Beast Wars

Out in space, two ships are seen crashing in an unknown planet. Down on Earth, a primitive human sees one of the ship crashing nearby and decides to explore. The human enters the ship facinated by all the circuitry and machinery. The next scenes have him exploring the ship, but he's not alone. Creatures are moving in the background, studying his every move, suddenly a T-Rex appears infront of the human, who's petrified in fear, and the T-Rex roars and moves for the kill while the human dies screaming.

Many miles away, 2 Primitive human kids explore the other ship, and are suddenly startled by a cheetah who tries to get their attention, the cheetah is suddenly tackled by a Gorilla who extends his hand to the humans and moments later, starts speaking their language. He introduces himself as Optimus Primal, they've already met Cheetor who just wanted to play with them, then Rhinox who got stuck to a door. Rattrap's there, but he doesn't like the humans and keeps to himself... but Primal likes to mess with Rattrap so he has him look after the kids while he and Rhinox discuss their current situation. The Predacons are dangerous fugitives that stole an experimental ship, and since they had the only other ship in the area, they were forced to fight them, and got dragged through a strange portal through space. Communications are down, pods with other crew members were left in space(the actual area they were stored was blown off, not jettisoned), and they've been forced to use beast modes to protect themselves from the large amounts of radiation on the planet.

They decide to scout ahead to see if they can find anything, and Primal runs into a velociraptor. Assuming it’s local wildlife, he leaves it alone… Until it starts talking to him! He introduces himself as Dinobot and wants to fight for leadership of the Maximals, which confuses Primal. Primal easily bests him with cunning tactics (hitting him with a rock on his head) and inprisons him on the ship. Meanwhile Rhinox and Cheetor run into two more Predacons Terrorsaur and Waspinator. Waspinator has two antenna cables sticking out of his robot mode head, damage from the crash. The skirmish ends when Terrorsaur tries to make a jump on Rhinox and is caught off guard by his chain guns, that rip his winsg apart  and Waspinator decides to grab him and retreat.
The Maximals meet back at the base to interrogate Dinobot, turns out he’s been in a cell on the Predacon ship since he tried to stop Megatron from using the ship. They learn that he intends to find an alien relic on Earth in order to destroy all that oppose him, but the coordinates he read were for a completely different planet. The maximals leave him in his cell, despite his protests that he’ll join them since he has nowhere else to go.

Back at the Predacon base, we hear Waspinator and Terrorsaur appealing to their leader so he can spare them since they failed their assignment. Megatron calls them incompetent and decides to take matters into his own hands. Megatron arrives at the Maximal Base and calls for a truce. They’ve crashed into an unknown planet and it’s better for both sides to take a breather and examine their environment. Ratraps about to deny the truce, but Primal stops him and allows it since they have to give peace a chance and it gives them time to plan.

Back at the human village, an attack occurs at the dead of night, giant spiders are killing humans and announcing themselves as maximals, even retreating in the direction of the base. The Humans arrive with clubs and fire to destroy the base, with the nexts scens having the maximals trying to prevent destruction of the base, and injury to the humans (cue Dinobots cage coming open). During the scuffle Rattrap starts shooting into the air, then aims his rifle at a weird spot on the ship, revealing Tarantulas and Black Arachnia (the kids told Rattrap they were there). As they attempt to escape Dinobot appears and severs all of Tarantulas legs, but they still escape since Tarantulas has an extra mode installed; a bike mode, allowing him and Blackarachnia to get away and meet up with Megatron, who’s on his way to the alien artifact. The Maximals now make way to the artifact were massive battle takes place between both sides on a mountain. Rhinox fights the hulking Scorponok with Dinobot, killing the brute after stabbing his sword on Scorponoks cranium, which triggers a huge explotion that knocks Dinobot and Scorpnok out. Rattrap engages Waspinator near a rock formation, and tricks him into thinking he’s hiding in a different spot, takes out his wings,  and throws a grenade at him. Meanwhile, Optimus and Megatron make their way to the alien artifact, a super weapon that can destroy planets from a across the galaxy. Cheeto engages Terrorsaur, and kills him by jumping on his back and clawing his spark out, then gets ambushed Tarrrantulas and Black Arachnia… until Rattrap sets off his trap and has them fall to the abyss. Cut back to Optimus and Megatron fighting, then reverting to their animal modes since the radiation in the area is increasing as the weapon powers up. In a desperate move, Primal fires a rocket at the weapon instead of shutting it down, triggering a huge explosion that takes out most of the mountain.
