  1. >Refresh Rule Change
  2. >Announced June 25, In effect July 1
  3.
  4. Up until now, when you ran out of cards you would immediately refresh your deck and continue, following the rule of "Shuffle all of the cards in your trash to turn them into your new deck, and then trash one card from your Life Cloth". This was both complicated and against normal player's intuition.
  5.
  6. Thus, the rule has changed so that you do not refresh your deck in the middle of an effect. You now refresh only after the current effect has ended.
  7.
  8. Along with the rule change, the determination of certain cards effects has also changed.
  9.
  10. If you deck out in the middle of an effect, do not refresh your deck, but see it through until the end. For example, if you were to draw a card, trash a card, enercharge, or other such things, if you have no cards in your deck, those parts are ignored.
  11.
  12. Similarly, if you run out of cards during your draw phase, you do not end up drawing the remaining card. In that case, refresh your deck and proceed to the enerphase.
  13.
  14. >Example 1: THREE OUT
  15. If you use this when you only have two cards left in your main deck, you can not draw three cards. In that case, "Do as much as possible of the effect". The proceedure is as follows.
  16.
  17. 1) Draw two cards.
  18. 2) Discard one card.
  19. 3) THREE OUT's effect ends, and it is put in the trash.
  20. 4) Refresh your deck and continue play.
  21.
  22. >Example 2: Mythical Beast Osaki
  23. In the case of more than one effect occuring at a time, resolve them one at a time. Moreover, if you deck out in the middle of an effect, refresh immediately after and before resolving further effects.
  24.
  25. [If you have one card left in your deck]
  26. [Mythical Beast Osaki A and Mythical Beast Osaki B are in play]
  27.
  28. In this situation, if the green card Growth is used, use the following procedure.
  29.
  30. 1) Resolve Growth, and put the top card of your deck in the Enerzone.
  31. 2) Growth's effect ends, and it is placed in the trash.
  32. 3) Refresh your deck.
  33. 4) The player with Osaki A and Osaki B will resolve their Continuous effects in the order they choose.
