Fluff: In the world of 2138, the surface of the earth is hopelessly polluted; gorgeous nature existed only in video games. So it was that when Mottraye’s player was invited by his siblings to play Yggdrasil with them, and saw the closest thing to real flowers for the first time in his life, he was enchanted.
Were he 100 years in the past, he would have probably taken a career as a gardener, or perhaps in a nursery. But the future biodomes were all machine run, leaving little room for a hand on botanical experience. So, he did the next best thing: he swapped from his original character to a new alt, Mottraye, and started playing Yggdrasil as a virtual gardening simulator.
He still played with his family from time to time; even someone as enthusiastic as Mottraye is, even he gets bored of gardening now and then, but fortunately Yggdrasil has plenty of distractions in monster slaying and dungeon delving. Mottraye’s favourite thing is when his summoned plants alone defeat a strong challenge for him, not because he is being lazy but because it shows how good he is at his passion. Predictably Mottraye tries to solve every problem with plants at least once, but through experience he’s learned when that won’t work and he lean into his nature casting and alternative summons when necessary.
Post isekai, Mottraye is thrilled to finally be able to experience the full verisimilitude of plants, including their scent and texture. Unsurprisingly, Mottraye sets up a plant kingdom for himself. Despite being so seemingly one note, Mottraye does in fact cares about humans as well. Unfortunately, being an Alraune means Mottraye is an obligate hematophage, but Mottraye usually keeps her feeding to wild animals; Mottraye has never killed any intelligent being for their blood as of yet.

Complication: [The Wilt]
	You have a special meter similar to oxygen when underwater, but diminishes while you lack any light and recharges when in daylight. Each time the meter empties, it refills back to full but also applies a [Wilting] stacking debuff that penalizes your Str. Being reduced past Str 1 paralyzes you, which usually forces players to respawn - everyone has seen the corpses of paralyzed newbie Planterran at some point in their career. The meter scales with your Athletics score - many high level Planterran don't really care.

Complication: [Blood Soil]
	Your wilting meter now diminishes over time but can be refilled by sitting on the ground where a corpse is located (or has recently disappeared). Most Alraune players take this opportunity to flood the area with spores that discourage attackers via confusion effects.

Implication: [Eco Minded]
	Your new sense of kin brings forth deep empathy towards all plant life and with that the ire for those who choose to callously crush it. You can resist these feelings by recalling a time when you too did not care for the fate of plant life, but this will make you question your self-worth.
		Bonus: Your 360 degree FoV has a larger range.

Implication: [Earthy Notes]
	You desire blood soaked in soil, the stronger the source the better. You can resist this urge like how you'd resist having a delicious snack, but this will only make you crave what your diet is lacking - BLOOD! No, drinking the blood directly is not very satisfying.
		Bonus: Your Confuse, Charm, and Fascination effects are harder to resist.

Implication: [Queen of Beauty]
	You are easily envious of people who present more erotically than yourself. This gets worse the more people they are able to attract. You can resist this by keeping preoccupied, but eventually you will feel like you have wasted too much time - there are priorities that must be kept!
		Bonus: Your aura also restores mana to nearby plant NPCs.

Implication: [Sunbather]
	Basking in the sun's glory is comfy, like standing underneath the most refreshing shower you've ever experienced. You can resist this urge by cognition that delays gratification, but you'll eventually develop withdrawal symptoms.
		Bonus: Sunlight also slowly cures status effects present on you.
