+Lucy Stuart __ Suppose you ban advertising to children (something I am not against), it won't stop the problem. Content creators still receive an income from views via YouTube Red subscribers (which will happen more and more if people don't want ads to be shown to their children).

The problem is that inappropriate content is being made for children in the first place. And it is being made by creators who _seemingly_ have no regard for the children who end up watching it.

Then again, perhaps those content creators know very well what they're doing and it isn't _just_ about making money. Any platform that enables content to be broadcast can effectively be used as a propaganda platform. It's just not viewed as that while audiences remain happy with the content.
