  2. <DM>    *You enter a large cavern, dominated by what appears to be a spiralling mass of madness. Around appears to be lots of coral and plenty of Biri and bubbles float around to protect Stella and Merle who are also floating about*
  3. *   Darte has exited the Biri and is growling at the two.  "Great.  Where are they gonna retreat to..."
  4. *   Darte scans the room for exits.
  5. <DM>    *Suddenly, the water begins rumbling. Almost as if the cavern is shaking. Darte, you sense a disturbance on the Spirit Plane*
  6. <DM>    *Almost as if it is a stream filled with life...*
  7. <Nigel> (i didn't know water can rumble)
  8. <DM>    *FYI Darte, there are five exits. One directly down below which appears to lead to a void, another behind you, another at the other end of the room and two more going from the roof*
  9. <DM>    *The water stops rumbling as a brilliant stream of light spontaneously appears. From within this stream of light appears to be a familiar figure...*
  10. <DM>    *The light fades and Sephiroth's figure becomes clearly visible. Armed with his new power, he exudes an aura of sheer power and dread*
  11. *   Sephiroth apparently makes a blinding entrance...
  12. <DM>    [Stella] Gah! Sephiroth!
  13. <DM>    [Stella] Nobody is gonna catch us now! Eat this!
  14. <DM>    *Stella unleashes her charge, triggering a large tremor which echoed across the room*
  15. <DM>    *ENTOMB!*
  16. *   Darte swims away from the newcomer, not sure what to expect.  A Keaton come to finish the job?
  17. <DM>    DESCRIPTION: Once charged; Set off a large quake, which attempts to entomb all enemies. Hits all enemies.

  140. <DM>    *Sephiroth, thanks to your one wing, you break out of your rocky prison and "fly" through the water like a penguin would.
  141. <DM>    *Nigel, you feel your Smashboard resonate with the light as a coin bearing Shady's image appeared on it*
  142. *   Nigel downs a restoration heart to bring himself back at 13 hearts
  143. <Sephiroth> 34h, 15m | Shady's Robe Augmented
  144. <DM>    *It appears Shady is trying to tell Nigel that his Smashboard can be evolved*

  146. *   Nigel is clearly confused.

  148. *   Darte quaffs a green potion.
  149. <DM>    [???] "It is I, Shady! I am here bringing news. I've sensed that Nigel's lovely Smashboard can do with a quick touch up. Maybe add in a sharp edge, maybe take a sword or maybe break the game harder? Its your call"
  150. *   Nigel does the velociraptor thinking pose, somewhat confused but intrigued.
  151. <Darte> "Well, sounds like a deal to me.  We need all the help we can muster up, even if it is from... that thing."
  152. <DM>    *Meanwhile Sephiroth, you swim. Because they are so slow, you would expect to have caught up with them by now. But apparently you haven't. Looks like they have a faster way of moving*
  153. <Nigel> "... Will it involve any more scales?"
  154. *   Sephiroth scratches his head as he continues flwimming through the water.
  155. <DM>    [Shady] "More scales? Not yours of course, Teehee. Zora scales will do just fine. Heck, even the scales from Zora Armor found in the Global Shop will do"
  156. <DM>    *^_^*
  157. <Nigel> "Huh, neat."
  158. *   Darte considers this as well, bumping up against a nearby wall.  "Well, I might be able to loan some of mine..."
  159. <DM>    [Shady] "o_O Oh, there is no need to harm yourself to do this. Just a Blue Mail will do."
  160. <DM>    *The Global Shop opens up for a moment and spits out a Blue Tunic before closing again*
  161. <Darte> "... Convenient."
  162. *   Nigel was about to say something, but then sees the blue tunic pop out.
  163. <Nigel> "... Oh."
  164. <Nigel> "... What were we talking about again?"
  165. <DM>    [Shady] "Now, Darte. Can I ask you a little favor? ^_^"
  166. *   Nigel has already forgotten what this lovely conversation was about.

  169. <DM>    [Shady] "This teensy little favor... can you spare a Zora Blade? I've got the perfect idea for what I can do with it"

  171. <Darte> Darte winces, considering the blades he's got on hand.  "The... blade, is it? ... So long as it's part of what you're doing for Nigel."
  172. <DM>    [Shady] "No need to dread! I'm gonna be combining the Blue Tunic and Zora Blade with Nigel's Smashboard"
  173. <Darte> "That... oookay.  I'm gonna assume that makes sense in your head.  Go for it, but we're coming after you if you get us all killed."
  174. <DM>    [Shady] "Thanks a million! This is gonna be fantastic and you know it!"
  175. <Nigel> "Does it involve somehow going into walls?"
  176. <DM>    *The coin lights up and pulls the Zora Blade and Blue Tunic towards the Splashboard as Shady momentairly materializes and messes around with the three items; taking them apart and putting various components back together until the three items are combined.*

  181. *   Nigel shrugs and takes/equips it.

