or achieved with J Timing, and then converted to NA timing for the Peercast leaderboards.

  44. *ACHIEVED USING NA TIMING: 49:45
  45. *Morks claimed this is a 49:53 J timing, but J Timing adds ~10.5s. His video is partly destroyed, but his splits say 49:45.13. So, we can pretty confidently assume that he got a 49:55 with J Timing, and not a 49:56, unless he split really early.
  46. *Also note that the NA version was roughly 4.5s-6.5s faster than J (pre 1cyc Kaos).

  56. NA TIMING:
  57.
  58. 49:43 12/08/15 Claude [SNES-J] https://www.twitch.tv/videos/10599399
  59. *Technically not WR, but Claude played on SNES, which lost him ~15s over Kazunoko's WR. Claude got WR for real later on that day.
  60.
  61. 49:26 12/08/15 Claude [SNES-J] https://www.twitch.tv/videos/10687353 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICx_ZXBgg08
  62. *Retimed from a 49:25 to a 49:26.
  63. *A 2-1 Jump in 6-5 was discovered. It was executed on the 9th try, losing all potential time. Claude also took a bunch of strats from a recently released TAS.