  192. <DM>    *Nigel, you place your feet on the smashboard and suddenly, you surf through the water; almost at normal land running speed (note: Normal, not Lizalfols)
  193. <DM>    *You can choose to surf ahead to where Sephiroth is and to catch up to the enemies*
  194. <Darte> "We can try and play catch-up, or lay an ambush if we find another memory they're after."
  195. <Nigel> "Hrmm..."
  196. <DM>    *Darte, you recall that they wanted to get out of the dream*
  197. <DM>    *Meanwhile Sephiroth...*
  198. <DM>    *You make it to a long straight. You see the two fleeing bosses in sight; hookshotting across the walls to augment their movement and outpace you.*
  199. *   Sephiroth proceeds to mimic the two fleeing bosses using his Longshot.
  200. <DM>    *Sephiroth, you use the longshot to take faster strides in an effort to reach them*

  216. <Darte> "... We can scoop him up and haul him along by hookshot."
  217. <Darte> "Worst case, that icecube of his will make a useful plug."

  220. *   Sephiroth is already there.
  221. *   Darte swims back to pick up the goroncube and drag him along, returning to the room with the poisoned memory and taking one of the upper tunnels.
  222. *   Nigel follows the Darte.

  224. <DM>    *You all eventually make it back up to the top of the Blowhole. They aren't there yet, but you can see their souls and that of Sephiroth combatting them moving closer and closer to the top*
  225. <Darte> (And here I was worried we'd gotten ourselves in trouble not just going back the way we came)
  226. <Nigel> (quick brb)
  227. *   Darte floats Baegba to the base of the blowhole, then uses more Glacial Ice to try and create a nice Goron seal across it. (Viable?)
  228. <DM>    (Yes)
  229. <Darte> (Excellent.  One cast or multiple required?)
  230. <Nigel> (back)
  231. <DM>    *Due to the size, only one cast is needed... for now. It might get dislodged or something*
  232. *   Darte uses a second coat for good measure, adhering the ice along the inner lining of the cavern.  He then casts Sponge on Nigel, Block on himself, and lastly chugs a Chateau Romani.
  233. <Darte> (assuming there's time, etc. etc.)
  234. <DM>    (There is time)
  235. <Darte> "Right.  Anything you need, Nigel? We can't afford to let 'em slip, and we might have 'em cornered."
  236. *   Nigel downs a green potion
  237. <Nigel> 13h, 8m | Shield
  238. <Nigel> "Hmmm..."
  239. *   Nigel flips through his spell list for a bit.
  240. <Nigel> "I'm good."
  241. <DM>    *You see that they are almost back up*
  242. *   Darte nods, and motions Nigel towards his nearest guess based on their spirit locations.  "Get on either side of the tunnel they're coming from."
  243. *   Nigel follows towards where Darte is motioning.
  244. *   Darte prepares for a surprise attack when they emerge.
  245. *   Nigel also prepares for a bonking.
  246. <DM>    *Suddenly, you can hear something strike the ice*

  251. *   Darte winces, but holds position.  "... They must know what's going on.  Or something's coming in from above."

  253. <DM>    *Suddenly, you see Stella and Merle swim up to the surface, jumping out of the water
  254. *   Darte2 has quit (Quit: experiment finished for now)
  255. <Sephiroth> 34h, 20m | Shady's Robe Augmented | 2 actions charged...
  256. <Darte> (To clarify, the aim was to seal the inside of the blowhole and remain on the inside)
  257. <Darte> (Might be too little, too late, though)
  258. <DM>    (You were a bit late to fully seal it)
  259. <Darte> (So they flew past us and up the blowhole?)
  260. <DM>    (Yes)
  261. *   Sephiroth chases after Stella and Merle.
  262. <DM>    (However, they need some time to escape)
  263. <DM>    (You still have time to catch them)
  264. *   Darte curses and gives chase after the three.  "So much for that."
  265. *   Nigel follows the rest.
  266. <Nigel> "Drat."
  267. <DM>    *You all appear to float adrift on the back of what appears to be massive whale, easily 300 feet long, crusing along the surface. All around you is an ocean of water, stretching as far as the eye can see. The horizon is dominated by an inky blackness dotted with small specks of white. A large crest with what appears to be a series of valves and pearls can be seen towards the front and what appears to be a blowhole just past.*
